Hi All,
I have the xda2s on payg and the settings for the net work fine.....I also have an xda exec (unlocked) which I would like to use on the net as well......I transferred the settings(and sim) from my xda2s to the exec but allthough I get a connection on the exec every time I type in an address it replies with "the page cannot be found check the name and try again"............the settings are identical to the 2s but no joy !! any suggestions please ?,

i have just bought a xda exec that is unlocked. i have a vodafone sim in it that i have taken out of my vodafone 3G data card.
i can send sms from the device but i can't use gprs / 3G
i have seen fourums on the net suggesting i need a cab file from i-mate, but unless you have an i-mate you can't get in.
i have also contacted vodafone, they suggested that i need a ROM update but wouldn't suggest where to get it.
Can anyone help me!!

I've got an Xda Exec and I've got no problems connecting to Vodafone GPRS/3G.
Im use the Tom Tom Navigator 5 with the Traffic information and I have no problems connecting.
Have you set up the ISP on your Xda Exec.
If you need the setting for the GPRS and the MMS for Vodafone send me a PM and I will provide you with the information.

Hi, I recently moved to orange payg on my wizard and have got the data service working perfectly so i can browse the internet. I cannot however get picture messaging working. Ive seen the posts around the board detailing the procedure on wm2003 but im having trouble translating the information into wm5 tried a few different settings but no joy so far.
Can anyone that has mms working on wm5 / wizard for a uk payg orange sim please let me know all their settings.

I'm using an unlocked vario with these settings and they work perfectly.
thank you for the reply. I just got it working however... called orange and they had 'forgotten' to enable it. Gave me 30 free pic messages so i guess its all ok in the end.

I have recently acquired an Atom Exec from Hong Kong and live in the UK. All works perfectly well except for my MMS function and GPRS. Can anyone please provide me with the settings I need to input. I am on an o2 monthly contract in the UK. Please help! Much appreciated.
P.S. called o2 who have said that they cannot help because the phone is not listed in the UK! - damn useless people

Hi Folks
I was looking to go about setting up the blackberry software on my Vodafone 1605 (TyTn) I had a look here http://www.my-xda.com/xdaMiniSoftware.jsp
and the closest model is the Mini S . Is there a similar upgrade for the TyTn or is it early days ? Or can this software be installed a different way ? Basically they are telling me the software will connect to my network providor (O2) and allow me to use the phone with a Blackberry Internet Account
Anyone done this ?

OK so I got the Blackberry connect software installed on the handset (downloaded it from the FTP here) but when I try and register the handset on the blackberry site , it errors on the PIN / IMEI combination .
I called O2 and they basically said the PIN is invalid .
Suggestions ?

hi all i have a xda11 on o2 and having problems going on the web and o2 active i have spoke to o2 which help a bit. Does any one know how to solve this problem.Also it is on payg i know i have to but the setting in but does any one have the as the o2 site is not much help
