Unpack ROM

Hi all
I have a problem with unpacking the ROM file.
I've downloaded the file NL_11300_131_11200.exe and in the tutorial it says right click and unpack. Now I allready have Winrar but all I can choose is Add and Compress options no Unpack option.
Am I missing something?
thanks in advance
If you don't succeed with WinRar, try WinZip or just execute the exe-file & search in your temp folders for the .nbf files. Don't close the program before you copied those files to a save place.
M
Yes i tried to search the file *.nbf and *.nb1 on my computer while the setup is still on but it can't find any files.
I have 2 hardisc and i've allso search on the other one but no results.
i haven't tried winzip yet i'll try it now
Right-mouse click on the exe file and then select extract here. Files will be automatically placed in the same place where the exe file is.

How to extract nk.nbf from Prophet RUU

Does anyone know to extract the nbf file from the romupdate utitlity of the prophet?
or where can I find the nbf file for the prophet in this forum? I need to make a rom image on my sd card..or can i do it using just the nba file in the customized rom upgrade?
When you run the exe, it puts all it's files into a temp dir, probably your %temp% dir.
I'm sure there's an extractor of some kind if you can't find the file you want just by searching your harddisk for the file you're after, after you run the installation executable.
Get winrar (http://www.rarlabs.com) and once its installed right click onthe .exe file and select extract to (it will provide a foldername the same as the original file) winrar will extract the contents of the exe file to a flder for you.
yup! i 've done it, but don't know how to download the nk.nbf to my sdcard so that it can be flashed from there? anyone know?

building cabs

hey guyz do any of u know how to make a cab from the setup.xml file..actually i made a cab file which has about 190 files..and i misspelled the name of the directory in them..now i cant change all of them so i extracted them with 7zip in a folder ..now i have a file called setup.xml..i opened it and then changed the spelling of the directory..now how can i make it to install..please help guyz
I think you'll want to extract all the files into the same directory then run cabarc.exe to make a cab file with all the files.
first extract the inf file from a cab using MSCEInf.exe (from the zip file i included)
Then u can edit the inf file and use cabwiz to make cab.
it is no use to extract the xml file, at least not to my knowledge.
WOW thanx alot

MSCEInf version 2.1 (Update)

MSCEINf update is only for those who want to use the program in Command Mode for making batch tasks.
Contributions of version 2.1
· MSCEInf Version 2.1 adds ability to extract in command mode CAB files in a folder preserving subfolders names.
Syntax is a bit rigid with a keyword extract (separed by a space) after CAB name. This keyword allows creation of INF file and files extraction (with correct names) while preserving subfolders names.
A second parameter optional is folder name where to extract files. If omitted, folder name will be :
"c:\ExtractDir".
Program creates the folder if it does not exist.
For example write like here (do not forget to separe each parameters by a space and put path in double quotes) :
msceinf "C:\Users\Benoit\Documents\a.cab" extractand files are extracted in folder "c:\ExtractDir".
or give folder name where to extract :
msceinf "C:\Users\Benoit\Documents\a.cab" extract "C:\Users\Benoit\Documents\My extracted files"and files are extracted in folder "C:\Users\Benoit\Documents\My extracted files".
