been around this forum but Im still a litte cnfused
ve bught today an new Qtek 2020i.. but the software comes in french and I would like to change it to english is there any way how to do it??

you need to upgrade your rom, into ROM 1.11.03ENG instead of French

There is not published any O2 German or English ROM
there is nothing available.
any other source?

I don't know. Did you try the search button yet? But anyway, even if it is possible to make a backup, what are you going to do with it? You cannot use it to restore a bricked phone because it lacks the proper signature. I don't see the point of having a private backup ROM, without the signature it is useless anyway.
If you just want to make a backup of your settings, try Sprite backup software.
hello, i have the actuall rom for the german XDA Orbit, at the moment i try to upload it. when the upload is finnished, i'll post here the link to the file.
So, the file that you are looking for is now on the ftp server from the xda-developers in following directory: ROOT -> Uploads -> Upload -> XDA Orbit

I suppose it's something from Mitac.... Issued at the end of 2002...... Hate to disappoint you but no-one here remembers anything about MS Pocket PC 2002 OS. I used it on my first smartphone but I also remember nothing about OS structure....
