VTap-Webclips Online video and wikipea search - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

Found this on www.coolsmartphones.com
Basically put it's a great interface into Wikipedia and a brilliant way to search through online video sites and watch the vids too. Yes, you heard right - this software will let you search and then view YouTube videos, Google videos, MSN videos, MySpace videos and much much more.
It downloads fairly fast but the quality is not great.

www.tv-links.co.uk site and Windows Mobile

Don't know if this is the right forum to post this...
Anyway, some of you may be familiar with the site above. If you aren't check it out... it's great. Full lenth movies, shows, cartoons, music videos, whatever you would get on your regular TV, neatly organized based on titles and types.
I make extensive use of this site from my computer, and the shows encoded with divx can be saved on the hard drive. However, I seem to be unable to use this very site from my Wizard. Rather, the site opens just fine, but none of the linked content actually plays. I know this is a plugin issue of sorts, I just haven't been able to either find the right ones or get around it somehow.
Tried all browsers... Opera, PIE, Minimo and Netfront... nothing...
If anyone out there knows about it or has a workaround, please post it.
The thing is, TV-Links hosts links to the sites that actually have the video, and these sites vary. For example, a lot of the anime is on veoh.com, so you'd probably need plugins for the individual players.

This is the choice from our XDA's: http://m.youtube.com (I.E and Streaming Media Player)will do the rest. They are still uploading videos,so if you try to watch the same videos as they have on youtube.com it's not gonna be possible, but little by little we'll get it.
By the way it's also impossible for me to watch the videos from that website in the UK(which seems to be way cool. ;-)

YouTube Downloading

Hi, i know the touch diamond has a you tube application, but does it allow you actually download the videos and watch it later without any connections. or is there any other application that will allow me to download youtube videos??
Thanks !
Well I know you can paste the youtube url of the video on a site like keepvid.com and it lets u dl the file in mp4 format, and use the built in video player to play it smoothest
No, the YouTube application does not allow one to save the videos to the device, though I can say it is a great little application. They seem to have kept it rather basic, yet done a great job with it.
You have access to what I believe is all the videos from YouTube, so not like with the iPhone where you had videos compressed and put into a format suitable for iPhone.
With the YouTube application, you can Bookmark your favourite videos, search videos, see lists of top rated, featured and most popular videos, you can send someone links to the videos by email (not really looked at that feature) and there is the setting where you can have it on fast download or higher quality streaming and then there is auto which I think is based upon your internet connection speed.
To watch the videos, there is no better application out there that I am aware of. I also use CorePlayer occasionally too.
As the previous poster mentioned, you can access YouTube through your web browser, take the URL, copy and paste it in at Keepvid.com and then save the file to your device that way.

Streaming Online Videos

Hello Forum,
Is there any way of being able to Stream online videos on the Touch Diamond Opera Browswer...For instance, the latest goals that are shows on 101greatgoals.com or videos that are on bbc.co.uk/sport.
Thanks in advance,
Luke.
Use Skyfire
I suggest using Skyfire...brillient browser that allows you to watch video content from most sites...only site I've had problems viewing videos is ''megavideo'' as it has those stupid pop up ads...
Go to www.skyfire.com to pick up the app....
You will not be able to view videos on the Opera browser 99% of the time.
Cheers
Thank you for your response.
Is there any other way of doing as i had a look at that browser and it was not clear and crisp and didn't look that nice, even when playing the video.
Sorry but thanks!
Luke.
