I've tried several program (LXCam, CoolCamera, etc.), but I can't get a working webcam for MSN 7.5.
So if everyone else done it on Wizard (or any WM5 device) please send the solution here, because I want to turn my device into a webcam.

As I mentioned above, I've tried some programs, and did search, but nothing is worked. I'm waiting for an expert out there, to read this topic and help us

Hi All,
Its been a mystery to get this working. I just upgraded my Cingular 8125 to the officieal AKU 2.2 Rom from Cingular. Before that i tried a couple of products like V-Mobile Network browser, NetUse, Pockt Hosts etc and nothing helped me access my laptop from my Cingular 8125. Then i was trying out FilePoint Exchange and it works but doesn't allow two way transfer of iles as i wanted. Then i uninstalled it from my Laptop & PDA and BOOOOM.. I could setup File shares using Resco File Explorer and V-Mobile network Brower on my Wizard. I didn't do anything different.
Now after upgrading to the new ROM the sharing no longer works. I have tried the same trick on installing and uninstalling filepoint but of no use. Has anyone been able to get this working.
My laptop has a Default workgroup and using NetUse and V-Mobile Network Explorer i have made that workgroup as the default workgroup of wizard. Also using pockt hosts i have setup the Hostname and IP mapping. Still it doesn't work. Can someone please help me please please please......

Well you need a couple of programs as i mentioned in my 1st post. After that you need to change the settings on your card to "Connect to Work instead of internet". also please be sure there are no proxy settings on your Connection settings. Do add your laptop as a host with hostname & ip mapping. I thik you shouldn't have any problems loking up your laptop with Resco explorer or Netuse.

Hi, My phone (O2 Mini S) connects to my laptop and I can get an IP address, now I want to know can I browse files on my laptop without any 3rd party software? Also is it possible to browse the net, making my laptop as an access point? Thanks.

I have recently picked up an Orange SPV M3100. I installed skype 2.2 on it and tried to run it. The login screen comes fine, but when I click on "Sign in", it gives me a pop up saying "Skype needs an internet connection to function. Do you want Skype to connect to the internet through a cellular connection?"
When I click YES, I get "Unable to connect to the internet. Please check your network settings."
My internet through IE works fine on GPRS. It is good speed and works excellent. I am able to use MSN Live as well, but Skype doesn't seem to be working.
I've been through posts - where there have been suggestions to check the proxy settings. But there are no proxy settings in the mobile.
Anyone who can help me out here?? Most posts discussed how easy it is to connect to Skype using GPRS and how easy this works. I have been trying for quiet some time to no avail.
Alternatively, can someone give me an older version of this Skype for PPC, which might work for me??

SonyEricsson Support says i need rollup3 for my exchange2007 server for this to work. our exchange server is on rollup 5 or 6.
I can sync towards outlook on my computer with USB and activesync. I can sync with my old HTC with windows mobile 5. I can surf to the owa.
Anyone have any idea on how to get this working??

And internet will function via USB.
Surfing the internet is not my problem though. My problem is that i can't sync exchange over the internet. Everything else works fine.
It does connect to the exchange server (if I change my logon info i get other error messages so I know it connects) but it wont sync

Try to delete the PC under manage folders. That have worked for me sometimes after a flash of custom rom, and exchange sync doesnt work.
Try the search function (as well as google as xda)
Problem elated to Exchange, had to do with some check on Exchange-server settings.

I have googled for 2 days before getting the tip on the xperia forums to ask the question here. I have also searched these forums and I have found a total of one (1) solution to this problem (not here, on another forum) which was to delete some folder on the exchange server and recreate it. It didnt work..
I have searched microsoft forums, SonyEricsson forums, HTC forums, I've called support from my provider, SonyEricsson and Microsoft, none of their solutions has worked.
Also, ActiveSync works for everyone else that has older phones and older OS's. It is just the XPeria with wm6.1 that doesnt work. I have an old HTC with wm5 that I can sync the same account with.

I'm having the same issue. Tried 3 different custom ROMs and generic one. No dice.
Can connect with no problems using the Roadsync and Mail-for-exchange clients on my Nokia E71. This appears to be xperia-specific. Will post here if I find a solution. Please do the same. Thx.

I'll try to explain my problem. I have a 8525, I,m using it as a pda and not a phone. I use wifi to connect to internet, works fine. Iam unable to attach anything to email (pics, files, etc), it states that I need java script to attach anything. I understand that the8525 does not support javscript for some reason. I have wm professional 6.0 installed. Am I doing something wrong in the way I attach to e-mail(use hotmail and yahoo), do I really need javascript? Is there a way to attach to email using wifi?

I use Fishtext on my HD2 however I am having some big ass problems with the GRPS setting. I think it is something to do with the JAVA (JBLEND) program.. Can any one help?

does fish text require you to connect to a special server?
have you emailed fish text support? more likely to get an answer from them than from here.

Esmertec Jbed 20081203.2.1.cab works however it does not access the phonebook so you have put in the number manually.
This means its is the JM. Does any have all the latests JM JBLEND, JBED etc etc.
