Brand new MDA Vario II available - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

In very short supply in the UK, but I've just taken out a new contract that I wanted to use a Qtek 8500 with, so as a result I've got a totally unused, boxed T Mobile MDA Vario II available...
Was bought on Saturday (will provide receipt...)
Any takers? Looking to recoup the cost of the Qtek 8500 plus the cost of buying the Vario II on the tariff I went for...

Well, I want a german keyboard... so no deal poss. unfort.

how much are you asking for?

Selling my MDAII

I am thinking about selling my MDAII. I got it through a employees arrangement at T-Mobile in the netherlands.
But I am wondering how much anyone is willing to offer for it!
Is there anyone interested?
I am but you need to put a value to it, also do you have/could you get the official MDA II carkit??
I haven't got the carkit. I do have: the MDAII, cradle, charger, activeSync software, leather protection case. It's only two weeks old.
I am wondering how much anyone would offer for it, so I can decide if i want to sell it or not.

I'm not interested myself as I already have a XDA II.
But I think you can ask around 550 - 600 euro for it if it's simunlocked.
Cheers

MDA II Value
I saw on T-Mobile site Netherlands the MDA II is 139 Euro. I assume that is the price for the handset with a 1 year contract.
I do not know what the value of a 1 year contract with T-Mobile in the Netherlands is worth, but I was tempted to see how much it was and if they would ship to the US.
I also called T-Mobile US and they said they have no idea when or if they would carry MDA IIs over here.
I assume that even if it is locked it can be unlocked. I know I am doing a lot of assuming.
I guess you need to figure out how much 139 Euro + 1 year contract is worth.
MDA II
just go to Ebay.co.uk and check out the prices on there, the XDA II are going from anywhere between 350 and 600 pounds and thats brand new sim unlocked, I bought mine off there for 450 pounds, I imagine the MDA would go for the same.
Okay, thanks for your advice. Is anyone from the Netherlands interested in buying my unlocked device for 550 euros?

o2 Mini S (Same as K-Jam, 9100) for $599 - US supplier

www.importgsm.com
Anyone use these guys? I am trying to decide which version o2, imate, qtek, or t-mobile to buy of this phone. so far it seems as though imate would offer the best warranty. i take it that is why people buy from them. qtek seems to be junk for warranty service (please correct me if i am wrong). t-mobile does not seem to have an english rom - causes me work.
back a few years ago i got an XDA II from o2 to get a cheaper deal than existed on the i-mate version. never had any problems and i think i sold it at a markup from what i got it from direct from britain. now i'm back to purchase a new htc device and am wondering: what more do you get for buying from i-mate really???
hi guys regarding Importgsm they were pretty good on expiditing my order which was a tmobile mda with a qtek rom wwe, which they actually got of this website.
I bought mine for 589 + shiping. they offered one year warranty directly thru them

Softbank x01ht V.s. Hermes

Hi,
I am looking to purchase the Softbank x01ht, but i am not sure if i should.
What is the difference between the HERMES, TYTN and Softbank x01ht
I read everywhere and it says that they are all the same.
But the Softbank x01ht is almost 200$ CHEAPER all over.....
Is there shomething i should know? will i be able to upgrade it's OS just like i would to the HERMES or TYTN.......
Please someone guide me through this
its cheaper because Softbank agreed with HTC to "handle" part of the cost...
Is This Right XDA ADMIN!!!!
Can we say now that
Hermes :
Also known as:
HTC TyTN / XDA trion / MDA Vario II / VPA Compact III / SPV M3100 / Dopod CHT 9000 / Dopod 838 Pro / .......SOFTBANK X01Ht.............
Please let me know if yes.....otherwise why not
huh???
the Softbank X01HT, as well as the Docomo HTC HTz has always been known as a "Hermes"...
I believe there are some things about the firmware that can make it difficult to tweak/hack the phone. If you check over in the Hermes Upgrading forum, you'll find a lot of people having problems with the Softbank. They do something to their ROM's to make them particularly difficult to replace.
Oh.. and the keyboard is printed Japanese.. There are normal letters, but all of the 'extra' keys (alt, option, etc) are in Japanese.

X01HT although being sold cheaper in internet, but the actual price wheh taken from Softbank directly cost around 80,000 yen plus contract signing charges. I dont think it is cheap, maybe sellers of this X01HT sacrifice some of their money because the 80,000 yen can be paid in parts. So, I think this X01HT in effect is the same price as unlocked HTC TyTn. One thing also, if you unlock the phone via IMEI-unlock, additional 40US dollars added to the cost of X01HT.

I will give you 5 dollars.

I've seen unlocked ones with wm6 go for up to £200 on ebay.
You should be able to get at least £150 if it's in decent condition.
