Today Screen freezes shortly after bootup

Hi,
I got the MDA Vario II with T-Mobile UK (Hermes).
A friend tried to flash the ROM (don't know which one).
Active Sync connect, but as soon the phone freezes the connection is lost. Therefore I can't flash the ROM again.
On the bootloader screen it says:
HERM300
IPL-1.01
HERM300
SPL-1.09
When I power the phone up it shows on the T-Mobile start screen following.
M 05
S 04
B06 D 1.21
Sometimes 'No GSM' flashes up above the 'D 1.21'
Any ideas what I can do?
I did a few times a hard reset, where it went 1 out of 20 times to the 'set screen' settings. When the T-Mobile customization started it froze most of the time somewhere before it ended.
I got it now back to the today screen, after the customization seemed to nearly run through (3 pixels missing in the loadingbar at the end)
Any help very appreciated.

[Q] A unlocked lock with the words Custom at startup

At start up I get a black screen the says Samsung with a unlocked lock with the word custom under it. After that the phone starts normally and runs fine. I just know I tried to unlock my ATT phone with a different sim and the got the wrong unlock code from ATT. Since trying that I get this black screen when starting up..

[Q] Verizon Razor M XT907

hi all,
one of my frnd have this mobile and he gets OTA, after installing OTA the phone powers up open the first setup wizard and thats it. after selecting English its showing " Please wait, may take few minutes" and its been hours and no further changes in phone.
bootloader is locked
can it be sorted?
@demkantor
Has he tried resetting it? Hold the 'power/lock' and 'volume down' buttons together for about 6 seconds or until the screen goes black. Maybe the phone just had a hiccup during start-up.
Good Luck!

big issue.. phone locked

Hi guys, I've powered on my G7 after a quite long time to use it as a dummy phone, and? White screen with the warning which says that the phone is locked and waits for a fastboot or something similar. The problem is that I cannot unlock the bootloader because I can't get the model number from the OS, and I can't get it from nowhere else.
If you can help me... Thanks a lot.
Stefano.

Issue with brand new OnePlus 6T

Hello! I bought brand new OnePlus 6T from online shop. I received it and it doesn't work. After I longpress home button screen shows message "The boot loader is unlocked and software integrity cannot be guaranteed. Any data stored on the device may be available to attackers. Do not store any sensitive data on the device" and phone freezes - I can only turn it off by pressing home button very long. I never modified this phone - I simply took it out of the box and tried to run it... What does this message mean and what to do to make my phone work? Does this message mean I was scammed by the seller?

The message just means that the Bootloader was unlocked. Does it ever go past that screen into the boot cycle?
If you can't boot into the OS, you can try using MSM to restore your phone. It's not a difficult process:

This is how it looks like:
1. received the packege on opened it
2. I turned on my phone and this message appeared
3. Phone stays frozen (with this message on screen) till I press home button for a loooong time - then it turns off
So I simply couldn't even turn the phone on couse there is no way to do it.
Does it mean I didn't receive brand new phone but modified and bricked one? Or does that happen with op6t out of the box?

No, out of the box has a locked bootloader so it doesn't happen by default. This one was unlocked and modified at some point, possibly had a bad flash. Should still be salvageable if you want to keep it.
