How to: Original T-Mobile MDA Theme (Wallpaper) - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

See my post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=274211#274211
You'll need both the files in the post: The original (posted by wireless_one): PhoneLight_Skin_TMO_US_1124.CAB, as well as mine: T-MobileTSK.zip (which contains T-Mobile.tsk).
I'm "re" posting this here, as it took me FOREVER to find this!

Signed Keyboard Skins for WM 5.0 & 6.0

Hello everybody
I was looking for the same old KB skins made by Buzz for my new Kaiser... but the problem is these themes won't work unless they are certified
then I cam across cert_KB skin made my Marshall07
http://www.marshallskins.ilbello.com/php5/htdocs/downloads.php#
so with his great help...I managed to certify 15 KB skin...of Buzz's
http://www.buzzdev.net/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=132&func=select&id=13
I tried them on my HTC TyTN II (WM 6.0) and my sister's i-mate PDAL (WM 5.0)
and they works like charm
INSTALLATION:
1. choose your KB skin then copy it to your WM phone
2. install the CAB to your device memory
3. soft rest, and... vol la ..your done
DOWNLOAD:
I have packed the 15 skin (with photos) in one zip file
http://www.4shared.com/file/24268550/9b10ebf1/certified_keyboard_skins.html
USE AT YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY
MANY THANKS TO :
1. Marshall07 for his great help (click the link to learn more about)
http://www.marshallskins.ilbello.com/php5/htdocs/smf/index.php?topic=4.0
does not need to be a rocket scientist to do this thing
2. Buzz for creating these awesome skins
please try and let us know if there are promlem
cheers
Check this package out....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324049
Doesn't include pics, but easier to install...
thanks for the tip ,the package looks pretty sweetmand very user friendly
but mind asking..are these skins signed? or are they ment for nocet ROM only?!
cheers
They were signed using multifilesigner1.0 with SDKSamplePrivDeveloper certificate.
They wouldn't work for me until I signed them.
I don't think BUZZ created these skins, I may be wrong, but the post I found them on has an older date than BUZZ's. here's the link:
http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5519
According to this they were created by BIBI, JUNI, and CHEFZ.
At any rate, thanks to whomever created them.
I found some more skins here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=322329&highlight=keyboard+skins
He said he doesn't know who created them.
and I created one (the ugly yellow one)
they need to be renamed, or added to the zip in my package..
Joe
BTW a similar package with WAIT cursors here:

It's probably best to have folks post link to other resources for the moment so as to allow NRG to collect, review, and organize them in some order. That said, I agree that we shouldn't allow the thread to grow to a point that it contains too many pages.

Inserted some extra posts for you, let me know if you need any more.
Cheers,
I wish I could have found this a few months ago ....
Anyways, here are my two cents on this:
This is a fantastic idea since information is scattered throughout the site when it comes to cooking instructions. There is no single guide on how to do this and most people have different takes on how to do certain things. Having a centralized cooking resource (sub-forum) is by far the best idea I have seen in xda in the last couple of years.
Now, there is one other thing. I know that most of the information posted is for newer devices (meaning any device whose rom extension is nbh. I personally have a Blue Angel, which has roms with extension nbf. Cooking for these devices is a completely different story since porting is different as well. I will add a few links that I found along the way for cooking nbf roms, but if any of you have any good guides about this, please share them
All in all, NRG, you have outdone yourself once again!
Congrats and let me know if I can be of any help!
Dotcompt's EXT collection
Hi guys
Regarding Dotcompt's EXT collection kindly posted by NRGZ28 in the first post:
I have extended these Leaked exts to other devices resolution like HVGA or QVGA instead of WVGA only.
So for a start, I added the HVGA - Photon EXT EastEurope_1.06.479.2_Manila_Core_2_5_20131825_0, and you can find it in the original thread.
I also asked Daveshaw to move this thread from Rhodium sub-forum to the Windows Mobile Development and Hacking > Windows Mobile Software Development forum.
Thanks
Great!!
But can you point me on QVGA version one? i cant find any QVGA in you thread.
Thanks.

Here's a link to the Extendir thread. Even if you don't want to use (I don't use it myself), it's very good reading, and has a lot of great info. The thread itself should probably be moved over to this forum. It might cut down on the noobs who periodically poke their heads in and ask for a .cab.
Hey guys,
Great work going on here, let me know if i can be of some help here, collating, moving and deleting etc.
Cheers and keep it up
Tim.

[FIX] Numbers Showing Instead of Carrier Name

Hi everybody,
Ever since I flashed CM7, I have noticed that my carrier name displays as numbers. I'm on Bell in Vancouver and it always displayed as "302610" instead of "Bell". This was more of an annoyance than anything really. However, I found this helpful post in the Nexus S forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=916738
So I gave it a try and to my surprise, it actually worked. Please try for yourselves.
All credits go to navalynt...Please thank him if this worked for you.
For your reference, I've posted my spn-conf.xml (I had to rename the extension to txt but should be xml) and the row that I inserted into optable.db operator table is:
plmn: 302610
full: Bell
short: Bell
This has worked for me on the latest CM7.1 nightlies and Team ICSSGS RC4.2.
Can you clarify your steps to adding this file? I read the original post but if I download your txt and change it to .bmp where would I place it ?
Thanks

[FTF] D6602 & D6603 & D6606 & D6616 & D6643 FTF Mega Collection

UPDATE!: Its much easier to Put them all in one place instead of copying each individual link (So Many) So For now on All Updated Firmwares, etc will be in the Model Links Below. I`ll still keep the original links up until they go dead. But other wise I`ll be Updating them in the links below this. Its just a LOT easier to do so.
Credits: @hyelton
Now I have nothing to say, but you the good buddies will help this thread, not the I person, to get bigger and of course make for people easier to look for the Z3 FTF files
And also thanks to @gregbradley and @The-Hulk who are this section moderators
You people can link us the Z3 ftf files, but once in a blue moon , I will update this thread and gather all available links, then update the first post
Be aware of the first post, and also look for all Z3 ftf files in this thread
OK 3 things
1. Your OP was a little bit much so i have toned it down a little.
2. This does not belong in Development, it belongs in General where it will be getting moved.
3. This need to have links within 24 hrs, or i will consider this to be a placeholder thread and remove it.
Thanks
