There is a little bug with pim.vol in this build (only with contacts from SIM). You can apply patch, which restore another pim.vol.
Install patch:
- backup your contacts (you can use Jeyo Mobile Companion), because this patch erase all contacts from phone (not from sim)
- apply patch
- restore your contacts.

I use it more then 2 month, it stable enough.

Usually 8-9 mb. Leak of memory is small (after 11 days without reboot it will be 5-6 mb). Another screenshots I put lately.

Hi ALEURT,
Compared to andot's WM6 ROM, I have some concerns first before I try.
1. Is this more robust and responsive?I mean menu loading, and especially Messages and Contacts loading, is this faster?
2. Also is this in a near Vanilla version?I mean more or less it contains ALL the default applications that WM6 includes?Not just some replacements?
3. Is this AKU more latest than what andot used?
I am currently using andot's ROM, but I am having so much doubt that he is cooking a new and improved version since it is now killing me about the lagging and everything.
Thanks for this one. Hope to get answers soon enough so I can reflash and give you some feedbacks.

1) Hm, for me is better because include latest AKU (I port it to typhoon), no chinese, coolcamera works fine and more.
2) If you send me German language pack (for kitchen), I will make German build

1. May be no more faster because it depend on cpu, my rom no have unnecessary components and settings.
2. In my rom you don't find: STK, windows life, office, ... because it don't work (STK) or you can install separately (windows life, office), my rom include codecs for wmp, MMS and more.
3. Yes, andot used AKU 0.4.0 (18120.0.4.0 v.5.2.1616), my version is AKU 0.5.0 (18165.0.5.0 v.5.2.1711)

Cleartype have included in ROM and have activated yet. Choose other java-machine.

Just reinstalled my ROM (faria R32 clean) and need to reinstall Jbed and Opera Mini. I'm trying to install OM 4.2 and having a really tough time of it...
First OM I downloaded was apparently for a Smartphone because only Dpad and soft buttons worked. (Screen taps did nothing.) Going to OM site doesn't help because it doesn't recognize my phone at all. (Is there a browser agent string that can be entered that gets better results on this?)
My second attempt won't install *any* OM I download (even 3.x). At end of installation, I get "File error (???)". I'm guessing this is a problem with the version of Jbed (20080428.2.1)
Can someone please attach or post a link to good/known working versions of Jbed and OM 4.2 for Hermes/WM6.1?

just to note that I followed the same path... convergent evolution I suppose... (same ROM, same problems with OM, same solution)...
But as far as the ROM itself, I've experienced some crash/freezes that I'm not that happy about... so we'll see if I stick with this...
Also to note, I found a reasonable method of getting Opera 8.65 working... I prefer it to Opera 9.5, and certainly to PIE, in many cases...

Greetings. I Just flashed win 6.5 on my xperia, all working good except that Uptodate, medical software that depends on IE, does'nt work anymore.
Any fixes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does uptodate access an internet site, or is it installed on your sd card?
If the former, try different versions of IE or a different browser like opera or mach5. Mach5 renders pages very faithfully, and an option could be to log onto the desktop www.uptodate.com and just use that instead of the mobile version.
It is installed on the SD card, and the program uses IE by default.

Uptodate may be searching for a specific IE executable file or version
- Did your WM 6.5 come with an updated IE version? If so, try to downgrade to an older version of IE.
- Are you sure you can't choose the default browser that uptodate uses?
- If all else fails, you can temporarily just log on to the uptodate site if you have a username and a fast connection

I quit my Up to Date subscrption this year,
but I remember being able to log on to uptodate.com with Opera
I never even loaded the CD on my desktop PC: I always used the online version
I am using Itje's Touch It 6.5/ Manila. I don't know what version of IE I need to downgrade to?? I also cancelled my uptodate 2 months ago so i can't access online again.

I tried installing Uptodate on my Xperia flashed to both 6.5 and 6.1 and it worked fine apart from all the actual content screens being blank . What ROM were you using before when it worked?

Up To Date was working all along, my last Rom was Smaberg Touch X, this is my first Win 6.5 rom with itje and is the best by far.
i will buy epocrates essential instead.

I remember that on the first original TP2 rom, there was a version of ADOBE READER that allowed us toi load pages from PDF files 1 by 1.
The version included in latest roms (officials or cooked ones) doesn't have that option anymore, so it becomes very hard to consult documents with 20-30 pages or books with 300 pages since they need to be scrolled down and it is painfull as hell. I remember reading books without any problems with the original version of the READER that was found on my TP2 when it was stock charged.
So what i'm asking, is if there's a chef out there who still has a copy of the original WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1 rom and who can extract it for me, or if someone has the cab (i already looked over and nobody seems to be missing this function).
