MDA Way to transfer entire phone book via bluetooth? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Hi all,
I just got a DEH-P9800BT bluetooth cd player, but I can only figure out a way to send each phone number one at a time. Is there a way to send my entire phone book to the unit at once?

My Parrot carkit syncs automatically transferring all contacts.
Works out of the box.
I guess the audio system you mention should be configured to do that as well (maybe it just cant)

Wizard Bluetooth Handsfree on PC

Hi All,
Here is an unusual one for you guys - you have really helped me out in the past; so here's hoping......
I currently work from home and would like to use my Bluetooth enabled Laptop as a handsfree kit for my Wizard. I suppose in a similar way to an aftermarket in car kit with caller display, contact navigation, dialling from the laptop etc, etc. I have all the stuff i.e. microphone, speakers, bluetooth on my laptop so I don't really want to buy an in-car kit to do the same job.
Is this possible, and how do I do it ??
I synchronise Outlook via Bluetooth, so I have no problem in connecting the two devices.
Just to clarify why I'm looking to do this - I have to place my Wizard in my study window in order to get a decent mobile signal. If I have it on my desk the signal disappears. I make all my business calls on my Wizard, and I am getting seriously fed up with getting up and down around 20 times daily to answer my phone!! Then if I need to refer to some info on my laptop, the signal vanishes when I get to the laptop 'cos I've moved away from the window..aaarrgghhh!!
Here's thanking you all in advance.
Possible Solution
As much as I know, and I understand, It is possible to use your laptop speaker and microphone to answer the calls on your Wizard. To do so,
1-Your laptop must be equiped with the WidComm Bluetooth Hardward and Drivers
2-Pair your Laptop with the Wizard.
3-Go to CommManager on Wizard then Setting > Bluetooth Select your laptop and in services check the handsfree.
4-Allow the full access to Wizard on your Laptop and connect to wizard.
5-You will see the handfree icon on Wizard.
Now on If any call comes you can hear the call on your Laptop speakers and Anwser via Laptop's Mic. But you have to stand up and go to Wizard to accept the call or dial a number. I not know if it is possible to answer from Laptop.
Thanks.
Thanks for the response Hacken.
I have also found this:
http://www.blueshareware.com/bluetooth_pc_dialer.asp
This enables a calls to be dialled and terminated from the PC via Bluetooth, but it doesn't work the other way around. I have been looking into this for a few days now and it would appear many people are also looking for a solution.
The market potential for a fully functioning Bluetooth/PC link must be vast as it could be a solution for disabled users in making phone calls, used in call centres, in car PC's etc, etc

No phonebook sync with carkit

Hi all,
I use a Bluetooth carkit with automatic phonebook sync (each time the phone connects) which takes quite long. The carkit cannot be used while syncing, so I was wondering... is there a way (perhaps with a tool) to completely disable the phonebook transfer by Bluetooth?
The first time the HD connected to the carkit, I was asked if I wanted to allow phonebook transfer. It doesn't matter when I say yes or no, the carkit just starts downloading.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Bluetooth issues with Microsoft Sync

I have not had any problems with my G1 with Microsoft Sync in my 2009 Lincoln... However, once i got my Nexus one.. there seems to be a ton of problems....
First of all, the pairing was a hassle... when going to add a phone.. the car shows a number to input in the phone... when i go to connect with the phone... the text box shows up for 2 seconds and then disappears...
I had to connect it by making the phone discoverable and having the car connect to the phone rather then the phone to the car..
Also, the phone numbers dont all get transfered... most of my phone numbers are synced thru facebook.. none of those show up..
Next, when i try to stream Pandora thru my phone to my car... it plays fine.. until i leave the car and try to come back.... then no sound comes out until i unsync the phone and resync it.....
anyone else having simliar issues?

X10 phone directory not transferring to car bluetooth system

I have paired my x10 with my car's bluetooth phone system(BMW) but the directory from my phone does not transfer to the car. My previous phones (blackberry tour, ,nokia n95) was able to do this automatically. Any ideas or is this an android OS problem (like bluetooth voice dailling)?
Also does the Voice Dialler app on the x10 actually work? I have never got it to do anything I say (might well be just me as I have the same problem with my kid).

I can't access my phone book from my car deck either. So basically I have to dial from the phone and then use the bluetooth to speak with. Also when streaming songs from the phone to the car deck, the name of the song being played won't be show. It displays unknown on my car deck. However with a blackberry or iphone it shows the exact name of the track being played and etc. Is there any way to fix this, I'm 100% sure it's not a problem with my car's deck since other phones that I pair with it don't have this option. I haven't tried voice dial yet... shall try it in a day or two and see if that works or not.
Its a bug from android itself not sony they fixed it in 2.0,lots of pioneer unit wont connect at all, under the bluetooh setting ,after you have discover your device, you will see the name of it,press on it and hold another menu will open.Go option and then deactivate the second option.IT should help worked for me on my pionner device.

[Q] send multiple contacts to pioneer car radio via bluetooth

Hi,
I have a HTC HD2 and a car audio system Pioneer DEH-P70BT. With my old HTC TYTN WM6.1 I was able to send multiple contacts to the phonebook of the car audio via bluetooth.
Now with my new HD2 I was not yet able to send one contact to my radio so that I see the name and all phone numbers of this contact. I already tried different ways and software.
The HD2 and the Pioneer are succesfully paired and I set Bluetooth to the visible mode.
My old software I used http://www.pocketkai.net/asp/en/details.aspx?387 (IR+BT Manger) seems not to work anymore. So actually I'm not able to send any contact to my car system.
Does somebody have an idea or mybe a solution ?
Cheers Wolle
