what is the latest version of the XDA-I ROM?
I have now...
Qtek 1010 PW10A1
ROM 4.00.11 ENG from the kitchen
Radio 4.16.00 frm O2
and wrok great but the need to change is calling?
If your radio stack is working, my advice is leave it alone, when you update to radio stack 4.21 you lost the ability to reset call counters, and imei manipulation via manipulator, also I dont think radio stack 4.21 is much good. You can upgrade the xda to WM2003 now that a real version has been released by Siemens ATT.
Thank you for responsing.

How to Change Siemens SX56 to be 900/1800 instead 900/1900

I bought siemens sx56 from AT&T & try to work in GSM 900/1800 but it is works only on 900/1900, The 900 cell phone works great but i want to work with my 1800 GSM phone.....I change it in the bootloader & "No signal" on the 1800 GSM phone!!!!
How can i change it to reallt works 900/1800?????
Maybe update the radio ver?
My 1800 service provider use the QTEK1010 (PW10A1) with
Rom ver: 3.16.52
Radio ver: 3.23.01
Siemens SX56 (PW10A1)
Rom ver: 3.17.03 ENG
Radio ver: A.20.10
Protocol ver: 324e4
With Special edition ROM 1.2
Yeap sounds like its time for a radio stack upgrade!
HTH
Did you get the device type from the rear sticker or the device info ??
The rear sticker is the main reference ... if it's still the same mother board of course!
If it's PW10A then RSU upgrade might help to get the 1800 MHz signal.
How to upgrade the radio stack & from where to get it?
Many many thanks
www.yorch.net the upgrades section
Little mistake - My model # on the rear sticker is PW10B1
Little mistake - My model # on the rear sticker is PW10B1, not PW10A1...
Can i still upgrade the stack radio to work with 900/1800?
Thanks
No.

Not sure if i really could help you. But your model is PW10B1 so you can only use 900/1900 GSM networks. There is no possibility to get it working on 1800.
Maybe this causes your problems...

just flash to RSU Version 4.21-900-1800 and in GSM boot menu select 900-1800

Click to collapse
That would be a bad idea.
The Radio Stack depends on the hardware version. Since he has a PW10B modell, the device is just designed for 900/1900 Networks....
Flashing the 4.21could set the device as a paperweight...

Qtek 1010 RSU

Hi,
I have a small problem and I don't know what to do.
As I disovered romkitchen I started to upgrade my qotek 1010 and now I see that on the back of my device it is written that it's a PW10A2 model and in my device information it is said that I have PW10B1.
As far sa I know PW10A2 means that I have a device 900/1800 and PW10B1 means 900/1900.
Is it very bad?
How should I deal with it?
my actual rom ver is 4.02.04 ENG and radio ver is 3.19.01 ( which I have also upgreaded before I'd read that it is better not to do so )
Thank you for all Help,
Orka
The naming in the ROM are fixed and do not depend on the real hardware settings. But that do not matter in using the device....
