merci beaucoup for the translation and the free app!

Is there way to avoid re-launching applet all the time to get bass and treble adjusted? It resets to default everytime unit goes to sleep mode. I have to re -run and touch one slider to get bass and treble back
TIA

Merci beaucoup Xetra, That's one of the things that I loved to control in my PPC, Would be a version for the Brightness and Contrast overall the PPC ?

Yes it's the Compaq version hacked (icon & text)
i will try to reverse it in order to make a new applet with level saving.
by the way it reset only when i reset my S100, slepping mode not reset to default.
for the brightness, why you don't use the existing applet ?

Excellent! Works like a charm on my PDA2k, thanks!

Hi there,
It doesn't seem to work on my MDA II. I got it on my MDA but when I make changes in the program (f.e. boost the bass up), I can't here any difference. I tried it in Windows Media Player and Sound Explorer and also with my headset.
Maybe it is my ROM version? (1.72).

I would love a control for making my screen less brighter than the minimum setting of the standard control (for reading ebooks at night)
for Palm i had an app called EnergyDimmer, something like that for my Magician, i would buy immediately.

I just received my XDA II mini, and I was looking for this software to download, but I do not see a link. I went to your webite (www.xetranet.com) but I did not find it there either, only smartphone software. Is there anywhere to find the Bass and Treble applet?

guests don't see dowload links, you'll have to register and login

Works very nicely here on my MDA Compact (aka Magician). Thanks a lot for the upload!
Cheers, Daniel

Aha!
Merci

merci beaucoup mon cher

Yeah, I got the exact problem too. Btw, I'm using the XDA Mini. Maybe it only affects the XDA Minis, and not the Qtek S100s??
Basically, to reiterate, after coming back up from sleep mode, the equalizer effects are not "activated". Even though I open the dsp app again, the slider bar still remembers my last dsp setting, but the equalizer effect is not heard. I gotta actively move the slider bar( either the bass or treble ) up or down one notch to "activate" the equalizer effects again.

THANK YOU for uploading this nice little piece of software. It's just what I wanted since the default sound was quite lousy. Works like a charm on my Qtek S100.
Thankx again!

P3600 Review

A little review with pics posted in my blog, in spanish language (sorry for inconvenience), of course, with pics.
Click on my sing.
I have played with the trinity 1 day(also have a jamin) and a few thoughts
No fingerprint problem in the white version at least(think how hard it is to keep a black car looking good--but easier with a white)
Boot up speed very fast--45 sec or better
Bluetooth music--you will need all the tweaks of the prophet/hermes but if done it sounds good. No skipping with iplay/ R35
3G works even with my old ATT sim card(very fast download speeds- 5 x edge). Able to stream Sirius on the high bitrate setting! Can receive voice call while getting data!
Not unstable--put pocketweather, weatherpanel, ip dashboard, pocket plus, chronos--no probs
Camera-better with low light conditions
Speed-overall better
Speaker/ringtone--louder
Downside-None yet
I still cant believe it....
Got my Trinity one week now and its really the best Gadget I ever had. There is simply nothing wrong with it. Everything works. Fantastic.

Which are all the tweaks? AFAIK there is only the 'JointStereo' one.
BTW--no problem streaming internet music over wifi to bluetooth headphones. This would not work on prophet

Dude! Do you have the same sluggishness with the dutch P3600 (maybe WWE has it also)... i really think it's horribly slow sometimes; slow menu popups, unbearable scrolling-speed, etc. It seems to consume lots of RAM compared to WM2003SE on Jam when running.
Nice review btw !
Do you have any good tips in the field of registry-hacks 'n stuff ? Like making it possible to map more buttons ?
I've read somewhere here that there's a lot of tweaks for Bluetooth stereo on the TyTN and the S200...what would those be, and can someone explain some more about that ? (i'm having trouble connecting it for the first time, and some dropouts sometimes... will resume music after phonecall though )

When a lot of programs are open it slow down a bit, but not that much. The reaction time of menus is slower then mine Qtek s100. I don't know if it is a WM5 issue or the device. Emulators like Scumm and Dosbox feel definitely faster.
I also made some registry and Windows Mobiles hacks.
I mapped the speech recognition button to the CommManager and the voice recorder is the speech recognition button.
I added the US/WWE softkeyboard to the device. The Dutch keyboard is missing the question-mark and exclamation-mark when showing large keys.
I now have the WWE keyboard which is definitely better.
Maybe I try to create a new thread with some registry hacks next week.
At this moment I try to buy a Nokia HS-12W headset, I hope it is compatible with the HTC P3600.
Just curious, how did you add the US/WWE keyboard?

I extracted a HTC Wizard (WWE) rom to my PC.
I copied the following files to my device:
msim.96.dll
msim.dll
After placing the files you need to add the next registry key:
Code:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}]
"ShiftLock"=dword:00000000
"KBMode"=dword:00000000
@="Keyboard"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\InprocServer32]
@="msim.dll"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod]
@="1"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\DefaultIcon]
@="msim.dll,0"
There is only a problem with setting it as default input methode.
It gave me a white screen after a soft-reset.
Next week I will try to post the files, if it is legal.

