I installed ActiveSync 4.0 but it wouldn't work with my mates C500 so i uninstalled it and tried to install the one on the Offical CD.But it keeps coming up with ceutil.dll 'cannot find entry point'
I get my MDA Compact today so need help getting it working!
I have tried uninstalling it and even downloading 'ceutil.dll' but nothing works!!!!
Have Tried ActiveSync 3.7, 3.7.1, 3.8 and 4.0!
HELP PLEASE!!!!

I just bought an i-mate Jasjar today, and I installed Activesyn 4.0 on my desktop PC(From the CD included in the package of my JJ), when I connected my JJ to the PC, Activesyn can start up automatically, but always shows " Connecting" and can never get connected! I tried uninstalled Activeysync, restarted the PC, then reinstalled Activesync, but it's still the same!
Anyone knows what's wrong with Activesync? any help will be welcome!

Suddenly i can't install programs tru active sync anymore.
It worked until yesterday i wanna install a program but i didn't apear on my vario.
Try it for some times but it would not work.
Today i want to install another program this would also not install on my vario.
What is the problem?? does anyone know.

Did Activesync stop synching before that ? Or did it crash during some install ? I had this too, my programs list on my wizard went empty, couldnt install/deinstall/synchronise anymore. Reinstall of ActiveSync did not work so I was forced to hard-reset my device in able to work with it again .... thanks ms activesync ...
This is driving me nuts. My PDA was running slow so I tried installing the Ruu Wizard 2.17 ROM. It installed, everything seemed fine but I could not Sync with AcitveSync. In fact it will not even recognize the mobile device. It sets it up as a Windows Network ( but I can't access the PDA). I've tried hard resets and reinstalling ActiveSync with no luck. ActiveSync says it cannot detect it. This problem is keeping me from reinstalling the original ROM. Does anyone know how to get AcitveSync to work on this thing? Or can I somehow reinstall the old ROM without AcitveSync? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are using activesync 4,
try upgrading to Activesync 4.1 (avaliable on Microsofts website)
this should fix your problem

I checked and I am using 4.1, still no go. Are there any other Sync programs out there?

I'm trying to install tomtom and its erorring out saying that 'Cannot connect to device '..... i have successfully synched my device with my laptop...... disabled mcafee personal firewall .....
any ideas why it errored out pls ?

I take it you are using ActiveSync? Is it the latest version.
Yesterday I couldn't get mine to connect. I deleted the partnership and still nothing. Downloaded the update and it worked again. Still don't know why it stopped, but at least its fine now.
Hello, I was a happy user of T-mobile MDA Compact II (CZ version), everything was OK... Before several days my Charmer discontinued synchronization with my PC. I've tried everything... solicitions, invectives... reinstalation of ActiveSync, hard-reset...
Now I have no information (no contacts, no dates...) in my Charmer.
PLEASE HELP
Whats exactly the problem? The AS does sync or doesnt see your device?
I´ve already solve the problem with the upgrade to WM 6.0, but the problem was that AS saw the device, it tried to sync, but it had no results... AS infinitely synchronized without any progress
