Speed dial - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

Is there a way to start dialing a speed dial number directly from my application? I'm trying to send service codes to the network...

HELP WITH DIALING OPTIONS!!!

I have a friend in Brazil who just bought a Magician and he's having some problems with it. Basically, all his contacts in Outlook have the following format: +55 11 3333-3333 (country code, city code, number). When he tries to call anybody from his contact list the network doesn't complete the call because the phone is dialing the country code and the city code and the network (TIM Brasil) apparently only accepts local calls if you dial only the number, without city code or country code. He told me he tried changing the dialing rules and changing the regional settings but nothing seemed to work.
Anybody have a clue about a solution?
Thanks
M.

[APP]Voip calls not over 3G

Hi,
I'm using often companies like justvoip or voipcheap to call abroad. First you call a landline number in UK and then you type in the number you want to call. For example first you dial 01617002727, then you dial 007123456789#. Would it be possible to dial the number from contacts and it would automaticaly dial 01617002727 before? Thanks in advance
best regards
you can try to use FRING, i'm just use this software with voipbuster and voipcheap and i call the contact directly from my sim card without type any other number before
Fring doesn't work without the internet connection. Do you use voipcheap over 3G or you dial a local landline number?
best regards
i use frig over 3g and over wi-fi
MagiCall will do it.
I've tried magicall but it doesn't work. Probably it has to wait until you hear "welcome bla bla" before you dial the number
Maby you can use WM client sip solution, but it works only on speaker.
I use it to connect via 3G to my Asterix Pbx from home.
I think you can find a cab somewhere , but be careful to take the one witch doesn't affect your gps.
You might be able to add 01617002727p007123456789# or 01617002727,007123456789# in your contacts where the p is a pause.
magicalls works perfectly for me. From FAQ:
Most calling cards work in this way:
1. Dial the access number
2. Listen to the voice instructions
3. Enter your card number
4. Wait for a while
5. Enter your PIN number
6. Wait for a while
7. Enter the destination number
You may create outgoing rules like the following in MagiCall to automatically apply calling cards to the destination number.
Rule type: Outgoing call
Filter type: Specific number (You may select any filter type you like)
Phone #: +* (I want to filter international calls)
Action1: Change number
Call to: 8000,,1234,,666,,{phone}#
In the rule above, my calling card's access number is 8000, card number is 1234, PIN is 666. Each comma ',' is used to pause for a second. {phone} is a placeholder which represents the destination number. If you need to pause longer, add more commas. (See attached pictures)

Auto Prepend Area Code

With the move to 10 digit dialing becoming more and more common, are there any WM6 applications to auto prepend an area code for voice dialing? So if I were to ommit the area code and dial a 7 digit number, a predefined area code would be inserted prior to the phone dialing, and if I manually dial the area code, that area code is used in lieu of the predefined area code.
Anyone ever heard of anything like this?
You can do outbound number formatting with MagiCall from Mobiion. The ability to use expressions to modify the number dialed makes it pretty powerful.
http://www.mobiion.com/magicall.html
EDIT: Found the filter info on their forums:
Rule name: Prepend area code
Rule type: Outgoing Call
Filter type: Specific number
Phone #: ??????? (each '?' represents 1 digit; so this will match only 7-digit #s)
Action1: Change dialed number v2 (the v1 action didn't seem to work with Tachi dialer)
Call to: xxx{phone} (where xxx is your area code)

Adding Prefix before dial out

Is there any cab to enable to add/modify the dialing prefix before dial out? I used MyPrefixDial20050417.cab in a WM6.1 machine and failed to work in WM6.5 .
thanks
I use Magicall for that . You can set unlimited rules for dialing

Dialer code not working

I'm trying to view the network settings on my Zenfone, but the network info dialer code isn't working; if you dial *#*#4636#*#* the dial pad disappears. When it is opened again it is blank. Does anyone know how to open this menu?
