I´m using xda neuvoice.
Works well.

regards
josef

I have not used one before, but my brother-in-low is using MS Voice Command and he is very happy with it.

Thanks a lot to everybody
First of all, thans for your help.
I tried those programs but I found some problems, they don't work properly on my machine and the language (English only) is other limitation.
But I found an other one (Fonix VoiceDial) that works quite well and is ready for several idioms, for example Spanish (mine) or "something similar ", furthermore it´s able to read the names from the contacts of Outlook an it's not necessary to record every item.
If anybody is interested on it, get a free demo here:

Voice Command Contacts not shown. How to use outres.96.dll ??

Like many other people, I can't get MS Voice Command to display contact details (but the contact notes can be displayed). I understand that this works on other versions (e.g. The French version) but my problem is with the English version on a T-Mobile Pro.
I've seen suggestions that putting the outres.96.dll file in the \Windows folder allows the contacts to be displayed. However that doesn't work for me, even after a soft reset.
Has anybody got this to work without changing the Universal to a different screen resolution (e.g. using the VGA hack). If you did get it to work then how did you do it ?
Thanks
Peter
Copying the file into the \windows folder does work, when you reset, it should pop up a question about allowing it to run or not, or something along those lines.
I've done it several times, and each time it has worked straight off.
I believe it relates to the version of Voice Command, mine works successfully first time, everytime.
I just type a reply to this question on another thread, doh!
Simon, what version of MS Voice are you using then?
Steve
v 1.50.4333.1
on other posts I noticed those that couldn't get this to work were using the english version of 1.50.4333.21 or similar from memory
I think mine is the us version.
I tried to buy mine but they wouldn't let oz's so was able to acquire through alternate methods....
using MSVC UK V1.50.4333.21
works fine for me everytime.
noticed in another thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=36016 that a possible problem could be that the pin is blocking the popup to allow the dll to run, I don't set one until it is ready, as it is a pain, so that could be the reason why I've had no problem with it.

Alternative Dial Software / Voice Commander with normal Headset?

Hi Folks,
i'm owner of an XDA Trion, since last month.
So far im very glad with this device, but i have a few questsion about modifikations.
1)
Is there an alternative Dial software? I don't really like this Built in Software for making phone calls. In my opinion it is very slow and unhandy.
2)
I installed the MS Voice Commander. So far i like this programm, but how do i get it work with the std. USB-Headset of the xda? If i hold the button, the device starts the standard application for voice commands, which is not very helpfull...
So far, thanks for any hints.
Greetings
LordK

Unfortunelty does the Tutorial for getting Voice Command working with the Headset does only Work with a bluetooth headset
I need a way to get it work with the usb Headset.
Any Hints?
Best Regards
LordK
did you try EZDial?
I've just made a new app to allow you to use the headset button to launch any app. I'm going to integrate it into a few other hacks and will try to release soon.

Great
Thanks a lot so far

[REQ] Call in - Voice (text to speech)

I am a proud owner of a HTC HD, previously a Nokia E50
A feature that i miss very much, it used to "read" whoever called me.
I could know even if i was in the other room, who calls me. i really miss that.
I heared of MS Voice command and of something else like Cybetron (sonds liek that). But i tried to install voice command, and it crashed my Phone (Yes it was a warez one).
I mean i can affot a 20USD software, no problem, but i do not seem to understadn "how to order" from microsoft's site.
Anyway i wanted to try it out before (to see if it suits, it does 1000 times more than i actually need, i only need a simple Text 2 Speech for incomming calls)
So, what are my choices ?
Is ther any freeware for such things ?
Thank you in advance.
Uh, no one here to give me some help ?!
well ...
microsoft voice command 1.6 works fine i use it and havnt had a problem with it yet, but when u download it make sure its the full version... the others were missing files and voice command has issuses but a full version of of voice command u will be good ..... for sum reason they didnt add voice command or live search which i liked them both....

Is MS Voice Command 1.60 compatible with HD2 running WM 6.5.5?

I bought Microsoft Voice Command 1.60 and I tried to install it on a HTC HD2 mobile that runs Windows Mobile 6.5.5 (cooked ROM), but I always get an error message at the end of the installation, which says:
An unrecoverable error occurred in Setup. Please reset the device and try again
On the Handandgo website is listed that HTC HD2 and Ms Voice Command 1.60 are compatible, and the technical support of Handandgo confirmed it me that once once more.
I have tried:
- at least 3 different ROMs, (Freyberry barebone, Miri, 3l5y)
- at least 2 Stock ROM (1.43 and 1.66)
The error occurs even if I install from the PC using Windows Mobile Device Center or when I install from a downloaded cab files, located on my phone SD card.
Please can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks
It might be that this latest and previous editions of MS Voice Command are NOT compatible with HD2
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks
Saulo
Or does it need to have NetworkFrame 3.5?
If so, how do I know if I am running standard 2.0 version or latest 3.5 version?
Thanks again
Saulo
1) Have you checked that it works, i had this broblem after install on my old TD and it still worked. If i remember correctly it did not assign it to button 1 correctly either and you had to put a shortcut into the start menu then assign it to button 1.
2) I have not been able to get any version of MSVC to work on my Leo with 6.5.x, I am using Cyberon now... it is a bit of a pain having to go through all the contacts teaching it, but it works well.
Better use Cyberon Voice Command. Its
compatible,
more comfortable to use (no voice assignment necessary),
attachable to longpresssendkey even with bluetooth-headset easily (if this option is enabled, otherwise search for S64 enable send key)
and has more functions than MVC

