pinout for the SD memory slot at the XDA - Android Software Development

Hi all,
I´m searching for the pinout for the SD memory slot at the XDA.
Would be very helpful to get this.

Jürgen

Hi, sounds like your after the same info as me, I've been looking and not had any luck so far. Membership of the SD Card Association is $1500 US minimum. I'm not able to afford that :-(
So, if you find anything at all on the SD spec's, please pass the info on, and I'll do likewise.
Oh, the pinout, and a lot of other information, is available in the SD Associations sample specification (you have to join to get access to the rest of them) at :

These Infos are very helpful for the first step. Loking forward to find additional Infos.

How to achieve 40mb program memory?

I've read in somewhere in this forum that when you perform a softreset after a hardreset, you can get 40mb of program memory. Is this possible? I've tried performing a hardreset then softreset before installation of the cab files but my program memory stays at 25mb. I've already deleted my extension rom cab files but I can never get pass the 25mb of program memory.
Could someone please, please, please point me to the instructions in this forum on how I can have achieve a program memory that's greater than 25mb? I've really tried searching but I don't know if I'm just really bad at it or I'm just using the wrong keywords but I couldn't find anything that would answer my question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need a lot of program memory since every time I use Opera Browser and there are a lot of tabs open, my dopod818pro hangs. I think I'm actually regretting trading my Xda mini for the prophet.
Dont worry. Ill get you 2 applicatoins to add and youll have more storage... around 50MB not even 40! And youll get around 40% speed increase on ur phone compared to its original speed without any confusion. Email me at shivam (at) shivam (dot) info and ill get back to you.
Dont have too much time on the forum to post replies here. sorry.
Regards
Actually, he is talking about program memory, not storage memory.
Still, it would be nice to hear your solution. Why don't you post it here, instead of requesting for a private email? I am sure a lot of people would be very interested and grateful.
i, too, would certainly be interested in this "solution".
please post more info
I think they talk about unlocking the ext.rom and to delete all files in it !
Nice idea, but unfortunately, you cannot store Photos or Outlookdata on your Storagecard afterwards...Ideas?

hi
thanks for the download link. this is a bit cheeky to ask but do you know if i can get the softare for free.
Thanks
A bit cheeky he says...try rude
Resco Explorer, $24.95 = £13.11, why dont ya do decent thing and BUY IT!!!
PS: this is partly a developers forum, ie the people who write software, the people who wouldnt mind (and deserve) a little come back. Why dont ya just tell them they all suck at writing software whilst ya at tryin to save £13.
PPS: Its probably a no

miniSD size compatablity

What miniSD card size compatability does the HTC Wizard offer? Looking at them on ebay and it seems that there are some that are not compatible with various devices.
Would like a 4GB card, but don't know for sure if will be compatible.
Also are there certain brands that may not work as well.
Any advice?
Thanks
Rob

Swap out microdrive?

Is it possible to crack open the Athena and replace the crap-tacular microdrive with, say, a 16GB compact flash card? I know that flash only has so many write/re-writes, but I'd fancy having a large storage space to keep music that won't change much.
What d'ya think?

Not a great start to your xda-devs life. Rather than starting a new thread try the button marked search (or you could even google xda-devs) and you might have come across this 5 page long discussion: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=306239
While you're at it, please also read this: READ THIS BEFORE POSTING (the give-away is in the title).
Excuse me, not a n00b here. I did in fact search first. Why would I go out of my way to type a question that someone may or may not have an answer to if I could find the answer with a search?
When I ran a search, it didn't bring up the thread you linked to, but nevertheless thanks for all your good-natured help.

Possible HD2 Buyer

I'm still mulling over an HD2 and have a couple of App queries:
Is there are good RSS reader that will sync with Google Reader and allow me to save for offline reading?
Is there a good Ebook reader that will support pdf files?
Is there software that would allow me to playback .m4a audio files?
Hi Chris and welcome,
If you use search you will find the answers to your questions. Just used this...http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=+site:http://forum.xda-developers.com&hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all to find an answer to the e reader question.
Good luck.
WB
PS: One more thing if you have not already done so; read the Hints & Tips thread on here. It should help inform your decision on buying the device.
