where you live ?

Its an HTC Tytn, $300 with a microSD card, a couple of cases(leather). original box and accessories that came with it. Always had a screen protector and case on it, never dropped or scratched.
Shipping from Houston, TX to within the USA. Shipping charges is in addition to $300.
Also have a Brodit Tytn mount that I would have no use for. I would throw that in there too.

I have unused Cingular Branded 8525 in original box with all accessories, if any one is interested. Also, has unused, unregistered Cingy 3G Sim card.
Currently has ROM vers. 2.06 & radio 1.4

Best website to buy a SD card ?

Hi!,
Can someone tell the best website to buy a Sd card ?
Should be 512 mb or greater, and have a good response in velocity
It's to be used in a Qtek S100/Magitian
Im' from Portugal, so shipment costs are relevant
Thanks in advance
Best Regards,
Miguel Cunha
You can have a look at this site:
http://www.tweakers.net/pricewatch/cat/48/top
It is a dutch pricewatch with many dutch shops, but also many internet shops.
I bought my high-speed 1GB SD card from Amazon.co.uk and it cost £63, which is equivalent to about €90. The brand is Bytestor and it works perfectly so far.
On Ebay...Guy in new york sells 1gig sd for about £38 and £9ish to ship.
Takes 3 - 5 days and fully guaranteed
bakerk ...
How much in USD or EUR ? I'm from Portugal, so.. maybe that person doesn't ship to portugal ... i have to look better in ebay...
Thanks
I'd recommend that you are very careful about buying on eBay...
I bought my first 1GB SD card from a person on eBay. The card he sent from the US was NOT the same as the card he was advertising on eBay. He claims it was the same but the speed rating was different. Customer service was non-existant and he didn't care that he sent me a different card brand. His card took 4 weeks to arrive.
This is why my second purchase was from Amazon. It was slightly more expensive but it was much quicker and I knew it was going to be correct.
Maybe I was unlucky with eBay but the very cheapest isn't always the best. :?
Good luck
Where to Get 1 GB SD Cards for Cheap...
check:
 www.ecost.com
 www.tigerdirect.com
Last I checked the first had a 1 GB Card for $57.00 Dollars, that is after the $20.00 rebate had been applied.
They also had a few for $6x.xx and $7x.xx, so check it out.
Plus they all come with warranties and from a company you can trust...!
They also have a 2 GB SD Card for abou $175.00, for those that always want more!!!
Hope that helps ya all out... 8)

This is NOT the guy I had problems with. (My guy was called Sarafatl.)
However, the guy I used had a feedback rating of 99.7% from over 100,000 trades. I thought I'd be safe. Two weeks after I received my card he disappeared from eBay. User account closed.
Compared with trading with someone like Amazon, who have a reputation to protect, eBay may be slightly cheaper but not cheap enough to compensate for the worry of using someone completely unknown, IMHO.
I ordered from sarafatl because he was selling the specific brand of card that someone in these forums had recommended (Kingmax) but that wasn't the brand of card I received. He said he'd run out of stock. I have no idea whether the card he sent was as good as the (recommended) Kingmax.
Bought mine off ebay. Lexar 1 GB, paid $65 including shipping to Norway from the US.
Always had good experience shopping off ebay, as long as you stick to the power sellers you should be ok...

You've been trying to sell this for the last for months it seems - stick it in the m.e.n or the loot! Or stick it on ebay - asking the same things in different threads won't necessarily get you different answers....perhaps if you posted a price that you wanted rather than asking for offers. As I guide I sold a mint one on ebay last week for £300. The sooner you sell it, the more it'll sell for - the price of new technology goes down, not up, with age.

Mine is worth more than a refurb one because I have:
iPaq HX4700 (as new boxed) With WM5 installed
Original cradle, instructions, cables, disks and box etc
3 stylus including 1 with built in pen
Spare Battery 2000mAh x 2
Spare Battery 3600mAh x 1
External standalone charger for spare batteries
Additional power/sync cable
HP emergency charger (works off 9v battery)
Clip-on Thumbpad (part no 375265-001)
GPS - Rikaline X6 High Sensitivity CF Receiver (brand new still in box unused except for testing)
I agree , E-bay is crap ! I have just tried to sell my Exec and ended up in a tricky situation with a buyer with no feedback trying to get me to send to and unverified address - Paypal state that I'll only be covered by the seller protection policy if I send to a verified address , But I mailed e-bay about the matter and they suggested I go ahead and sell to the guy anyway ! talk about contradiction !
This is the third succesive time I have tried to sell an item on ebay and had the auction end with some idiot trying to rip me off
E-bay only seem to be interested in collecting their fee
Fortunately , I found a buyer oustside of ebay , and should I be looking to sell anything in the future , I'll be doing the same
Ebay just seems to be a big headache where higher value items are concerned these days :?

