Great RPG type Games? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I dont have much time a day on my phone to play a game but what I am really looking for are some games I can play on my cingular 8125 that are somewhat adventure rpg styled games that I can run around in, kill some enimes and save it then go back and play a bit more later or something.
Anyone know any good games for playing on the Wizard? Thanks!

Not really a pure-RPG but more of a Turn based strategy/RPG.
Its the free port of Heroes of Might and Magic :
http://pocketheroes.net/
Its very good gameplay ,very good graphics and with lots of maps to play.

Try searches for "Strange World", "Dames are trouble", "The Nutcracker" (particularly good!) among others...

Thank you guys for the feedback. I will check them out!

What is your favorite game on your magician ?

Yop.
All is in the title
I know it's not really the place to ask this. But I was wondering and maybe we could share some great discoveries.
I don't play much on my PDA, but every time I go somewhere I have to wait, a good game helps killing time
One of my favorites is Slay (I used to play it on an Ipaq, don't know if it's running on magician).
Ouais
I love playing Texas Hold'Em Tournament Edition on my Mini
Some games I like: Kevtris, 4InLine, Lemmings, Worms, Sky Force, Flux Challenge, Tomb Raider, Blobby Volley.
Any more good games?
I play Worm World Party, Atomic Cannon, Wolfstien3d and recently 3d block which is a very nice 3d tettris game..
I have many other games.. but I play these games most frequently
cheers
were did you get em guys?
Trial Challenge!!! it's fantasic
Many games on ppcs are boring and stupid. Like pdamill products such fluxchallenge, Anthelion, Arvale... I think, they are best of ppc games because they are beautyful and perfectly suited for ppc. But I don't play them a lot. As professional game-designer I can say: this is crap!
Now I am playing in Warfare inc. But frequently prefer an emulation! like Sega MD, NES and SNES. That's all!
Test Twist and Medievil Heroes at the moment. Bought Warring Nations but haven't yet read the instructions or given it a decent go.
Sudoku
Pocket UFO
Games.
Who didn't love the old adventures on your 486-DX100
Sam & Max hit the road
Full Throttle
Monkey Island
Day of the tentacle
And alot more....
This games give you hours and hours of game fun... more than your battry can handle.
Besides the normal ppc games named above you should take a look here
http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/
They look fantastic on your Magician ! And I love Sam & Max, hehe.
Also it good playable with the touch screen.

I added some pics of Full Throttle..
This is full motion video, it runs smooooth and it looks really great !!

Sorry man, i can't send you a copy. The size of only Sam & Max is about 180 Mb. This is because of the speech in the game and Full Throttle is even bigger.
There is a free game you can download. It is in the download section of the ScummVM website.
Beneath a Steel Sky, Freeware CD Version (67M)
http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/downloads.php#extras
This game is donated to the ScummVM developers for developing their program. There are also some demo's you can try until you found a computer that can acces the BT network [/quote]
OK,I see.Thank you very much anyway.
Hey guys,
Thanx for these great discoveries.
I forgot to mention that I also enjoyed resco xball on my ipaq (wonder if it's running on a magician).
But I had only the demo, so it was (very) limited
Ouais
Actually, the GameBoyAdvanced ROMs are supported on PPC via a ware named MorphGear.
There are really a lot of brilliant games on GBA.
Besides that,my favourite game is SkyForce.then AngelFish....

i'm playng FLUX CHALLENGE,it's a game like wipeout,very nice

Shift, Freeware madness

Hi everyone !
I'd like to talk about an addictive game I just updated : SHIFT !
Shift is a dynamic puzzle game that doesn't require the stylus to play, making it ideal for quick games in the metro or the bus... It is a bit hard to take in hands on the first go, but once you pick it up you just can't stop playing...
The rules are really basic : click on the left, right, upper, or lower part of the screen (or press the direction pad) to have all the blocks who can move in that direction... If you form groups of 3 or more blocks, they'll disappear, etc...
To get huge scores, trying doing combos, not leaving a single round before exploding another group, etc... Easier said than done !
Original game from TONYPA : Ununicum
Download Shift
It doesn't look like much, but it's the same kind of addiction you get with Jawbreaker
Waiting for feedback/comments/suggestions/anything, thanks !

LoL same here thanx alot 4 this nice game
oh dear....
I should be doing an assignment, but I find myself playing shift.....oooh, how addictive.
An observation -it does place it under the programs directory when installed and not under default games directory.
Thanks for the free game....must get back to assignment....no must play more.
Thanks for the feedback
I haven't played too much with the cab maker yet, and last time I tried it didn't work at all :s
Thanks Mollusc installing now.
And all you others, don't forget to try all the other games Mollusc has done, they are all great.
thanks. anychance this is the same TONYPA who creates flash games?
Wow, faster than the previous version very much
question:
i try to play the previous version, it is a battery eater, i play 5 mins and i loss 5-7% battery, is it possible to improve?
or it just my problem?
i will test this verion later.
Yes, it's an idea from TONYPA who created the flash games I showed him this version I coded and he authorized me to distribute it (as I didn't steal his graphs/code/anything).
As for the battery, it should be MUCH better... The old version used 100% CPU all the time and would refresh the screen constantly, while this one uses much less and only refreshes the screen when needed ^^
works great on my X500, I love the ultra minimal package (one exe and that's it!). Very good game!

