network connections: now I see them, now I don't

Please help:
When I go into start-settings-connections-commections all my list of network connections are there, including my ISP connection
when I go to my inbox and ask it to get my mail it dumps the current connection (if there is one), then tells me there are no connections available in a message bubble. if I select the 'settings' link from the bubble it takes me to the connections page which is now empty!!
the connections are still there when I go to the connections page via the start menu!
Any ideas what is going on???
also: how do I stop inbox from dumping the current connection and using it instead??

HI, I have the same problem. I made the same changes and still does not work.
My current config I can use terminal services to connect to my other machines, but when I open internet explorer it says connection was lost and to re connect.
Is this a bug or is there another setting I need to make.
I set both to " My work Network "
Thanks in advance..

O2 Mini - Removing access to Bluetooth and Wifi

Hi
I've been looking through the forums and can find plenty to solve bluetooth transfer problems, but I am after the opposite. I am trying to lock out access to the following, but can't find anything on the web (unless I have missed it).
Comm Manager (icon on PPC Desktop)
Bluetooth (from Settings -> Connections menu too)
Wi-Fi (from Settings -> Connections menu too)
MMS - if this is possible
PocketMSN
Beam (from Settings -> Connections menu)
Wireless LAN (from Settings -> Connections menu)
Also, if possible, does anyone know how to hide the shortcut for the 'Clear Storage' option, or hiding the passcode it asks for so you still have to enter it, but it doesn't tell you what to enter?
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

I need help to update weather

My Jade uses, if available, WiFi. Did you set up your WiFi with encryption key etc properly on your Jade? Should use this, if activated...

Connect with ActivSync. That will do the trick.
You could use nodata to block gprs, just see your other thread about GoogleMaps.
And make sure your connections are set up properly....
start -> settings -> connections (tab) -> connections -> advanced (tab) -> select networks -> both options should be set to 'my work network'.
Go back to connections tab -> advanced network -> disable HSDPA
go to text service tab(or sms tab) -> text message through GSM
Now you've disabled all GPRS data traffic, set up your wifi connection and you should be good to go.
Mine doesn't seem to like wifi networks. It connects to them ok but then email and opera won't work.
If I connect via my service provider using 3G everything works fine.
I don't mind this as my contract includes 500mb of data per month and I don't use it online that much as I still find it easier using a PC if I'm at home or in the office.
I also find that if I have unique switched on to search for wifi networks it kills the battery life so I don't have it enabled.
I'm sure you will be able to get it to work, I just haven't botherd due to the reasons above.