Hp's have *warranty* as well, and the 'refurb' classification is a generalisation, I have it on good authority the ebay items are brand new end of line with a full 2 yr warranty. They're even selling them from hp's www.ipaqchoice.co.uk site for £250! All the accesories are cheap too....
Richard
I can't help myself...
Ipaq choice are not cheap for accessories. If you purchase the accessories from Ipaq Choice you would pay £519.48 The following prices are cut and paste directly from the Ipaq Choice website
(they exclude VAT),
Screen Protectors Covertec £9.36
Battery 1,800 mAh (hx4700 series) HP £48.51
Extended Battery 3,600mAh (hx4700) HP £82.55
iPAQ 9-Volt Emergency Power Adapter HP-Belkin £8.51
USB Power Sync Travel Kit Belkin £29.78
Stylus 3-Pack Replacement Kit HP £11.91
Thumb Keyboard HP £27.23
SD Card (512MB) HP £62.12
GPS Receiver G-Space £110.63
HP iPAQ hx4700 Pocket PC HP £295.74
You are welcome to think that the HX4700 is nowhere near as good as a HTC Universal, however I personally think both PDAs have pros and cons. The biggest con for the HX4700 is the lack of built in phone and 3G (although it wasn't orginally purchased as that type of device). While the HTC Universal is relatively big and heavy, and as good as the screen is, it's still not as good or big as the HX4700. Not everyone wants their phone built in to a PDA.
I've made a choice that I need my phone built into my PDA, and I need 3G speed so I have a HTC Universal, however it took me many months to finally accept that I could not keep using 2 PDAs. I've lived with both devices for a long time and it's not as clear cut as "the HX4700 is nowhere near as good as a universal".

I've still got them both, and I've also run the wm2005 update for the hx4700 ( did you? It's only just out - the official version I mean  )
and do not rate it in comparison for the Universal. There is a lag opening menus despite the fast processor, and the display on the ipaq doesn't compare with my toshiba e800 or the jasjar in VGA.
Richard
I obvioulsy misunderstood about your mention of cheap accessories
There are some good registry tweaks for getting the HX4700 running smoothly, they are different to the HTC Universal ones. In my opinion I got the HX4700 running faster. I use a USA ROM and yes I've only had it installed for 3 weeks but that was long enough to get to know the performance.
My wife has my old Toshiba e800 and again in my opinion the screen is not as good as the iPaq. I'm sorry if you don't like me having a different opinion to you.
I have already said how good I think the HTC Universal is - I already own one!
I respect your opinions and I also like other PDA's!
Be happy

X7510 in stock in UK

This is earlier than I thought - is this real stock or preorder???
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/1024/htc-advantage-x7510
It sure looks like it is in stock. Why not call them up?
So now we know why you sold your X7500.
...
Ha! Ha! No still not sure if I'll buy one yet, that wasnt why I sold. I'm a bit addicted to smartphones and UMPCs, i'ts not unusual (although some would argue it is stupid!) for me to buy a phone and then sell a few days later. Over the past 12 months I've had:
T-mob Vario, T-mob Ameo, TynTnII, P3300, Trinity, Blacberry 8310 (still got), S730, (another) Advantage - the one I sold again, a Shift, 3 different eeepcs (black 701 Linux, white 900 Linux, White 900 XP)....mmmm I think thats it but might be more. Now considering either the X7510 or the Diamond....anyone??
The Handtec call centre is only open un til 5:30pm, hence I havent called yet - I have a feeling I might in the morning....although if this post gets read I won't be the only one!
If this is true, then I guess On The Go Solution's stock might really be coming tomorrow here in the US. I sure hope to see more hands on reviews.
I dont understand why any athena owners are excited by this phone, it is a downgrade IMHO from the X7500, I use my navi button all the time.

not to mention the solid state 16 GB memory. To us here in the US, the price difference is only $100, so even with the buttons on the X7500, it does not justify the price. Their milking it too much.
others might say...mini SD or micro SD cards are now cheap... YES that is true, but you loose the ability to hot swap your cards, especially if the hard drive starts acting wierd and you have no other option but to use the card as your storage for applications. YES, you can use the 4 in one cable to attach peripherals, but of course, I wouldn't be carrying that thing in my belt pocket.
To me, the added peace of mind not worrying about the hard drive going nuts is a worthy cause to go for the X7510, especially for 1st time buyers.
...
GoSolutions.com wants $1299 for 7510
If GoSolutions.com is USA, then the $1299 price they are asking is $500 more than the X7501 and NO JOG STICK or BUTTONS. It is a ridiculous price. I have about half of my 2GB SD card free and about 6GB of the MicroDrive to go.

HD2 Brand New but not 2GB Micro SD Card?

I just bought a sealed HD2 from someone and it didnt come with a micro sd card, just wondering if this is normal, or are all HD2 suppose to come with a microsd card?
Bought mine yesterday and it came with a 2GB SD card
I bought it from a guy who had it shipped from the UK i believe he said (Im from the US). The seal was still on the box when I opened it to inspect before I bought.
I was all annoyed that HTC was only offering 2GB of storage on their flagship device (and no internal storage, either) but was plesantly surprised that my HD2 had an 8GB card in the box.
Anyone else get 8GB?

why would a company include a new security seal in the box??? That defeats the whole purpose of a security seal.... I've never heard of this before.
Re spare security seal in box
Yea I had one of these in the box, at least thats what I think it was, the missus seems to have thrown it away during a fit of cleaning madness. WHat a very strange extra.
<added> Mine was an upgrade from O2, came with 2GB and security seal, and is unable to use teh HTC website rom updates (serial not valid, I guess cos o2 have locked it to their own update path.)

I bought it from a guy that bought straight from HTC unlocked. Now I have to wonder if this phone he sold me is a refurb...anyway to check? I know w/ the iphone you just go to apple and enter in your serial and they will tell you what kind of warranty you have. Any way to do this with HTC?
It still blows my mind what they were thinking including another security seal.....
I cant complain too much since I did buy the phone for $620 tax free, but its still disappointing since he advertised it as brand new.
hi,
first i thought that the extra seal was a mistake from htc that only happend to my box, but now i see it wasnt...
i have one device from htc and one from t-mobile germany, both came with a 2gb card.
