Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the rom from T-mobile (dutch)so that i can change it to my own wishes. I have the rom ripped with XDA tools but if i open the rom with Windows Mobile 2003 ROM Editor i have to enter a password. I tried different passwords from the different topics in this forum, but not one password is correct.
So, can anybody help me? Or is'nt it possible to change it? ( i want to change de backgrounds/skins and add/remove different software)

My devicedata.txt only contains 'PH10C'.
You must copy it to your PC. You can find more Informations in it.

When I changed my charmer's rom to WWE my intellidialer was gone. I tried to install PhonePad_Magician_Generic_WWE_RC12.zip but it didn't work.
Any ideas anyone?

Did you try doing a hard reset and then before the device automatically installs software, you do a soft reset to bypass it. Hence the EXTERNAL_ROM should then be unhid and you should be able to install the Intellidialler from that folder.
(This relates to the T-Mobile MDA Compact II in the UK)
In the extended ROM I think the file you need to run is called SmartDialing_enable_0915_signed.cab

sorry, I doesn`t find anything for my question with the search function.
My question is, how could I change the languages?
My problem is, that I get a HTC P4350 with french language, it is no provider locked. But I couldn´t flash the WM6 in german, only in french.
Ok, the keyboard is in french design (AZERTY), but I think, it must be possible to change the system languages, or?

don't think wm6 will allow you to change language. to flash other firmware, you will have to unlock the sim+cid. your phone might still be locked?

the phone doesn´t have a simlock, if the phone has the cid lock - I doesn´t know.
If you would flash the german rom file, I get the error message 294.

ENGLISH version of wm6...mine is chinese..
you can look it herald mobile 6 forum.
there is touch1.1..maybe 2.1 newer.
flash his rom and make your devices English.

Today I installed WM5SE_rev5 and noticed that i can't change the keybd layout of the 'hard' keyboard from the registry files like on WM6:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locate
String: 0407
Can you give me a solution for this problem ?

Yes, but Windows Mobile 5 doesn't have: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locate in the Registry file
