i bought a mda compact , an sucessfully unlocked it with software from your ftp...ty.... So i upgraded this morning to a MDA Compact II, model no. pm200 and tried to unlock with the same tool , and it says device not recognised pm200.
i know its running windows mobile 5, any help to free the simlock would be greatfully recieved , all the best , oblivious. :lol: :twisted:

follow these instructions:
1 - Unzip lokiwiz.zip to somewhere in your computer
2 - Copy EnableRapi.cab to your Charmer / PM200
3 - Execute the EnableRapi.cab in your phone. Wait for it to finish
4 - Guarantee that your phone is connected via ActiveSync with the computer
5 - Execute lokiwiz.bat and follow the instructions on your screen...

the Phone will remain unlocked. If you want to re-lock your phone, the same tool will do the job.

Hello. I had problem with my Mda Compact II T-Mobile UK. After I input Pin ti told that: Data Crashed conntact Your Service. I went to imei-check.co.uk and payed 20 GBP and in 5 minutes my Mda Works as a new one. Its the best way to solve this problem and problem with simlock too. Best regards !!!
A lot of people have unlocked their Charmer with out any problem. And there are at least two (including myself) who has flashed the Charmer ROM as well. Good if you can list out your specification and procedure that you have used that messed up your Charmer.
Usually, when you have the error message "Data Crashed conntact Your Service Provider", it means that the IMEI area has been messed up. And, the only solution to this problem seem to be to go to the imei-check.co.uk

I have just got a Tmobile MDA Compact 2.
I cannot unlock it though.
I have tried V0.1 and V0.2b.
When my simcard (O2) is in the phone, it just asks you to enter the unlock code, and won't let you access any menus.
So I remove the SIM, install the EnableRapi.cab and then insert the Sim card. And click lokiwiz.bat on the PC whilst Activesync is running, I select U (have tried C aswell on V0.2b) and it doesn't show any errors, the phone resets, but the lock is still present.
Does anyone have any ideas ???
Unlock not working on my Charmer
Hi Guys!
I have followed the instructions carefully und copied the file EnableRapi.cab to my charmer, executed it there, made sure that Charmer is connected via ActiveSync, opened the file lokiwiz.bat on my PC, and waited until Charmer rebooted!
After reboot I inserted my SIM Card and the Result was a window that asked me after typing in my PIN for a Network Code!
I have tried all the Versions on the Unlock page, none worked! I have deactivated my AntiVirus Programms and Firewalls!
My Charmer is (still) locked from T-Mobile Austria! All I receive on my PC in the same Folder is an Output File called "Unlocked" which I cannot open with a program on my PC!
Thank you very much in advance for your help as otherwise I have to unlock it via Internet and this would cost me 30 BP!

lokiwiz probably wont work on AKU2 roms because the OS is more protected. check your versions, Windows Build 14847.2.0.0 is AKU2.

I used Lokiwiz03 yesterday with my Charmer. The Charmer is the german MDA Compact II with T-Mobile Netlock. It takes only some minutes. It was very easy to use-no problems.

Ok, now the instructions...
1 - Unzip lokiwiz.zip to somewhere in your computer
2 - Copy EnableRapi.cab to your Wizard
3 - Execute the EnableRapi.cab in your phone. Wait for it to finish
4 - Guarantee that your phone is connected via activesync with the computer
5 - Execute lokiwiz.bat (on your computer! My inbox is filled with this kind of error) and follow the instructions on your screen...
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q - Will it hard-reset my device?
A - No. It will do a soft reset at the end of the process for applying the changes
Q - I locked my device and now it shows only the SIM Lock window
A - Get your phone showing the SIMLock window. Connect it via activesync. Use the tool to unlock your phone.
Q - Why does a r2sd backup doesn't mantain the unlocking info?
A - r2sd makes a backup of the rom. The unlocking info is stored in the Disk-on-chip, a different memory space altogether.
Q - How about the CID unlock tool? (for using any type of roms)
A - Integrated on Version 0.2.
Q - I'm having problems with Unlocker not connecting to the phone
A - Disable all kinds of Antivirus, Firewalls and similar applications before running Lokiwiz.

Hi,
MDA Pro will not work with this unlocker. It has a different architecture. While Wizard is very similar to a Typhoon Smartphone, Universal is something different.
I would not recomend to try it in a Universal, although it should do anything bad...

No it won't...
I'm still waiting for a few "success" posts before I try it on my vario, but wondered, does this do everything that imei-check does, i.e does it SIM unlock your phone as well as unlock the bootloader?

cut paste it onto your mda sd then file explore sd card tap the programe
it took a couple of goes to work if you get a code error the code is "0000" there is a post on it in mda upgrades

put another network simcard in the mda pro and enter the 8 unlock given to you buy t-mobile (if they have given you a 10 digit unlock code you have to skip the first to zero's)
then you have to wait for the mda pro to timeout (takes a few mins)
once it has timed out click ok

I have tried unlocking with Lokiwiz 1, 2 a,b, 3 and 3a. None of these programs worked well. I have followed al the instructions and copied the .cab to my device. I have installed the latest version of activesync. I have placed all the files on my c: and executed the .bat file.
I am running WM5, but this should not be a problem i geuss?

This is is what happens
Am i stupid or what I only got the Vario for a few days, and i immediatly put the new rom over it (2.21). That rom causes the CID from getting unlocked.
Are their people working on that for as far as we know?

now the card reader is gone to hell and i need to bring the mda compact ii to the t-mobile service
so how can i reactivate the netlock before getting the device serviced ???

Well, it depends if you are a tidy person
If you haven't remove your lokiwiz directory, you should have the file 'lock_backup.bin' in the directory, that is approx 65K in size. You can use this file (with lokiwiz) to lock your phone back.
BTW, on the bright side, I don't think they will check your SIM lock. Ironically they asked you to send it back to Tmobile. For my case, they just asked to contact HTC directly.[/quote]

i have found the lock_backup.bin on hdd
in the utils folder of lokiwiz is only pdocread util - so how can i use the lock_backup to flash back to the phone ???
BTW i do not think either that they will check the simlock, but sure is sure ?!?
you should have the Lokiwiz.bat in your lokiwiz directory. You need to run the EnableRapi.cab in your phone, and then run lokiwiz. You will have a 'Lock' option when you run the lokiwiz.bat file. It will use the lock_backup.bin in the directory to lock your phone back. I've done that before.

look on the wiki m8, just unlocked one today. copy the two cabs to the device and then run the batch file. Do all this without sim card in, and up pops the code - brill! Insert sim and it will ask for code twice - job done!
