Answer the phone on speaker....? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Is it possible to answer the phone on speaker with one button ranther than answer then hit speaker.
I was looking for something like mapping the "Answer" softkey key, not the green handset button, to "Speaker". I think the answer button is worthless as it is just above the pickup button so these 2 buttons do the same job.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for thinking

Couldn't you press green to answer, then hold green to enable speaker?
1 key, 1.5 clicks? 25% saving!

Loudspeak, is it a dumb question?

does the magician have loudspeak? and if so how do i enable it.
its the only function i really miss from my old handset.
Yes it does.
To activate it, press the green phone button for about three seconds. The hard buttin on the casing, not the soft button on the screen.
The time to press it is anytime after intiating a call, before of after the person at the other end answers.
bonus, so it does
many thanks!

read wiki ... you need a hardreset!
Press Camera and Voice Dail buttons (hold them). Put and hold the stylus in reset button for 2 seconds. Release it. Wait until you see some white fonts on black screen. Then release those 2 buttons. Push the green dial button.

Phone usage question

If I need to press a key during phone call (e.g. do delete a voicemail, I need to press 7), how do I do that? My screen turns off when I talk.
Thanks

When I talk, the screen turns off. Pressing home button does not turn it on. Is there a setting to turn the screen on if the home button is pressed?
during a call just press the power button on top and your hd goes on.

Please switch off your light sensor. I have just fixed the same problem, using HD Tweak utility. I have just posted details in my posting please seach posts by avaion99, you find the solution.
Even though I do not have the HD, I find that useful, since I usually move around when I am on the phone, and I do not want to press anything I do not want to press. Its the same on the iPhone, you press the power to snap it back on. Its just hard to get used to the first couple of days.

Turn on Screen button

Is there any way to change the key to turn on the screen? The Power button is on the top and I bet most people hold the bottom of the phone, I can't reach the top button with one hand....
Thanks,

You can try mapping it with this program.
I haven't tested on power button though.
Although it would work if I map the 'END' button to "screen power toggle". I also lost the End funtion....
Do you guys use two hands to turn on the screen everytime you use? I was so used to My Treo Pro that I can use the END key to turn on the screen...
Thanks,
First, there's a never version of keyboardcontrol.
Second, you have to set end key normal standard and e.g. longpress to turn on.

red button.

please anybody knows how to disactivate thescreensaver ?
i mean that in other phones if i want to stop the phonecall i press the red button.
to be sure that the phonecall stops i press the red button many times.i cant do this on my hd2 because if i press the red botton twice the screensaver starts and mayby the phonecall runs behide.
sorry for my english.

Well, simply don't, once is enough
Ok. But sometimes i press once but the phonecall still run on the backround, then i press again the red button and the screen become black...and then i hear the voise "hello-hello"from the person i was talking.that means that i cant bee sure that the phonecall stops.is this happens to you?is it any idea to fix the red button to stop the phonecalls only, and nothing alse?????
Thank you.
Nope, don't have that. And no it can't be changed, the red button is the one and only "power" key for the device.
Just use the onscreen hangup button...
