call get disconnected - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

a few minutes during a call i always get disconnected because the signal resets itself. what seems to be causing this? my only solution if this happen is to soft reset the device and viola everythin works well, for a while. what seems to be causing this? is it because of the speed of the device?

Weird MDA2 Problem - Hangs but Phone still semi-operational.

I have not experienced this problem until last week. The MDA2 just hangs in between tasks, when idle, or when in suspend mode, but I can still see the green signal led blinking. I can actually call the phone but don't hear it ringing nor can answer it. What I have discovered is that it last a bit longer if I keep the phone application on the foreground. But still it will hang eventually. :x
I tried to hard reset it and use factory defaults but same thing happens, I even tried some other SIM cards, same results, I even tried using it without any SD memory... same thing....
Any ideas?
Somebody recommend me to install a newer firmware, but how come it was working fine and all of a sudden it developed this problem? I don't belive the problem is that it's a Microsoft OS, since even a hard reset does not clear the problem... :?:
Thanks!

Qtek phone stops working

My Qtek 9100 will go to sleep and then the phone portion will not wake up. Happens especially when I am in a bad reception area but is not cured when I go back to a good reception area. Only solution is to reboot and it works fine. I did a hard reset and I am having the same problem so I do not believe it is due to any software I am using. I am using it with a Cingular SIM.
Any ideas?
Instead of soft resetting, try switching flight mode on, wait a few seconds and turn it off. Many folks have found this beats doing the soft reset. Inshallah they'll fix this with a ROM update.
I tried that and it does not seem to fix the problem reliably.
mine was doing the exact same thing. i found that if i went to start and then chose "phone" or by pressing the send button, I got my service back. I noticed this especially after using a program that closes all apps. when the "phone" app closed then no service.

No more vibrations!

My bloody phone stopped vibrating, I can still hear something moving inside my phone when I should have haptical feedback, but no vibrations or whatso-ever...:S, not on start up, not when someone calls me, never! Very annoying, very ****ed up! Is there anything I could try exept turning my phone in @ the VF-shop?Anyone else having this problem?
Have you tried a Hard reset to see if that sorts it?
yes, I already tried rebooting, rebooting whilst taking out the battery, and I already flashed the 1.72 ROM again, nothing worked so far, so it ain't the software that's broken...probably hardware issue....
do you play games a lot? use the motor a lot?

MAJOR problem - phone restarting every 10 seconds!

Hi guys,
this is my first time using these forums and I wouldn't have done that if the problem was easily solvable. However, this is a major problem for me and I couldn't find a thread nor a solution to it, so I'll post it here.
I have the i9305 4G version of the S3. I have had it for about a month now, and it worked fine, up until now. The phone suddenly starts to restart itself (not reboot!) for about 10 seconds, then goes back to the dashboard.
The problem seems to be the WiFi. Right after I get the "Connected to ... network" message on the bottom of the screen, the phone vibrates immensely once, then everything freezes for a few seconds, then another 2-3 vibrations, before the Samsung logo comes up with the LED light on. After a few seconds again I'm back in the dashboard until I get the "Connected to ..." message, and so on the process repeats itself.
Turning off WiFi seems to solve the issue, but once I turn it on again the problem reoccurs.
Something else I've noticed is that if I have WiFi turned off and cellular data network (for instance 4G) turned on, the "4G", "H+" etc. logo does not appear, even though I'm connected to cellular data! Don't know if it can be related to my main problem.
I have tried everything I'm aware of. Unplugging the battery, factory reset and back up, hard reset, wipe cache pertition. After the factory reset I can use WiFi again, but only for a few hours until the problem reoccured. I THINK once my battery is fully charged the problem occurs.
Note: I haven't even touched stock ROM, kernel etc. Nothing is flashed. Phone is in the same condition as when it came out of the box. Android version: JB 4.1.1
I would be forever grateful if you could help me out here, I can't have a phone restarting itself and vibrating like crazy every 10-15 seconds.
(Sorry in advance if this was the wrong place for this thread.)

UPDATE:
Seems like my issue isn't just related to Wifi. Cellular data network was actually related to my issue, as I first feared. If Wifi is turned off and cellular data turned on, the same thing happens. Seems like the issue occurs every time I try to use the internet either way.
Anyhow, if I let the phone reboot itself without turning on or off anything at all, it will reboot about 5 times until either Wifi or cellular doesn't work anymore even though the status bar tells me that it is turned on!
This seems to be a serious connectivity issue and for the first time I'm suspecting interference with the phone's wireless network hardware. If none of you are able to provider an answer, I guess I have no choice but to hand it in to get it repaired or replaced.
Still noone who has a solution to my problem?

My solution to your problem would be to just bring it to whoever you bought it from and demand a replacement. That isn't normal behaviour.
you can boot into recovery and do a factory reset and cache wipe
if wiping does not solve your problem, just return your phone.
I don't know if this is related, but, I had this issue once (the cause is not wifi though), and samsung fixed (or replaced) my phone.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I'd wipe the phone and return it. This is not normal behaviour and should fall under warranty... Wiping might fix but this may happen again if there is an inherent problem with your handset....

out of service at random time

a lot of time i can't make calls or receive calls till restart my device, i have android 7.1.2 with Nexus 4. is there any solution for this issue
is it happen because Android version or there are other workaround to solve it
Same here. When the battery gets low or after returning from a low coverage area, the network signal randomly keeps disconnecting. On 7.1.2 lineage.
Similar issue here. The PIN screen appears at random times because of service loss. After entering the PIN the screen reappears after ~20 seconds. Sometimes it finds a connection, sometimes I can re-enter the PIN endlessly without success.
Did a wipe and installed the latest stock firmware but the issue remained, so it must be a hardware fault.
I disassembled the phone, removed the mainboard to have access and clean all contacts - especially the antenna and the ones in the SIM tray - and checked the flex cable connectors. The service is good right now and as a bonus the power button works well again. Let's see how it continues.
