how did you uninstall hard spl in first place...
by putting back original spl
What error you get when you hard spl?
it stays on 0% and never move then it asks me to make a recover
1. Unlock your polaris
2. Than Hard-spl your device
PS: Only use the hard spl in the link provided. Disable your antivirus before procedure.
this might work.
thanks at first
but the first link cant be downloaded
and i think it is just an earlier version of hard spl 2.0
so i think it wont be usefull
From what I've read on a while ago on XDA, if your rom flash progress hangs in the middle of the process, it may be because of the fact that your current radio is too new for your 'old', original rom. You should try to flash an earlier radio before you flash the complete original (6.0?) rom.
And if you get it flash half of your rom, you probably didn't remove HardSPL, but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not that familiar with it.

As I recall, the figures above indicate that you do have the original SPL. You should try to flash an original rom (if you don't have one, i have a dutch one here (wm6.0). If that doesn't work you should try to flash hardspl (hold the camera button while softresetting to enter bootloader) ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351964 ) and then try to flash a newer rom.
Where are you from?
Btw. I forgot to tell you that you need to flash an old radio too if you're going to flash the original rom. (if you don't have one already).
And when you have hardspl on your device, it'd be wise to flash a rom which include a radio.
I'll be away for a couple of hours, so I've put the original (dutch WM6.0) rom (incl. the original spl, but I think (dont know for sure) you need hardspl2.0 just to flash anything.) online here, let me know if your figured it out.
well thank you for all the help
but i am sadly informing it didnt work if the problem is the radio the i just need to flash another one .
it is just i cant or i dont know the right method to flash the necessary radio
would any one please tell how to flash radio from the boot loader when i dont have hard spl
Maybe a stupid question, but why can't you flash hardspl2? And do you have an unlocked device? You don't live in the Netherlands by any chance right?
why I can't flash hard spl 2 ?
actually I don't know
maybe because I am stuck in the boot loader
and sadly I am living in Saudi Arabia so we don't have much programmers around here nor people who have PDA
that's why I can't find someone to help
Can you describe exactly what you do step by step on your pc and pda and how your hardware is connected?
update: and tell me what messages are on your screen and if you get any errors
well first i connect usb so the pda directly starts boot loader (the screen with three colours)
after that whatever (ROMUpdateUtility.exe) i use the installing stops to give me this messege:
the rom update utility has encountered communication errors during the update process . the program will guide you step by step to recover from the errors so you can continue with the update.
this happens with every rom i tried including the har spl exept for the original rom it advance untill 38% then stops and give me the same messege.
if i try the (step by step ) process it ends up the same way .
anyway what i understand that my problem will end once i put (hard spl)
or if flashed another radio all i need to know is how to do either of them from the boot loader.
i have been so needy but sorry for that i am just sad about my pda i like it alot
I dont think it changes anything, but you do keep the camera button pressed while softresetting your device to get into the bootloader?
Usually your device only gets to the bootloader when you do that, but i can imagine that when your rom update failed and the device cannot boot a rom, it stays in the bootloader, but not in flash mode? Worth a try..
Tell me what appear in your PDA screen during boot. I want to know the information on the first screen like below:
R:
G:
D:
These information usually appear on the right bottom corner or your screen when you boot your device.

Need help going back to stock rom -won't relock and now stuck on boot loader -

I have been trying to go back to a stock rom so I can sell my mogul.
I'm trying to follow the directions here.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanStockHome
I got to relocking part and to the point where it tells you to disconnect and reconnect the usb.
I did this but couldn't get the phone to activesync again. I tried going through the rest of steps but ended up getting stuck at the bootloaded screen.
I'm on XP trying to go back to Sprint's 3.35.651.2 (Radio 3.35.04).
I'm currently on one of No2chem's rom.
I have no idea where to go from this point. Any help would be great. Thanks
PLease supply you current radio, rom, and bootloader version
Thanks for your help.
However, I have no idea how to get that information for you.
I'm guessing there's a exit bootloader I need to run???
When the phone first turns on does it go straight to bootloader? What version does the bootloader say?
Yes straight to bootloader.
TITA100
SPL-1.06.0000