Thanks a lot elburna
I will surely give a try to that application you mention
Now my problem is how to unistall...in fact also unistall runs in the same error message...
I dislike to have my system dirty with aborted installations and aborted removals. can you advice it?
Thank you!
Saulo

I have tried Cyberon and works very good (altough my english pronunciation is not good and many contacts are mistaken)
I have purchased via paypal 1 hour ago, to support them, $20...up to now I have NOT received any serial. Did you also wait a long time before receiving unlocking code?
2.
Is it possible to install another language? Say Italian? Or French?
3.
Is it possible to install Chinese Language (I am learning it)
Thanks

Im not quiet sure but i think (didnt test it yet) you can install any of the trials from their website (french, italian, and so on, unfortunately no chinese only japanese ) and unlock them with your code. If you dont like it you can go back to your old version any time.
For me it took a whole day till the registration code was sent because i ordered in the afternoon hours as well (takes some time till they check their paypal-/email-account), so dont worry
I am trying Cyberon Voice Command. Sound and voice work through the bluetooth headset but I cannot get the Bluetooth Headset to start the command.
I have also tried Microsoft VC, this works ok except i do not get the tone at the beggining or the failed tone.
Anybody experianced and of these problems and any sollutions.
What the hell? I've been using MSVC on mine for ages now, even over bluetooth.
On older ROM's it didn't, but since the latest T-Mobile build's it's been fine.
I'm using Miri Rom 7.0 on 6.5.5. I've assigned the longpress send key to activate and it works without issue. Furthermore, it installs then says some sort of error occurred, but I just press okay, and the back key and it works great!!
HI Guys,
because I am total noob in MSVC, could you please answer a few questions for me? I seem to have it embedded in my Xanny 1.4 Evolution (6.5.5) rom, but I haven't got any idea how to set it up or use it...
So firstly:
Does it work like I for example say: "Call Edward" or something and it will do it? Where do I set that up? Where do I record and apply the command?
Secondly:
Does it work only on bluetooth headset, or a wired headset (or no headset at all ) can be also used?
And lastly:
Does it need to be switched on/off whenever I want to use it or is it just another ongoing service?
Thanks!

I've been using the same ROM and my BT headset is Jabra Extreme. It works well.
Go to [Settings][Other][Voice Command] to set the MSVC to your liking. Actually, you don't need to as the presets are working well. Only you can check whether it is enable or not.
Click on your BT headset button and say the command after the beep. Better still after the beep say "Help" and you will be guided on the capabilities.
Don't know about wired headsets because I only use it on bluetooth headset.
You must activate the bluetooth services and pair your headset first. I usually leave the bluetooth services on or you can d/l the BT toggle to save battery. Frankly speaking, I leave the BT services on and the battery saving is minimal.
Hope that helps.
Ok, so it only works through headset then. Possibly only trhrough BT one... So I can't just talk to my phone without using any headset...? I guess I can (but I'd probably end up locked in mental institute...).
Voice Command with HTC HD2
Hi Guys been followingthis thread i have installed Voice command it seems to be working with regards to telling it to call my contacts however it does not read my emails to me as it used to do on my Imate Ultimate 9502 i have double checked all the settings etc they are set as per the imate but i cannot get it to read new messages any ideas?
I always got the install error when installing MSVC.. but i just ignored it and it works anyway..
does it read new messages?
I get the same error when installing and ignore them but it refuses to read new text messages
well for those intereseted after testing and many different solutions
the vedic is that the HTSense sms message system is not registering with voice command.
command voice dial and programm access works
appointment reminders work and new incoming emails are anounced and read aloud.
the only thing that still does not work is new incoming sms's are not read aloud.

PLEASE app to Tell TIME!!!

I have a HTC Diamond and use a bluetooth headset
I need an app that can work through voicehurtig to tell me the hour without taking my phone out of pocket
maybe there is one somewhere, but i havent found any, so if you have any ideas would be great
sometimes im running so the ideal would be that it work with a cronometer, but im happy if it can just tell time

I think the voice commander application from original HTC Diamond already has.
All you need just say
"what time is it" and it will give you the correct time CMIIW
I don't know if it work with BT headset, but it work for me with original headset
I have in my HTC Diamond one program which is VoiceHurtigNummer
Cyberon Voice Speed Dial
Version 1.2 Build 080227
Cyberon Corporation
but does not allow me to configure anything but numbers and programs, do you have any idea if i can update it or download another better that works with extra features, like the Time?
I think cyberon voice commander is already built in on the original ROM of TD, but I don't know if the ROM different in every country.
about a year ago, I have a program called microsoft voice command.. It's similiar to cyberon voice commander, but I lost the linked..
it have all the cyberon voice commander function + the function to speak up the caller name on phone call..
Unfortunately that program also lost when I hard Reset my device, and I don't have the .cab file
maybe if you find microsoft voice command, you can give me the link
I found the Microsoft Voice Command that you're looking for.
Because i'm new I can't post a outside link.
So if you want it PM me and I send you the link
Bye