Hast du den Terra schon bekommen?
Ja, sehr schönes Gerät, aber noch kein ROMdump gemacht
na und !??!
sehr schoenes Geraet !??! und ??? Bewertung BITTE !!!
I got one myself, its a brilliant device, the only thing that I dont like so much is that the side where the keyboard slides out of is a little loose when the keyboard is closed. So if you tap with the stylus on the top right corner the upper section of the pda hits the lower one constantly. Do you have that too? Besides I am just worried that overclocking the device to a constant 247 might damage it but I need the speed
I got my XDA terra yesterday with o2 WM6 ROM and it runs smooth. I had a XDA neo (htc Prophet) before and for me the Herald is the perfect successor of the Prophet. I just love the keyboard. It's very handy to be able to use all my programs from the Prophet over on Herald. Just copy all the files from my SD-Card to the microSD-Card. Just wish they had released a 4GB microsSD already.
@exxi
I dont have any with the keyboard being loose. Maybe you should exchange it to a new one (warranty).
OK:
- main speed is higher than wizard (aka Vario)
- keyboard springloaded and it turns on device by sliding out
- screen is more brilliant
- keyboard symbols are changed - but better
- ALL is turned - all buttons, keyboard direction --> have to learn
- wm6 - like all other wm6 better than 5
- Battery life is great (idle = 9-12mA by Batterystatus)
- Camera is much better but no falshlight
- no 2,5mm only miniusb for headset - so no chargigng and headset possible at one time (only with adapter)
- no stereo sound
- Voip is possible by installing WM6VoIP.cab (but sound out of speaker)
- VERY thinn!!!!!!!!!! more comfort in your pants pocket
- buttons are smaller - but less nonwilling pressing is disabled by this
-
Great at all.
I love it. It´s a newer wizard - not more not less.

My Herald was returned from warranty repair and they had installed a metal plate in between the screen and the keyboard to solve this problem.I had one of the first Heralds in circulation, I would have figured since they realized this problem they would have been correcting it in newly released versions. I would suggest that someone try contacting HTC and telling them about the "defect" so that they can repair it while it is still under internation warranty.

Weird start-up sound...

hi,
anyone experiencing problems with the start-up sound on M-Amine 2.0 Final ?
I set the original Diamond start sound (WAV) with Adv.Config in the HTC Animation section, Volume 60. The file´s on device memory; My Documents.
Now the problem is, that the sound is played with 10x speed - at least it sounds like that, really weird. What should I do ?

Had the same problem first.
You have to save the sound in 44khz, otherwise it will play way too fast.
Unfortunately it will increase a lot in size then.

I'm afraid there is no way for you to use the HTC equalizer with your BT headset!
If you want an equalizer, you will have to use a different player (f.e. CorePlayer) or install another equalizer (f.e. SRS WOW HD)!

Its possible!!! Just download HDTweak and in there 3.2 had a option -audio booster- its the equalizer found in touchflo music tab- which is disabled! just set it to enabled and you can use the equalizer even without any headphones!! but you have to set it back to enabled after every reset!
But trust me- Nokia Bh-503 has perfect sound (good bass and good frequency response) so you wont need a equalizer!!! I know it because I also have a BH-503 and Touch HD!!

No!!! Although you can enable the HTC equalizer using HDTweak without headphones plugged in - and the EQ will then work with the speaker - it will not work with a BT headset!!!
I use Pocket Player with my HD. It costs $20 USD, but IMO, is well worth it. There's a 30 day demo available to give you an opportunity to evaluate its worth to you.

Yeah - you definitely have to tweak A2DP! Otherwise the sound isn't great at all... I don't use HDTweak to do that, but I guess it offers the same options.
Here's what I do:
1) In the registry, head to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings and delete the values "MaxSupportedBitPool" and ""BitPool".
2) Then add a new DWORD with the name "SampleRate" and the value "48.000".
3) Restart.
That makes a huge difference!

Increase bass and audio effects on Acer Neotouch

Hi, according to all you, is there an app that increases the sound quality (not only volume) but above all bass for our Neotouch? For example, for HTC devices there is SRS WOW HD (i tried to install it but later audio and bluetooth stopped working even if i followed the instructions about modify "olddriver" in registry........, fortunately i unistalled and all come back working)? Is there a similar app for our device?
Thank you very much (and sorry for my bad english)
PS: a small curiosity: which virtual java machine do you use on Acer, if you use one?
1. It's not for HTC devices, it's just an application...
2. There're several packages that do ... huh, partially work... But there're sleep issues on S200.
3. It's a matter of personal preference, whether to count this application as 'quality enhancer', but as for me, it's a sound distortion crapware... I would rather prefer better HF spectre...
As for Java, I use some modded jbed dated back to 2008, but the only java application I use is Opera Mini...
I'm interested too for a srs cab with no wake up issue on the acer s200 or another equalizer, if anyone found something...?
Too interests wow hd for acer s200...
It works for me perfectly, but the small animal if falls asleep, all will not wake up (...
Output while the such: I include before music listening (in customisations srs wow, I put a daw to use the driver), I include a player, I listen (it is possible to disable easy through a player the screen, the small animal will not fall asleep)... After listening, in options I switch off wow hd, not conveniently, but the sound is worthy of it...
All hope of the guru which can customise somehow wow hd under ours acer)
Excuse for bad English
I found that, its not very usuable but better than nothing
you will see a menu on the app wich show you "pcm session", that works only with it

Too it is not bad possible to twist a sound (and it becomes loud also basses), but not all toddlers are displayed, on it it is heavy to customise a sound (more precisely normally not to customise in general) and as I have understood customisations are not saved
Update:
Has added eq in programs, through Gravity Sensor has customised, now it is possible to twist also all it is visible in landscape a mode)
