I would like to buy an MDA II for 649,95 € without contract but I am not german . So could we change language English or French with a flash ROM I-Mate or XDA II? Did someone dump it?
I have a 2nd question:
Could I put an ppc arm program to MDA II?

to the 2th question then i think you can the xcale should be arm compatible even more then ppc2003 is ppc2002 compatible

Last week I've bought an used O² XDA without accessories for € 100,- :lol:
It's the 32MB Version with an english rom (version 3.02.00eng, radio 4.01)
Now I want to upgrade it and change the language from english to german. Now my questions:
- can I use the actual rom-version from the 64MB XDA or only from 32MB version ?
- can someone send me a link for the actual german rom ?
- or can I use the actual rom from the t-online mda ?
Is there something special I have to pay attention for ?
(the unlocking works fine with the developers tool)

I'm living in Germany and would like to pick up a Prophet. My choices would be an S200 or XDA Neo via 24 month contract. However both would be in German and I would rather an English version but I cannot afford to pay for the device without contract. I've read in these forums that both devices are locked to the vendor and give a "CID (VendorID) error" if you try to flash.
This rules out the XDA Neo for me as O2 have no English ROM's available. But Qtek do, so would I get this error if I flashed from a German language ROM on a Qtek S200 to an English language Qtek S200 ROM as it's the same vendor?
Edit:
After a bit more reading it looks like JAFWM may be the solution. Can anyone verify this for me? Would JAFWM also work for the XDA NEO to upgrade to an English Qtek ROM even if it's a different vendor?
