Hello community!
I just got my used MDA from ebay which had a Sim Lock!
I unlocked it using Lokiwiz3a and the card is accepted!
When I turn on the phone it just keeps searching for network service and won't find any even after hours!
I've tried it with a T-Mobile SIM of my brothers and it worked but my Bluetello SIM doesn't!
I don't have any other SIM card or Phone to try if it is a problem with the SIM, so I ask you, if you know this problem or if somebody ever had this kind of Problem?
My Device:
ROM Version: 2.26.10.2 WWE
Radio: 02.25.11
I think it is a G3, because it shows on startup

Whose your service with? Try your sim card on your brothers phone and see if it works.

Its a SIMcard from the callcompany i got me in Germany!
It's less expensive than signing up for a plan here, since I am only here for a year!
It already worked on my RAZR(which I bricked )

T-Mobile Phone!!! SIM LOCK!!!! I don't know a way to remove a simlock on a samsung x495!
Update:
I have tried it in my brothers phone(unlocked it ) it also doesn't find service, so I guess my Provider deactivated my card!
I actually called them yesterday to reactivate, but I think that didn't happen yet!

Hi all, i'm new to this forum, and have just bought an XDA. Iam in the UK
I was reading the site last night and have upgraded to the XDA-Developers Special Edition ROM v1.2
I am having problems using the XDA as a phone i have a Pay as u go Orange sim and it doesnt get a signal??
Could someone please talk me throught what i am doing wrong??

i could be totally wrong here but maybe its your sim card at fault, maybe it isnt data activated. i tried my xda with my old - working - t-mobile payg card and altho' the xda worked i could neither make nor receive calls. i think it has something to do with the services offered by providers.

Does the sim work in another phone, has the sim ever worked in the xda, have you tried a different sim in the xda, I dont know where you got the phone but it may be that it is blocked to all networks, did you ever see the xda working before the upgrade to developers rom 1.2

No the sim has never worked in the XDA.
No i didnt see the XDA working b4 i upgraded.

A little update
I have contacted Orange and they have enable GPRS is there anything else they need to enable, as it is still not working!!!!!!
I have upgraded the Radio Stack to 4.21.00 still no joy!
Any ideas, it searches for a netwrok then says No Signal

sim/xda problems
sometimes the switch on process can take a while. have you tried the card in another phone? do you have a non-payg sim card that you could test in the phone?
do you know someone with a card?
have you unlocked the phone?
i really don't know what to suggest but if you've tried every combination of cards and activation then its either the software or the phone.
mug someone with an xda and use there sim card.

Orange with No Signal
I have a Orange contract sim and it does'nt have a signal either but it worked until i updated the the radio stack to 4.21 but a downgrade is not possible, i have tried t-mobile and still the same problem. if anyone knows how to downgrade it to radio stack 4.01 which is 1 that i know that works. Lets hope XDA-Developers and suss out how to copy the GSM In the Wallaby Bootloader. if anyone can solve this problem you should be king.....
use the band switching tool lol
its most probally on 900mhz (voda,3,bt) instead of 1800 (orange, virgin, 121)
1900 is the american signal also if you have upgraded your phone to pc2003 then you cant get it to work on orange then lol coz it only allows you to do 900 or 1900 :roll:

I have tried an O2 payas u go Sim and it works, very strange!!
But Yes it is defo unlocked!!
Will keep trying the Orange Sim and find out why it wont work!!

Hi all,
I've unlocked my phone successfully using an unlocker from unlockitnow.com (I know yall can start hating now for me paying but I tried POFs version a hundred times and it wouldnt work...)
I'm using the Softbank X01HT in USA, the Japanese SIM card I use connects to T-Mobile GSM network. Now that I've run the unlocker, I put in Softbank SIM it still connects fine. Great. But when I use a T-Mobile SIM, it never connects and when you try to access the settings for the phone it says Phone not ready try back in 15 seconds (which never ever works).
I am using the Black-Shadow-IV ROM from jasjamming over at win4mobile,
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.04 (which the unlocker put on there it appears, was using 1.40.Olipro)
Radio Version 1.14, the sticky one
I don't see how it connects to a T-Mobile GSM network with a Softbank SIM and not with a T-Mobile SIM but thats whats going on here. Is it fake-unlocked??
Any help here is greatly appreciated.

How can I unlock this post Dec Softbank X01HT step by step. There are over 20 posts to this and its not easy to follow. Plus the pof unlocker claims to work with Radio 1.14 and it hasn't been doing the trick.

I'm seeing this strange thing. I have received a Qtek 2020, and I tried to use it with my sim (TIM, Italian Telecom) but I can't see network service, under any circumnstance. Then I swapped my sim card with a Vodafone IT one, and I've seen full signal immediately. Trying to change to another operator like Italian "Wind", took me just as the very 1st step: no signal at all. I tried to change radio rom/os rom, and running unlock tools (they said it's all unlocked). Nothing changed.
Anyone can help me?

I've tried *all* of the Radio ROMs for the device (found on buzz's site). Also for the OS rom and extended, when in 2003. Just don't know what else to do!
some older sims are incompatible
some people have reported success with
getting their operator sending them a newer
sim

It seems that works with the old ones as well as with the new ones (my sister has a 6-years-old card from Vodafone, and it WORKS!), but just from that vendor.
I'll just drop it in a trash can!
I wanted to try out moving from Orange to three so borrowed a sim card from someone who just recieved a new one for a sim only deal. The Sim though is not recognised.
The phone is a 3G using TNT diamond

Any ideas if it can work as it I have seen forum entries where it just works...

I have an HTC TOUCH DUAL NIKI100 version and I have no network on it. My SIM is on Orange Network but... the phone keeps searching for network. I only have network in some locations but in the most i dont. That didnt happened with my old phone... and i think is a problem from my HTC phone.
Can you help me?

try to upgrade radio or try Sim Unlock to solve it
