needs to be a .wav file i belive
WM6 can use mp3 as this tones
For ringtones, a WMA is smaller than a MP3 with the same sound quality. (and it's supported for incoming calls... but not for incoming text message )

hi friends i want to create an aplication that allows to put a mp3 tone as a message ringtone and that it sound like a wav (i mean volumen level), and also that the tone end when the message is readed
