PTT Application - Advantage X7500, MDA Ameo General

Is there any reason why the Cingular Push-To-Talk wouldn't work? It's a cab/group of cab files that get installed. On my 8525/Hermes there is a PTT button but I wonder if there is a way to map that to another key on an Athena?

Shortcut to "Close" the programs

I read from the user manual of Universal (Dopod 900) that we can in fact close the active program (rather than just minimizing) by "Ctrl + Q".
It works usuing the soft keyboard. But anybody knows how we can do the same using the hardware keyboard of Universal?

how to remap the keyboard buttons?

some of my keyboard doesn;t correspond to what the been printed?
any chance to remap it?
That's some excellent question. I know I saw a prg for the PDA2K.. but not for the JJ. I would love to Remap the 'SYM' keyboard button to CTRL or ALT... I know there's a program that may simulate certain keys.. but you need a way to MAP the keyboard button to execute it (i think..mm)
The PQz program does this (and more) very nicely!

How can I assign a custom function to Sym button?

Hi all,
I found a cab file which can be used to reassign the functionality of the Backlight Button on my universal to anything in Programs.
I was wondering if such a cab can also be made/already exists for the Sym button.. Basically what I need is a registry tweak which will make this button appear in the Start->Settings->Buttons aswell...
Coz' for someone like me, this button is a regal waste and i'd love to put it to better use..
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
mOrph

assign buttons on the Wing

Last night I was on this site and started the "make your wing really fly" mods and now my green call button doesn't work anymore. Is there a FREE key mapping program out there so I can reassign it? Or, perhaps a registry hack to allow me to simply reassign it with it having to waste more space on my Wing?

Voice Dialing on Diamond2?

Hello all, I am looking at picking up a Diamond 2 variant (Probably the NextG one so I can get 850 3G), but wondered if Voice Dialing is support or included with the Diamond2 anywhere?
Also how easy is it to get to and actually do a voice dial of a contact? My Touch Cruise had voice tags assigned to whatever function or contact and that was easy enough, but it also has a hardware key for voice dialing only...The Diamond2 does not have that hardware key and so I wonder how easy it is to actually access the command and utilize it without going in several menus, etc.
voice command
Hi,
I used MSVC on 6.1 , installed it on 6.5 , working well no probs.
Did it come with VC then? Or did you have to use a cooked ROM to get it, or did you buy it?
How easy is it to us VC once installed...can you assign a button to voice dialing, or is it an icon you can have on your Home screen readily accessible?
I am using only cooked ROMs and can confirm that on most of them (WM6.1 or WM6.5) Cyberon VSD is working perfect. You can either run Cyberon VSD from the left hard key or from the BT headset's button.
What is the "left hard key" exactly?

Click to collapse
The send button which you use to answer a phone.
The retail version of Cyberon Voice Commander (not VSD, MSVC-like ) works great on Diamond 2. It supports BT button, and you can set dialing key or volume-up/volume-down keys as hardkey from its Settings.
You can download this version from Cyberon's website.
If you search this forum for "cyberon voice dialer" you'll find a cab that fits for you.
