1800 mhz GSM Band Missing

I am planning on going to a GSM 1800 country soon but I only have GSM 900 & 1900 (what i'm on now) listed as choices. Is that because of my current SIM card or is there a problem with my phone?
Thanks,
Daniel
Here a file to enable the band selection.
How do I run this?
It worked-
Thanks!!
I go to the States in August. Work the Magician in the USA ?
Thanks
Depends but most probably:
If you are going to be roaming with your current SIM card then find out which network you will be roaming on- if it's T-Mobile you will be fine because all the Magicians can work on he 1900mhz band- which T-mobile is. Cingular/ATT mostly is 1900mhz also but some rural areas operate on the 850mhz band- either way you should be fine, but find out who's service you will be on to be sure.

Thanks !
I use Proximus from belgium.
by the way, how u know gsm 1800 band missing? how u check it?
in the phone: Tools | Options and the tab Band is missing.
I have the band option, but I can only choose:
GSM 900 (europe)
GSM 1900 (North America)
Even after running the program in the second post.

Hrb, what kind of Magician do you have?
I'm talking about a T-Mobile MDA Compact with a standard Rom WWE 1.10
And as told: I do have the Band Tab, but I can only select:
GSM 900 (Europe)
GSM 1900 (North America)
And Cong and Castiwo, have you ran the program and softreset the Magician?
I don't know how to run the program, that is the problem

Hi all,
I was wondering if any body knows how to find out which version is my Jam is it 850mHz version or the 900mhz version?
Is it possible to switch between these two versions?
I am cingular usa network...
Thanks
I can't believe nobody knows the answer...
Welll I figured it out... But now I want to download the 1.10 radio rom but for some reason the explorer gives an error when I try to download it (I am logged in)
Can somebody send the radio to me so I can try to switch from 900Mhz to 850Mhz
FYI.. I am told there were three hardware models of JAMs.
PM10A = 900 and 1800MHz
PM10B = 900 and 1900MHz
PM10C = 850 and 1900MHz (North American version, aka JAM 850)

HTC Touch 3G T3232 WCDMA network - HELP!

Hi,
PLEEEEASE SOMEONE REPLY... OR HAVE I POSTED IT TO A WRONG FORUM.... Should I have posted it to The ROM Developers forum so someone can HELP
I am new to this forum.
I bought a HTC T3232 in Asia with HSDPA/WCDMA network supporting 900/2100 MHz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE supporting 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
I want to use the phone in Canada on the Bell HSPA network but unfortunately Bell supports only HSPA/WCDMA 850/1900 MHz
I read somewhere there is a way to unlock all the 4 frequencies on the phone for WCDMA by doing some ROM upgrade or changing some radio button, but I did not get any more info on that.
Please reply - anyone who knows how to open up all frequencies on this phone for HSPA/WCDMA
Details of my Jade can be found on the attachments (photos)

[Q] Change from UMTS 900 --> 850

HI Guys,
did a bit of a search, but couldn't come up with too much. I;'m in australia, and have a mate who imported a UMTS 900 DVP. He now wants to change operators to Telstra.
Their "Next G" network is 850. Is there any way to hack it, or even flash with an 850 UMTS version of the ROM?
Cheers
Mike
Nope.