at the white part it says Serial then USB when I plug the usb in.
I think you need the 2.xx boot loader for the GPS radio. Try this Relocker:
http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueSPLnueSPL-ReLocker-for-the-HTC-Titan.aspx
Sorry, I'm pretty noob. I need specific steps. lol
Right now, I'm still stuck in the bootloader screen.
What do I do to get out?
Where do I get the 2.xxx bootloader and how do I run it? I'm totally lost now.
Ok, so your stuck in boot loader with a pre-gps boot loader. Download this rom/radio and flash:
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/ImCoKeMaN/roms/Sprint_2.16_OS.nbh
That will bring you back to stock pre-gps rom. Then you should be able to go straight into flashing the official upgrades from Sprint, if you wanted to.
Thanks. I'll try it now.
I'll ya know it it works.
I tried flashing to that rom/gps you gave me. Here are the steps I took:
-Placed file in to RUU folder
-Ran RUU
-Went through the steps and clicked "Update"
-It says it will update to: "Image Verision: Sprint_2.16OS.O
At the updating screen with the % bar it stays at 0. After 1-2 mins it gives me the "ERROR [262]:Update error" then ask for me to go through the steps to recover. I go through the recovery steps and try to flash again and get the same problem.
Error 262 means it is having problems connecting, not sure why. Instead of trying to relock, lets try unlock for now and then go back to relock.
Here is a GPS ROM unlocker. Give this a try and should bring you back to where you started. DO NOT use the relocker you used.
I'll try that out.
After I get back to where I started.. I read somewhere i can just download the exe. file from htc and upgrade without relocking? is that true?
I have flashed the stock Sprint rom with the phone unlocked. The only reason I can see to relock is for warranty reasons. I have shipped phones back to verizon with custom roms, nothing was ever said
You should try to flash this rom. ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/ImCoKeMaN/roms/Sprint_2.17_OS_RUU_signed.rar
You can try putting in ruu but I suggest you flash by sd card. Name .nbh to TITAIMG.nbh. then place on 2gb or smaller sd card and turn on phone. Once bootloader reads card it should say loading start the process.

I made an assumtion here, just wanted to check, you are in bootloader when you try to run ruu, right?
If you still cant't drew is right, but the rom (non-gps) on sd card and it will load.
Yes, I'm in bootloader (the tri-colored screen). I'm still stuck in it.
I tried flashing through SD card as well. Here's what I did just incase.
-Used 1GB card
-Formated FAT32
-Renamed the file here ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Im...RUU_signed.rar to TITAIMG.nbh.
-Moved the file to the card and is the ONLY thing on the card
-Inserted in the phone
NOTHING HAPPENS
The only time I can get it out the bootloader screen is when I'm flashing with the RUU. It goes to the white screen with the % bar but then gets frozen there.
I tried using that Relocker but it wouldn't run.
Please provide your bootloader, rom, and radio version

I don't know what my rom and radio is...
All I know is that I was on one of no2chem's roms. And tried using that "back to stock" wiki guide.
Well I assume you have a gps rom with a nongps bootloader. You need a bootloader version of 2.xx. Please list your carrier. Also radio and rom versions are listed on bottom right of screen when you turn it on.
It goes straight to bootloader when i turn it on so I can't tell whar rom it is.
I was using sprint but I have cancelled my service.

