I have dopod c 800 which is broke wjile install the WM 6 ,now the condition just the startup screen with :
- dopod logo
- ipl 1.09.001
- spl 1.09.001
-gsm 02.69.90
i'm trying to get into bootloader by pressing camera and stylus or camera+comm manager + Stylus , but the screen was goin back to the logo of dopod again.see the figure
i think after get into bootloader i can install the original rom first then install again the wm 6

Try holding the Camera Button after Reset, until Bootloader Screen appears, this must work out !
You have to hold both buttons (camera and commanager) until the bottscreen appears. only teh softreset button is pushed once.
DOn´t left the other bottons before bootscreen appears.

Thanks it works but pls find the way to make the gsm work after ugrading to WM 6 , nice system ..but sad always searching signal for the handphone.

hi my new dopod has a problems
after soft reset it struck on HTC BOOT Screen
i hard reset it using 1]camera button 2]connection 3]reset
and press green key
but stiil struck on HTC screen
please i want om update

step 1
camera + connection + reset
step 2
hold camera + connection, just release reset only
step 3
still hold camera + connection + green button
should be ok, there is mistake on the manual, the way u do should be still performing soft reset, I think
ok i tried that ant it says format complete but still stuck on HTC
tried rom update but error 260

what is the send button ?
A black screen tells me "press send button to format".
but i don't know what the send button is...

I did flash my HTC wizard with new rom after finishing the install the device reboot and stacked on the boot screen then I tried to go to the boot screen but I couldn't , I tried to make hard rest but also I coudn't nothing is working even charing the device cant be made .

Are you able to get to a multi-colored screen with numbers?
In case you don't know, to get to the bootloader screen hold down the camera button and press the power button.
now i got the same problem.
I updated the rom & now i have the multi-colored (red/green/blue/white) screen
with RUU - IPL 2.18 - SPL 2.18 - USB on it (Qtek 9100)
I downloaded the tools from Vippie in the thread "How to flash a new ROM to your Wizard... a little tutorial!" but those won't help...
anybody got any advice? I would like to install WM6...

hallow evryone...i am just a fresh user of WM and i got a i-mate k-jam g3 from ma elder bro... and i tried to upgrade it with WM6.5
but the stupidity that i did was.... i installed a charmer version in the wizard and now its stuck in the logo screen. :S

now that i cant run my wizard i cant connect with windows mobile device center and cant install new rom...
what should i do now??? how can i go back to my old WM5 ???

can u see the bootlload mode??
is a coloured screen (varoius colors in horizontal bars)
if is possible then, flash again, with a wizard ROM now...
i hope you can fix it........
bro... its not the 4coloured screen...
its the screen written "IMATE" and its only blue...
and to flash with a new rom i need to sync my wizard with the PC... but my wizard is stuck in the one color (blue with the imate logo) screen...
To sync with your pc you must be at bootloader (tricolor) screen.
I took the following from the Wizard Wiki.
''To go to the 3 coloured bars , just press and hold the power button (top) + voicedial button(right top) keep it pressed and hit the soft reset hole (keep the other 2 buttons pressed until the 3 coloured bars come up)''.-
Hi ! Please I need your help !!! I have Elf , and after I upgrade to Onyx 5.6 and tried to install HTC MEGA Manila 2D 2.0 Base Package it's restarted and stop working I tried to Hard Reset but it doesn't hellp .
1) Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus
2) Release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till I get 'this will erase all your personal data' message
3) then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset. But it go to start screen and after second go to black screen (or shutdown) , I can go to BOOTLOAD , but what should I do to get it work ?? Thanks !!!!
Sorry for my English !! I tried to update the rom from BOOTLOAD , after it fishish update Elf starts and go to black screen . any ideas why ?

If yes did you use Onyx for long time before installing Manilla or immediately after flashing ?

1. MY DEVICE BUTTONS(HARD KEYS) NOT WORKING BUT I CAN MAKE THE DEVICE IN BOOTLOADER (TRICOLOR) MODE BY PRESSING CAMERA + POWER BUTTON.
2. AFTER INSTALLING A ROM WHENEVER MY DEVICE STARTS IT SHOWS THE HARD RESET SCREEN (BLACK SCREEN........... ALL THE DATA ...BLAH BLAB......)

if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader
