I've just received 2 x 2GB "ADATA MyFlash" cards from a USA seller on eBay - cost was £68.50 each delivered, now that's a bargain
I can confirm that they both work great on the HTC Universal (tested on my MDA PRO). This device is just awesome now, with 2GB of storage

Cheapest 1,2 and 4Gb SD cards in UK, where to buy?

Going to need to buy an SD card for my Exec soon, anyone have recommendations? From reading the forum I think the HighSpeed cards are no better in the Universal than standard cards. The speed only helps when used in a card reader on the PC, so the cheapest standard card is what I am looking for?
Merry Christmas to you all
I use: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/
No VAT!

Cheap....based in Bolton...
I just bought a Transcend 4GB SD Card from :
http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=17231&ft=D
Great product at a great price.
Arrived yesturday works great with my XDA EXEC with no problems.
should have bought it from ebay, 4gb for 150 uk pounds
Not really, the best deal I found on ebay for a Transcend 4GB was £168 including delivery from USA.
From OraLogic I got it for £174.50 + VAT including free std delivery.
As this was a corporate purchase I can claim the VAT back , so for £5.00 more I get to buy from a UK company a product with a warranty that is covered in the UK. Not to mention the quicker delivery as its local compared to coming from USA.
If you are referring to the Adata 4GB cards on ebay, I have three friends who bought those and 2 out of 3 of them have problems with using them with their XDA Exec's.
better split your sd card into 2gb+2gb.rather than buy a whole 4gb.
just for precaution and separate into 2 sd card more easy.for example 1 for data and program and another for music, photo, etc.
Best I can find without going via ebay is at Novatech, 1Gb SD for £31.41+vat, find it here...

Lucky for me its only down the road so I don't even have to pay for shipping, but if anyone finds better please post here, thanks

Nice buys

Cheapest place for 2gb minisd plus card reader

Im looking for something like this...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOPRAM-2gb-mi...9QQihZ011QQcategoryZ96991QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Preferably with the card reader to be able to attach to a key ring like a memory stick.
Thanks!
Seems reasonable, so why dont you buy it ?
yeah..... it is cheap.... (even the price listed is less than the postal charges .... but when the bid closes will be knowing what the final price!....)
For those in the US
I got in on this deal over the holiday weekend with free shipping. Ground shipping will add about $6 to the order. Still not a bad deal for 2Gb. I paid $69.99 plus shipping not that long ago for a Sandisc 2Gb card that I managed to lose in a drunken birthday celebration. This is an 80x replacement that holds its own against the Sandisc card.
http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4858780
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820233032 is what I got...I know it is a 1GB, but you can check for the 2GB ones on newegg's website...they also have cheap 9/10 in one readers there.[/url]
I use pricegrabber.com to compare prices across a variety of sites.
Do you really think thats a good price? I was hoping to sneak one for like £20 off ebay but I think I may be dreaming.
Im really after the card ready that will fit onto my key ring but cant find any anywhere :-(
Does anyone know when the new size cards will be out?
Did anyone notice the $46 shipping fee to the U.S., slightly less to U.K.? This could mark a new record for price gouging for shipping on Ebay.
...
Chris - if I was you I would stay clear of cheap mini-sd cards. If you read the posts where the card goes wrong its usually the cheap variety! I use mobymemory 2gb card - £40 but worth it! I can record 320 x 240 video using coolcamera with no slowdown compared to main memory - now that rocks!
Are Sandisk cards okay?
I have a 1gb one and havent had any troubles

ya I've had good experience with the SanDisk cards. I bought a Corsair Card this time around. It was a tad bit more...but I felt it was worth it considering the cost of this phone.

Think it's just a shade over £40 for sandisk 2gb + usb 2.0 reader, that's what I ordered just recently

Got 8gb Sandisk SDHC card today - SUCCESS!!

Ok no test yet, but bought a new sandisk 8gb class 4 SDHC card (RETAIL) came with packaging (Bought retail cos i wanted to be sure i got the good stuff)
Put it into the Kaiser, did a soft reboot and and clicked on settings >>Memory>>Storage Card - it says 7782.47MB free!
Wahaaay! Looks like ive got myself 8gb of storage for mp3's, movies and files for my kaiser now!
I will copy over some songs during the weekend and give a final update on how its going, but from first looks, its brilliant!!
Very excited to have so much more storage space on my lovely kaiser!
For those that want to know i bought at the ebay link below, but you can buy this card anywhere and it should work alright.
The ebay guy took a week to post it, and you might get it quicker elsewhere.

PS just noticed this one on ebay for under £30 delivered - i might have been tempted!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ADATA-8GB-SD-...ryZ98876QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i've dealt with them in the past, they just kept giving me BS, when they had no item in stock, had to file a complaint on paypal to get a refund from these guys, and i won .

That's a standard SD, it won't work in your phone. I got one of those (except made by OCZ - 8gb/Class6) a few months back for around $40/shipped (USD).

Which one wont work? The San Disk one? Or the cheesy looking AData one?
the sandisk one will work, the other adata wont work since its not a microSD.
£44 inc delivery
£44 from a store with an apparently good reputation: http://www.modaco.com/content/Windows-Mobile-News/263088/8GB-microSDHC-reader-44-41-DELIVERED/

I read on eBay reviews that if it did not have the SanDisk hologram then it is not authentic/authorized for sale.
How true is that?
I previously purchased some SanDisk flashdrives on eBay and they looked and felt genuine...
Yesterday Im buy SanDisc microSDHC 8GB and work ok with my HTC Tytn II...

Looking for cheap microSDHC

Hey guys, anyone know where to get cheap microSDHC? I bought a 4gb one for $15 including shipping but have lost it and they don't sell it for that anymore. Any help? Anyone got a used one that wants to upgrade and willing to let go for cheap?

Ebay or Amazon
http://www.ecost.com/
Yeah I would try ebay but I am tired of the fake memory cards that they are selling all the time. Even from Ebayer's who have almost 100% feedback and tens of thousands of feedback, I still received fake memory cards. This is because people don't know it is fake until they fill their memory cards up later and it doesn't work. I recently bought a 2GB memorystick pro duo and it could only hold 1GB and then the whole card became corrupted when I filled it past 1GB.
look no further then here:

give "kms108" a PM and he will set you up ... cheap ( very cheap compared to what's out there ), brand names ( not fake .... and fast shipping.
I'm currently waiting for larger capacity and will also order from him ( already got 2 x 8GB MicroSD from him ... happy customer