HD2 stuck at the HTC boot screen

Hello, I have some problems with my mob.phone HTC HD2: after using Flash mobile stop working, then I tried install windows and tried turn on first time and my phone shows white screan with name HTC and don`t work at all, then i tried reset and Hard reset all setings and turn on again and than screan appears again with name HTC.
When i conect my phone to pc by usb, so my pc can`t find that phone.
Can you help me with this problem.
Thank you.
you should get your stock rom, ONLY your stock rom, extract the file ruu_signed.nbh
copy that file to your sd card formatted to fat 32 rename the file to leoimg.nbh
phone off
hold volume down
tap power (keep volume held)
phone should boot to three colors screen and start to flash.
this will ONLY work with original rom.
Thanks for Help.
Same problem......
I am also stuck in the white HTC screen, (R 2.06.51.07 G 15.30.50.07U D 1.66.76641). I can flash from SD card and so i tried, using the image in the latest official RRU, no way, it doesn't fix the problem.
I didnt try any unofficial rom, i just updated to the latest rom from HTC, it worked fine. The problem occurs after i had to restart the phone while trying to connect to a xifi AP...
Any idea what i should try now ?
Thanks. You saved my day.

OMG! Thank you so much! I love you!!!!!! I was stuck on boot because my flash failed and i followed your instructions and now i can flash again!!! i was so worried and if it weren't for you i would be screwed. Really you are a HUGE help! Keep the good work up
how long did you guys have to wait till the htc rebooted after that flash? cause ive been waiting for over 30 minutes and i thought i made that wrong.
Note: ive used HSPL fist, then flashed it with energyleo.23547, but energyleo kept stuck in bootloader
now im pretty afraid of loosing manufactors warranty ...
well lads, pay attention: ive fixed that my problem all by myself. HINT: ive kept holding the buttons for to long, so the device got stock while starting up. so dont press the voldown-button for too long, maybe only for 2 seconds!
hard reset
Remember boys and girls - if you get stuck on the bootloader you can also do the following:
1. Remove the battery to turn the phone off, leave 3 seconds
2. Replace battery and hold down the vol down button and turn on your device to get into the bootloader
3. It should say 'serial'. Plug your USB cable in and it'll change to 'USB'
4. Flash your stock ROM as normal using ActiveSync method. This will also reinstall the SPL (in the case of people who can't get past the first white HTC screen). I did this after the first (and only) time I tried to do it the SD card method. Put my stock SPL back on my phone

im pretty sure that flashing over usb won't do the spl. only sd card flashing can touch the spl.
When I tried to flash (after installing HSPL) using the sd card method and it bricked I went into the bootloader and it put my stock SPL back on - hence why I said if the sd card fails

I'd be inclined to suspect that In your case the spl was flashed during the failed sd card flash, so was already stock spl when you then flashed the stock rom over usb.(which of course being stock doesn't need hspl )
Hi Guys
I'm having the same problem, however, I bought the phone second hand. My question is how do I find out what my stock ROM is?
cheers

you download HSPL, run it, and if your spl is anything else than 1.42 it will give out an error and no harm is done
Hey
Thanks for replying. Do I get the stock ROM from the HTC website, is there a way to get it as a .nbh file as I am currently on a mac.
thanks

White Screen and HTC logo
I have found a similar problem, I flashed the HSPL rom following the instructions to the letter in the NOOB section.
Restarted my HTC HD2 having hard reset, and it would start and begin the installation and setup, once the setup completes, the software requests a soft reset, at this point my phone hangs on the white boot up screen with the HTC logo.
What am I doing wrong?
Stuck on White HTC Screen after ROM update
Why is it that, having run the HSPL update on my HD2 and checked that its successful, does my phone hang on the white HTC boot screen when it reboots after setup.
I have installed the energy rom, the most recent version. It still hangs at the boot after the rom does the soft reset...
Help please?

