voice commander - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

i know this out there in the forum but i can't find. how do you re-install microsoft voice commander 1.5

Have a Problem Installing Microsot Voice Command Version 1.5 Upgrade ??? Read This!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are trying to install the upgrade to Microsoft Voice command version 1.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmob...ateversion.mspx for your Pocket PC or Pocket PC Phone and an error message on the desktop that
“No previous version of Microsoft Voice Command US PPC 1.50 was not found on this machine. The setup cannot continue” and you do have version 1.0 or 1.01 already installed, I would suggest the below mentioned steps .
1. On the Desktop, to go Control Panel --> Add/ Remove Programs --> Look for Microsoft Voice command US PPC 1.5. Typically you would have two instances of voice command here, the other being Microsoft Voice command, which is the version 1.0 or 1.01 and the qualifying product for the upgrade which should not be uninstalled at this point.
2. Now, highlight only Microsoft Voice command US PPC 1.5 and then click remove. This install size should be around 0.09 MB or 0.07MB due to incomplete install previously.
3. Now uncradle your pocket PC / PPCPE, Tap Start --> Settings --> System Tab --> Remove Programs, If you had installed Voice command 1.01 on the Pocket PC phone.
4. Highlight Microsoft Voice command, then Click Remove in the Pocket PC. Once the software is removed from the Pocket PC and you removed the listing of Microsoft Voice command US PPC 1.5 on the desktop in the control panel.
5. Cradle your Pocket PC again and synchronize. Now run the Microsoft Voice command 1.5 Upgrade setup file which you downloaded from the MS website once again and perform the actions displayed. This should install the Voice command upgrade to V1.5 on the Pocket PC device successfully.

Great Program - SmartJournal

http://maniac.fschreiner.de/content/view/7/15/
With SmartJournal, you can keep track of your phone calls at all times.
It takes the call log of your phone and transfers it into the Outlook journal.
Credits for the idea go to Paul O'Brien who posted an utility which does the same here - unfortunately this one did (and does) not work with non-English versions of Microsoft Outlook, so the tool posted here is a rewrite from scratch.
System requirements
Tobe able to run SmartJournal, you need the following:
Windows 2000/XP/2003
1MB free hard disk space
Microsoft Outlook (2003 tested, but 2000/XP should also work)
ActiveSync installed
As it is build with Visual Studio 2005, you the redistributables pack is needed. To install this, you need:
Windows Installer 3.1
Redristributables pack

Can't find MS voice command to uninstall on 8125

I screwed up the download process of Microsoft Voice Command from my PC to my 8125. When I try to reload my device says it is already installed and to uninstall first. I can't find the progam in File Manager, Search or Remove programs. I've also looked on my storage card.
I'm fairly new to the PDA world and may not be looking in the right spot. Any suggestions? :?

Problem Installing MS Voice Command -- Help !!!!!

I have MS voice command 1.0 and I want to install it on my new T-mobile MDA (USA) - its running windows mobile 5.0
When it downloads the cab to the MDA, it pops up an error:
"this program is being installed to "". We recommend this to be installed to MAIN MEMORY instead. YES , NO options "
If I click yes, it installs but the program does not work.
If I click no, it does not install.
What is going on ???
i had this problem, i had to do a hard reset to install it
voice command 1.0 is an old version that doesn't work well.
there is an update, voice command 1.50, which is much better and is free to those who have 1.0 installed on their PC. Check the Microsoft website for it!
Install 1.0 on the computer (don't install on the PPC!) and then install 1.50...
that should solve your problem!
Thanks!

ROM Hw6945 Windows Mobile 6.1

Hey guys, I found how to upgrade the HP 6945 in a brazilian website and I tried, IT WORKS! I'll explain how to do so now that I can post URLs
First of all, and which is a bit difficult nowadays, you need to use Windows XP, I saw cases that the people have done the upgrade in a virtual machine, but it didn't worked for me.
Let's go to the specifications of your mobile: your Flash Type MUST BE G4 and your BootLoader MUST BE G.39 , if you don't know you can see that in your mobile "Start/System/HP Asset Viewer"
Let's start,
1. Connect your mobile by ActiveSync (you'll need the 4.1 version as your mobile is WM5) using the cradle/dock/usb (was recommended to do a Hard Reset, but it's optional. To do so press On/Off , Send and Cancel Calls buttons, then use the PEN (Stylus) to press the Reset button under the mobile)
ActiveSync 4.1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?blql91lb1cqfq5z
2. Download and extract the file "SPL vG.39.7z" - http://www.mediafire.com/?o243pua8x7c0j0h
3. In the "SPL vG.39" folder, look for a shortcut named as "Command Prompt" and execute it
4. Now write this line in the command:
pdocwrite spl -n0 -b 0x20000 0 0x80000
5. You'll receive in your mobile a message about a dll (itsutils.dll) Press YES.
6. Now you have to put your mobile in BootLoader mode. Press the two buttons next to the directional + On/Off + Reset (using the Pen[Stylus])
7. Now open the ActiveSync and go to "connection configurations". Deselect the box "Allow USB Connections".
8. Download and extract the file "6915_ENG.7z" - http://www.mediafire.com/?kgwl83e22e2oody
9. Open the folder and execute "Sable_RUU.exe"
10. Press Upgrade and WAIT for a message "Update finished!"
11. Go back to ActiveSync (now you should use the 4.5 Version), go to "connection configurations" and select "Allow USB Connections"
12. Enjoy.
Everything is working, and you now have a new Office Package, including OneNote.
Your calls are better, don't freezing. The only problem is that SMS don't do any sounds when it arrives, but it's just the SMS.
The bluetooth you'll need to go to the Settings/Connections for the first time to work, but it's just once.
I have all the downloable content, if the link don't work, email me.
The original Rom of your iPAQ you can be found at HP's website named as GSM Radio Firmware, if you want, but I don't mind you'll need it.
The original website is in Brazilian-Portuguese, I've just translated for you.

That's everything. =)
