Password Manager for Win Mobile 5 + Mac OS X - P3600 General

Hi is there a Password Manager that can sync with Mac OS X. I checked out eWallet and it only sync with Win OS, SplashID only syncs with Win PC as well. SplashID has a Mac OS X desktop client but it only syncs with Palm OS. Anyone knows an app that can sync my P3600 with Mac OS X?
Thanks

I use "Missing Sync" with my Trinity in OSX without any problems.

Yes it does, too bad it does not sync with any password manager that I looked at (wallet, 1passwd, keychain, etc...) SplashID has a Mac OS X desktop client but it only syncs with Palm.

how to synchronise windows mobile 5 with groupwise

Gosh, this seems to be a new problem i am having with synchronising WM5 with groupwise. Any help pleaseeeee?????
I am stuck
there is still no application available. Some developers are working on it.
Wolfgang
Until WM5 I was able to do this with a PC running Groupwise 6.5.2. I just loaded Outlook 2002 on the same PC and that mirrored what was in Groupwise.....amazing but true! (but now not working as PC is on Novell network and novell workstation software stops Activesync working, so I can't sync anymore...and Activesync 4.1 made no diference....answers on a postcard please).

Real VNC

I have Real VNC installed on my desktop system and cant access it through my jasjar web browser its just comes up a blank page, anyone know of a way to access realvnc form the jasjar, it would be soooo coooooll
Thanks
Chris
You have to go into the VNC properties on the PC and click the legacy tab - then tick the Only Use Protocl v3.3 box.
It wont look good though as WM5 uses pixel doubling by default so everything will be big If possible, use the inbuilt Terminal Service client (ie if your PC is running XP, 2003 or 2000 server) or see the below link which tells you how to hack pocketpc apps to enable them for VGA resolution;
http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?threadid=105793
Good luck!
Alternatively you could get rid of VNC and register with www.logmein.com which works like a dream through my XDA IIi
VNC
Just found this and it works perfectly and is excellent to look at too,

I am using the .NET VNC Viewer 1.0.1.16.
Was working fine with VNC Server Free Edition, v4.1.1 but settings imported to 3.3.
However, all of a sudden one night - and no settings had been changed - I get a message on my Exec saying "The server is not a VNC server!"
The IPs are the same, the MAC addresses are the same. Nothing changed from one night to the other, yet now I cannot access despite reinstalling the server side software. Anyone got any ideas?

how to sync with an apple mac

ok, just upgraded to a xda mini s and have also purchased an intel mac.
having absolute nightmares trying to get the two to sync. i've tried pocketmac and missing sync.nothing works. I love the phone but if I can't sync, then it's useless to me. I cant even copy my contacts etc from my old xda because the mini doesn't have xbackup and takes mini Sd card.
Help! wot can i do?
Have you tried the alpha version of missing sync?(2.5.10a) - it works, but I'm having problems with my calendar - it wants to modify things when I syncronise which I haven't changed. back up all your data first - address book & ical. I have no experience of entourage as I don't use it.
failing that, as you have an intel mac, install boot camp & windows xp sp2 and then you can sync all. works well & windows runs very fast on my 20" iMac. I prefer OSX though!

You would if it were a PowerPC powered mac, but virtual PC don't work on an intel mac.
I have some hardware & programs that don't work on a mac, that work on my iMac booted up under windows xp.
And yes, I can do it!!!! (so I have!)
keep this dialog rolling
let's keep this dialog going. it's great to see MAC talk on this forum. so far i've had NO luck sync'ing with my Powerbook G4. any one have luck doing any of the ROM upgrade?
i'm on T-Mobile in the states.
whalien
I'm using Missing Sync on G5 Quad with my Wizard. I'm also using USBSwitch, on the device, to sync via USB. Works very well when syncing with Entourage and iCal. It also mounts my PPC directly on the desktop for easy browsing. I used to be a PocketMac guy when I used my h6315, but Missing Sync is much better and it works with WM5.
Speaking of Macs. Has anyone seen an Apple-esque, brushed steel Today skin that works in BOTH portrait and landscape views. The one I have now does not work in landscape.
I'm using missing sync 2.5a10 and have issues with iCal. I have to input all new appointments in iCal, because if I let them sync with each other all sorts of amendments go on, even if I have not made any changes on my iMac or vario. Address book seems ok.
The other thing also is that to get the Vario & mac to talk I have to shut down missing sync, then open activity monitor, force quit all missing sync references, restart missing sync the connect using my vario. Then it will connect usinbg Bluetooth.
Where can I find USBswitch?

do a search for USBswitch on this forum & you'll find it.
I found the USBswitch thread confusing. when i googled it, i ended up at this site for the handspring treo. is that the same software that would work with my mini S?
There is a thread called USBswitch in the wizard forum on this site.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=48251&highlight=usbswitch. scroll down to the bottom reply and download the USBswitch-ppc.zip. I couldn't do it on a mac, so I had to use a pc. - like many programs which come in zip form.

thanks. i'll give it a try.
How about they actually get a working version on Vista RC1?!?! It isn't even built into the RC...which tells me they are going to have at least RC2 which they have done in the past, and even maybe RC3...
Too much junk in Vista don't work..
Anyway, this is really only worthwhile if you are not using MSFP2 and Exchange for Push..none of this really makes anything better with the software on the device itself..which is what they really need to do..increase features in the software on the device.
Two cents..thanks for the post link..
Once again...
An update from the Mobile and Embedded Devices Team: The Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) Application is an independent application apart from Windows Vista. Windows Vista RC1 includes the WMDC driver which enables you to sync music, acquire pictures and browse the contents of your device. The full WMDC application enables you to synchronize email, contacts, calendar appointments and more. The RC version of WMDC for Vista RC1 will ship very soon, while at this time WMDC is only available for Vista Beta 2.
rite now
im just installing it... cant wait to use

This was added in ActiveSync 4.2 at least. I recently added a bunch of photos to my contacts in Outlook 2003 and they transferred to my contacts on my Cingular 8125 on the next sync.... Not really a big deal, but just wanted to set the record straight.
Have they re-enabled the ability to sync Outlook contact categories in this release? Hope so!!

Once Again...RC1 has been out awhile now...and it doesn't have WMDC....I have it installed, and you have no options to sync anything like the current ActiveSync...my point is valid.
So, they still haven't brought back Wi-Fi sync? IIRC ActiveSync 3 had it but when I was using version 3 I had a Motorola Mpx220 without Wi-Fi but when I got my Wizard that actually had Wi-Fi I had to upgrade to AS 4.1 and lost my ability to sync with Wi-FI >_< </rant> Oh well, I'll try this out and see if it works for me.
Also, I must agree that AS 4.2 photo synced with my copy of Outlook 2003 just fine ^_^
EDIT: I wish that I read the download page before I ranted. At least they tell us WHY they dropped Wi-Fi Sync ^_^
• Remote PC Sync (via WiFi or LAN) has been removed due to Enterprise customer feedback around security issues.

Firstly, RC1 has not "been out for a while now". Secondly, if you read my post or did any research you would see that WMDC is simply not available at this point therefore your point is not valid.

Wireless ActiveSync for Mac OS X

Hi, all my contacts are in Google and I have them synchronized with Address Book in Mac OS X, I am looking for an ActiveSync tool for Mac OS X that will allow me to sync my Address Book with the HD2 wireless.
I know that I could be using Google Sync but I am using the Exchange connection for my work email and I am synchronizing Gmail using IMAP.
Thanks