[Q] HD2 Android install - radio flashing question

Hi there
Im struggling with my flashing ... oo er
Im following the guide to flash android to the hd2
I followed step one with hspl and got the We've hacked it message
Next stage is radio flash via Custom RUU
I run the RUU and the install hits 100% (only takes about 30seconds to flash not the ten minutes stated on the dialogue screen on the pc)
the problem is the phone reboots to the white screen with Green HTC logo and freezes at this point. It doesnt run a full reboot.
When I try to reflash the RUU fails.
Could this be a faulty radio image? If so can some one post a link to a mirror for the best radio for the HD2?
I will try the other suggestions of different usb ports etc.
BTW I am using the latest Win mobile Center and have the RUU running as administrater.
Many thanks

Hmmm, few questions........
What kind of HD2 do you have.. US, European??
What radio do you currently have?
What radio are you trying to flash?
Can you get to bootloader (3 coloured screen) by turning on while holding vol. down?

Can you enter Bootloader Mode and verify that your HardSPL install completed successfully and that you now have SPL-2.08.HSPL on the second line.
If that is ok then try flashing the Radio using the SD Card method as stated in my flashing guide (renaming the nbh file to LEOIMG.nbh copy to the root of your storage card and reboot into bootloader mode).
Mark.
Im confused now - I did the update again after flashing a stock rom via the sd card method. The radio updated and the rom started the self set up sequence.
I removed the battery - re ran hspl loaded fine,
confirmed its installed rebooted fine to rom rom.
powered off back into boot loader ran custom ruu - the progress bar ran to 100%. Phone rebooted and again is stuck at the green htc logo on the white backgroud with no radio details in the bottom left hand corner?
I re downloaded the file for the radio so ts wasnt corrupted.
Ill try the leoimg.nbh method see if that works.
WELL Thanks to the replies and starting AGAIN from scratch and updating the radio the sd card way Ive gotten it all working.
thanks for all the info.
Sometimes a little patience and a fresh pair of eyes so to speak - works wonders

What radio? Cos the symptoms sound like what happens when you load a 51 radio with a 576 enabled rom.... ie it hangs at RGD info screen without any RGD info showing.

again and again bootloader

is there any 1 who have that issue?
i tried to search but cant find
i tried to back my hd2 from windows mobile 7 to 6.5.was have latest MAGLDR
then i flashed a rom
now problem
tried through usb,sd card, used a task 29 rom ,not real procedure of task 29
then again installed rom through card, tried almost 4 stock roms
but cant boot my hd2
still again bootloader
Have wired problem
any 1 have that issue?
Let me attempt to translate:
You had a WP7 ROM flashed on your rig then flashed a WM6.5 ROM and now you cannot flash anything via HSPL?
i can flash but after 100% done.i restart my phone its again goes bootloader
Like Orangekid I am a little unsure of your issue. Are you saying your HD2 keeps booting up into bootloader everytime you power it on? Or that you can not get a ROM to flash via SD card?
Edit: I just saw your other post have you checked toto see if your volume down button is stuck?
nop its not
so you get a successful flash then it goes to the bootloader or to MAGLDR?
Are you saying that you flash an Android or WP7 ROM then it goes back to to the MAGLDR screen or are you saying you flash a WM6.5 ROM and it goes back to the tri-color on each reboot?
That's weird if it tells you it flashes ok. Have you tried flashing stock WM6.5 via SD?
As far ass I know your volume down button being stuck or your bootloader being corrupted is the only thing that will cause hour HD2 to boot straight into bootloader.
Are you sure you mean it boots to the red, green, blue, and white bootloader screen not just to the HTC or Stick Together screen depending on your model HD2?

Hey yousufshah I talked to connexion2005 on the phone and we talked for a good while but he and I bothcthink youchave a bad block or two in your NAND chip as hechas tried literally everything and can not get it to boot up into the ROM, it just boots straight to the bootloader. He has JTAGed it multipule times and can get a ROM to flash via SD card bit still it boots into bootloader. He can not get a USB connection with the phone what so ever and I believe he said it is not even charging when he plugs it into the charger. I am very sorry t say this but your best options arecto replacecthe main board or just buycanother HD2. I promise you connexion2005 has tried his hardest to get your HD2 to work again. I am very sorry friend.
