come on all you people who have upgraded to the kaiser!

there are a lot on ebay, if you want in person that is a diff thing.
But even i found a lot of buyers in person
i would have jumped on the kaiser as well if tmobile had there 3g act together, but im going to be skiping it i guess, until 3g is set in stone and something like the kaiser comes out with vga, reason for vga is that its really great for browsering from what i saw qvga vs vga... it does likee pretty damn cool, i also want some more beef on the cpu and esp gpu, i feel that kaiser is just a little bit of a step up and not worth the upgrade, for that price tag, if doing a contract and getting a great deal then yes or if having a lot of money burning in your pocket that or if your job req the use of pocketPC/pda heavily then ya of course you want the latest and greatest

i also used craigslist.org great site for local buy/sell etc... you can also use some other forums... im not sure if were allowed to post other PPC/PDA forums here? but there is a big popular one as well that has a buy/sell forum... which i think is a must... because you get to know ppl here and would trust a times them more so then a random person on ebay or so.

Try an E90 out, best piece of hardware i've ever owned! It's a little large, but the keyboard is brilliant and the build quality is top-notch!
I'm sad to see it go, but it was never my phone to begin with

i've upgraded to the TOUCH HD, and want to leave my Uni to someone that could benefit.
the way i figure it, i've loved it since i had 3 years ago and if it wasn't for the hard work of the cookers who cracked the updates and even WinMo6, i would have been a lot less happy.
they're very responsible for a lot of the productivity and fun i've had along the way, which i've payed forward. now this is a little direct payback .
The forum members have been great support too, and this community has been a constant source that fuels the evolution of our Uni's.
Included is :
1) HTC Universal G3 (very good condition)
2) 2gb SD card
3) USB to Mini-USB (for data and charging)
4) Tomal's 8.2 ROM (excellent)
5) 2 stylus' (replacement for the original i wore out!)
6) replacement battery (bought 2008, 1600MaH. original wore out)

I'd like it to go to one of the cookers that may need an new/extra Uni for testing, so that it can help with their efforts in supporting the rest of the Uni lovers here.
if there are no takers from any of the cookers, i will happily leave it to anyone else that wants it

well i believe the small amount of money i could sell it for on Ebay (a few hundred dollars AU) and how i could invest that much money, compared to some that can actually use a free device for the greater good is no comparison for me.
there's an Ebay sale HERE where the person has a great offer for a complete Uni with accessories, for a reasonable price.
seriously the value of a few hundred bucks means little to me compared to the value of the device in the best hands.
think of it like:
*giving $300 to a starving stranded man on an island.....or giving him a $50 picnic hamper.
*or, a wealthy person giving $10 to someone in need, compared to a poor person giving $10 to someone even more in need.
there are many energy forms of value, depends who you're relating to and how. that much money in my life isn't worth much, those devices in other lives could mean a lot.
So there's no loss for me, i've already gained enormously from the device and i already have a replacement. i have an efficient upgrade.
someone can benefit a free device/s and gain enormously. an efficient upgrade too.

i'm glad there are people wanting the Nokia, i thought it would be difficult to find interest as it is a phone that not many people liked when it came out.

Put it in bootloader mode. You can see small note at the bottom of the screen, if it starts from 1, then its G3. If it starts from 2, then its G4.

I just paid for my new HTC Touch HD I got on eBay last night and it should be shipped out from down under pretty soon. So, I guess that means HTC can now announce all of their cool next generation phones. At least that's how it usually works when I buy something high tech. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting it and going through the process of installing all the software onto it.

You can also do a direct bank transfer with these guys, and they gave me good service in the past. I know it's a bit more than you mentioned, but that's the going rate, unless you want to try marktplaats?

Yes. I've flashed Dutty's rom on it and I've downloaded some other programs I plan to add. I'm learning things as I go but so far I like everything except:
1 The screen goes black during a call. How do I get the screen back up? What if I have to "press one for English"? There's no keypad.
2 Whle trying to delete calls from teh call history I've accidently called people a few times.
3 While trying to install the ROM, which took about an hour, my wife was trying to call me to pick her up fom the metrorail station. She had to wait an hour since I don't have any other phone. Boy was she pissed.

Press the arrow button and the screen should come back on, then their's an option to display the keypad.

HD 2 Fake?

I've seen very cheap a HTC HD2:

But if the Windows Mobile is original (what I think), am I then able to flash it with another ROM which is made for the original HTC HD2?

defo fake anyway...you can see by the 3 sensors on the front and the back of the phone

. It sure looks good to me but the price can likely get one hd2 already maybe a used one on ebay . Its a fake, check out their Sony Ericsson X10, it doesn't even have Sony Ericsson or X10 written on it.
As it isn't a real HD2, I doubt a ROM would work.

Someone I know, who told me about the HD 2 Fake too, got it much cheaper for me
So I've paid 230$ for a phone with a glass, capatsitive Touchscreen with Windows CE and a very nice UI (if its how it seems on the pictures/videos) and WiFi. The only thing thats missing is GPS, but a forum for chinamobiles told me its no problem to connect a GPS-Mouse via Bluetooth

It sounds brilliant. Please keep us updated with how the phone actually works out for you.
I'd also be interested to know what the build quality is like i.e. if it breaks very quickly.

I forgot to say that on mine everything works. I can use the GPS, etc. The only thing is that the IMEI is not in any HTC database. I've called HTC and they say that the phone was not made by them. I wonder that is why I was able to pay $300 for when it was listed as a new item.
