Im very disappointed with my device bcoz its mobile window OS is in Dutch. Hence, i really dont know how to use it effectively. That's reason I am seeking for a upgrade ROM image. Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it would be nice if someone on this site would help with the problem above as I have the same on the Russian version of this PDA. You can only buy Russian version in Moscow

Prior to the ROMs being removed from the XDA ftp, i grabbed a complete backup of everything Herald related (and some other bits)
Currently running this ROM on both my own, and my girlfriends Herald, and it works like a charm.

it says invalid vendor id
and i tryed the other solution also and it didn't work
does anyone have newer versions of this rom ?? may be HTC Herald ROM 1.8.406.1 (WWE) or higher

I tried to flash my Herald, but it must have been too early this morning so that i bricked my OS.
I can only enter Bootloader Mode, but can´t flash because of CID - i think there are 2 alternatives:
- Wait for the official WM6 Update
- Ask HTC for the current Rom
Do you think they will send me the Update, what can i do else ???

A german WM6 ROM? Do you think ist is possible to flash this ROM on my VPA-Version? Where do you got the information that it will be released within the next 3 weeks?

HTC released a note that WM6 roms will be shipped from June on.
Of course, there will be a German Rom BUT you own the Herald made by Vodafone, so the HTC rom won´t work. You have to wait for vodafone to release a WM6 rom.
When someone did the cid unlock for our Herald, we will be able to flash any vendor rom, but there was no success until now !

Hopefully we have a good ROM cooker soon. I prefer a fast an clean rom, like I had on my Neo - perhaps smart1 will change over

Oh yes, i also had the Prophet before - NICE !
But Herald is very fast out of the Box - Have a go and give aserg´s tuning .cab a try !

DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID, do NOT flash your device to WM6 before you have read whatever you can about flashing your device (check out the WIKI), I suggest you'd better wait for the official ROM from HTC...

I have a franch spv m650 and I did use serveral cooked ROM.
Please remember that flashing twice is better. (you can start a reflash as soon as your activesynch says the device is connected again... during screen calibration)
After each flashing my GPS did not work, but after aplying the 2 CAB you find in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398736 everything worked fine.
