JEYO Mobile 2.5 : Wrong date after restoring SMS - P3600 General

Hi all,
I have a little issue with Jeyo Mobile 2.5.
I have old SMS from a WM5 ROM on my PC.
I have installed WM6, try to restore those SMS (So in jeyo extender: sms selection, then "copy to device") but all my SMS are dating from 2053 instead of 2007, so all new SMS are at the end of list.
Any ideas ?
Thx

perhaps a bug with Jeyo with wm6?

It works fine with me, using vista, wmdc 6.0 & 6.1, and various wm6 roms. The only problem is the message size of the restored sms, always 0kb.

always 0kb ? but you have text in your messages ? strange...

Mail from Jeyo support :
Hi Jerome,
It sounds like you might not be using the most recent build of the software. Try redownloading the Extender from jeyo.com and reinstalling -- if you need a new key just send us the Owner Name from your handset's Owner Information setting and we'll e-mail you one.
Sincerely,
Jeyo

Yes, the messages are fully restored, just the size isn't.
And I'm also using extender 2.5.

What a crapy soft, like you, always 0kb, not a big deal.
BUT, while copying SMS to device, the soft send ALL my old sms to contact !! almost 50 sms...thx JEYO.
I have uninstall this soft and now use SMS Backup directly from device

Saving SMS Messages in Memory Card

Is there any way to save SMS Messages in to Memory...
Like a notes with the Sender name or no. in it.
Since we dont have any backup prog to save our SMS it would be nice to have those messages saved in memory card to read later on.
At the moment I am copying them in each notes but Its not giving the senders info unless we enter them too...
But if we write Notes while we talk, we get that note under the person name itself... that way would be nice and easy to know which message is from who automatically.
Try the export or backup functions of smsOrganizer! You can find it at www.zedsoft.net

hollinshead,
Wow that was nice! too bad you just have to pay unlike smsorganizer, its free. But thanks that was a great help!
smsOrganizer v2.01 for WM2005
Try smsOrganizer v2.01 for WM2005 at http://www.zedsoft.net !
2.02 is out.
But it does not work with AKU3.x & above!
You can also try Jeyo Mobile Extender 2.0.
By the way, there is still a very primitive method call "copy & paste" from SMS (including the "To" & "From") into "Note" or "Word" or "Excel".
smsOrganizer for WM2005

How Backup/Save Texts message, before getting replacement?

Hi,
i'm getting a replacement MDA Vario later today (3.26am here), and want to backup all my text messages, before i give this one back, and hopefully restore them to the new MDA i get.
I've used spb backup, to do a backup, but nothing under it shows it backs up the text messages, extracting using their tool doesn't show anything either!
is there anyway to back up my text messages? does anyone know where the text messages are stored?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

You can use Jeyo Mobile Companion
Great to backup all the SMS, Contacts, History.
www.jeyo.com
yeah, you can use Jeyo SMS Backup. It works great in faria's 3.2 RC1 rom (its build in with the rom). I hard reset my wizard couple days ago and i was able to restore all my sms.
http://1800message.com/
will provide you with an online message vault, i use this and its great. comes with software you download and can upload all your text/pix/call logs, etc. I like this better than storage on my pc

How can I export SMS with wm6.1?

I have a bunch of sms that I would like to backup to a txt or anything on pc.
I tried powersms and jeyo 2.1, both giving me errors. Does anyone have any experience with backing up sms with 6.1? I tried turning off threaded view as well.

use PIM backup

This is where I am going to have trouble. Is there a file I can copy from my device? The screen and the keyboard are in two separate pieces now, because the phone broke at the sliding mechanism and shortly the cable attaching the two ripped. It still powers up and I can still plug it in via usb. Is there a data file I can copy?
You can use myphone.microsoft.com
You might have to get on a wait list but it does back up SMS among other things OTA.
Is there any other method of exporting the sms? Is there a file in the windows folder I can copy over to my new mogul?

Experience with SMS Backup programs?

Hi!
I did a search in the Leo forums and none of the three results answered my question:
I plan on upgrading my Rom and therefore want to backup my SMS. I know there's a programm from SPB, but I'm sure there are others aswell.
I'm using Sense and the messages are nicely grouped in a conversation on every contact. Is a SMS backup programm capable to restore that aswell or is Sense doing that by itself when the SMS are transfered back?

I use pim backup, it backs up all messages perfectly, just as they were before.
I use Microsoft MyPhone. Works like a charm...
+1 for Microsoft MyPhone, I even use it when changing devices. It works for me every time and it's free.
Thank you guys! I'll have a look at both programs!
