I have this too. It usually takes a soft-reset to free up the application so that I can then uninstall it. Can't figure out why.
Hi,
Use SKTools uninstaller...
Otherwise, a softreset before uninstalling and no more error message...
thanks guys - i'll try both!

Blacberry software removal

Hi, I made the mistake of installing the blacberry software.
It does not work, and all my IT staff are stumped.
I tried to uninstall it, but it refuses to uninstall, very frustrating.
Does anyone have any ideas? I uninstalled some of the software manually, but there are 4 programs still there that refuse to 'leave' and the icons in the settings pages are still there.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Try SKTools or MemMaid.
Both of these can force uninstall and both come in free trial versions

Uninstall Stock Applications.. how?

Anyone know how to uninstall applications that were pre-installed into the ROM? The Remove Programs in Settings doesn't show any and will just show the ones that the user installed.

How to uninstall bundle software?

Hi,
I want to uninstall some bundle software including "google maps".
How to do that? any idea?
I've got an idea! search!
the installed applications are normally on your sd card under /system/apps. Back them up first and then delete them, for example with adb
