I can't use internet on my O2 XDA Mini s with Three-Network Sim-card. It's unlocked- phone is working and texts finaly too, but I can't make internet working.
Please help!!!!!

i have an xda 2i and a c500 smartphone, ive got an o2 contract sim in the c500 and all gprs settings work fine, in the xda 2i ive put an o2 pay as you go sim,
is there any way i can use the xda 2i to connect to the grps on the c500 settings

i have the same a XDA2i and a orange Nokia 6630 on a 3g cotract with a trial of 1GB of data free per month for 3 months, so of corse i wonted to do the same as you and use another phones GPRS/3G connection, but the XDA2i did not have the Bluetooth profile of DUN dial up networking, but with the help of poeple on her it now works, i will try and find the link they gave me to show you how to do it.
But it works fine i use it everyday and will do for the next 2 months untill the trial runs out :evil:

I bought new O2 XDA Atom in feb 07. I am facing problem with GPRS on the device. I am unable to connect/browse using GPRS on my device. The system info of my device is -
Radio - R060822N_MN1ARC_RS00052
ROM - 20060426B1WWE
ExtROM - EX0023
OS - Windows Mobile 5
I have updated my device with latest ROM recently. I have tried all ways to get GPRS working on my device.
If anybody using O2 XDA Atom with Hutch (Delhi) GPRS, please let me know how to configure device for the same.
I am facing call drop problem also on my device.
Please help me if anybody knows solution to this problem.

I had the same problem in Bnagalore.I called Airtel and they Shockingly said WE DONT HAVE SUPPORT FOR THESE PHONES ON AIRTEL GPRS, U WILL NEED TO ACTIVATE AIRTEL MOBILE OFFICE which is 399 / month and i did so and i am using mobile office.
AIRTEL GPRS does not work unfortunately.
I am upset with this...and am hoping to see if any one has a solution for Airtel ONLINE GPRS. Let me know if u get any help...cause at 399 a month its freakin me out!

I have been using hutch connection earlier and tried to use GPRS services on my O2 Atom but I could not get it working. I tried several ways as suggested on forums and suggested by hutch customer care technical team.
Now I have switched to Airtel and using its mobile office service on my O2 Atom. It works well with O2 Atom.

hello can anyone help me. my xda alpine is unlocked and im using tesco mobile sim card. my problem is i can only log on to the o2 website and no other sites. the sim card works fine on my motorola a920 and i can surf the internet ok. im running pug rom and radio 1.04. thanks

Have you entered the Tesco APN etc etc in proxy settings??
By the way Tesco uses the O2 Network

yes ive tryed all manner of settings but still can only get the o2 page raaarrr. ive tried isp, works the lot ive used the o2 settings as well but still no luck. what am i doing wrong with this phone. thanks

As above - sorry if report - I have searched but cant find an appropriate thread.
Using a Vodaphone card with an O2 XDA Exec. All works fine, but the GPRS doesnt appear to get 3G.
Using WM5 latest O2 release, as I need the Blackberry functionality.
I had the WM6, and the 3G then worked fine, but the Blackberry didnt!
Any thoughts as to why? Currently UK based and using PAP

Im having trouble connecting to gps, its only getting a 2900 metre lock on with o2 sim also its not collecting the date or time from the server.
It done this in my nexus s and galaxy tab. I asked o2 for the new sim and its still doing exactly the same
Any ideas? I can connect to net fine!