Great!
will u update the other games?
Yes, I will updating all the games 1 by 1, but with my exams I still haven't done all of them ^^ And I'd like to add a few missing features (like the score that wasn't viewable unless you played a game in Shift), etc...

Any link to one of the games to check them out ? ^^
Some nice looking games on that site!!!
Brilliant little game. Now can anyone tell me how to get the kids to give me back my wizard ?
Simple : by a cheap second-hand PDA or a Nintendo DS ^^
Pipes
Hi mollusk, pipes is my favourite, well most played, how about adding a number of moves counter next to the timer?
It will have additional modes with moves limits and stuff like that
Thanks mollusk, I look forward to that and all your future releases.

HD Wobble if you want something to make your male friends laugh. As a game it may have limited entertainment value depending on your level of boredom
I forgot the game "Zonania" also, a really cool game!

[Q] Reckless Racing on HD2

Have anybody tried yet reckless racing on their HD2 android .. graphics are awesome and might need some overclocking, but I'm interested in knowing if anybody tried out yet.
Droid Life Review with videos and screenshots
whohoooo run great on my HD2 a very nice game!! thx for this tip
Best racing game for android in my opinion. It runs smooth on my hd2. I really like the "micro machines esque" overhead gameplay. Its nice to see something different. The accelerometer based 1st person racing games aren't really fun to play, more of a novelty.
Definitely gonna check this out looks like loads of fun
Not sure if it will take over my HomerunBattle3D addiction tho
plays great on mdeejay rEVOlution 2.2...nice sound effects and graphics
also playing "dungeon hunter"...nice game
Hi
I have a serious Problem with my HD2!
I'm using Nexus Hd2 2.9 : (Its Really Great!!! But ...)
but when I try to play a 3d game just like Reckless Racing the screen would be like this:
hxxp://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3291/recklessproblemonhd2.png
Please Help me! Should I Change my ROM cause many friends could run the game with out any problem!
Can I Fix it?
Kind Regards
Senamas
this is a seriously cool game thanks for the headsup on it
chainfire 3d :download from the market
download the plugin nvidia
install the chainfire 3d find the nvidia plugin (it will find) and fix the market from the menu, push pre-app/ reckless racing / load plugin / nvidia
it will work

[ Discussion]-The one game you always go back to.

This isn't a ratings topic or a top whatever topic...This is a topic of what game you just can't get enough of. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of great games out there. I'm curious of the diversity of the crowd/ XP community.
For me...its Minecraft. I started playing it on android & after uninstalling to check out other games, I always bring it back. I like how smooth it runs. Its the one game that I have truly never had a problem with...but enough about my choice.
R800x-unlocked/ Aokp-m6/ 4.0.4
Im with you, always have installed minectaft, for me the best sandbox game.

FIfa 12. Although i rarely play games on my play, despite having so many, i probably go back to FIFA the most... Or Snake 97 lol
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Dead Space.
The only one I've ever reinstalled so far is The King of Fighters Android. So good.
Dark Knight rises,reckless racing 2
Start to play wild blood ATM.....chances are great to become next favourite
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
MMMMMMMMMMinecraft!
And Asphalt 7, but since i do development of roms, i mainly change roms so i dont stick with much gamez.
Being a classic gamer, I bought my xperia play mainly for emulators. The first console game I ever owned was Sonic 1 for the master system. Even these can always pick that up and not get bored
I found that the xperia play is great with NES and GBA emulators, maybe I'll try to get a SNES one soon as well.
pokemon FTW !!!
Pokemon and emulator gaming.

My Boy! is my favourite. The UI is tidy and easy to follow. It has the ability to disable linear filtering. Cheat support was included with the latest update. I get full speed in all the games I play without needing to use frameskip.
VGBA has good compatibility but the UI sucks and is battery heavy. Also the developer is employing dirty tricks like preventing people with LP installed from using the app.
GBA.emu you would expect to be good but performs very poorly on the Xperia PLAY and other single core devices. You get lag every 10-15s with frameskip on, and is slow as hell/unplayable with frameskip off.
Gameboid used to be my favourite until My Boy! replaced it. Both Gameboid and My Boy! are similar in the UI and performance. My Boy! is slightly better in both those areas, and seeing as Gameboid is no longer being developed, it made sense to buy My Boy!.
Sonic episodes 1 & 2
I allways go back to them!!
Draw Something... Yea yea yea, make fun of me, I keep uninstalling it because nobody plays it. I always go back to installing it after a few weeks without it because I feel like playing with someone. Nobody plays it anymore, so I uninstall it. Repeat process.
