I tryied to connect my Qtek2020 with NEC616v via bluetooth, so I could use it as a highspeed modem with the mobile broadband. It wont pair either ways. The Qtek finds the NEC616v but when I press a pin code, nothing appears on the NEC, and the Qtek returns with a message saying that my pincode is wrong.
Has anyone any experience with this pacticular problem?

Nokia´s or other mobiles that run Symbian operating system, is not working with the Qtek/XDA II Bluetooth at all. You can´t even send contacts...
Ive got reports of it working with some SonyEricsson mobiles, although, of course not the most popular ones (T610/T630).
I think the bluetooth compatability is really bad on the Qtek2020/XDAII.
Hopefully, this will be fixed in newer roms, or maybe Windows Mobile 2003SE, or Windows Mobile 2005.
not sure what this NEC616v thing is but i suspect if you want to use it for data transfer you'll have to get some sort of driver for the xda

I got a Orange SPV M1000 with the latest firmware and I can easily send and receive files from a SE P900. When trying to bluejack I often see all kinds of phones altough I seldom try to connect to them. Make sure you have the 1.66 firmware as I have heard that the previous versions where weaker regarding bluetooth functionality.

But 1.66 only works with Orange and other specified operator images. My Qtek2020 is not Sim locked.... When I asked the Qtek support, they told me 1.66 was only for Qtek's with Orange or TDC images..
I HAVE JUST AQUIRED A SPV M1000 FRENCH WHICH IN REALITY IS QTEK 2020 MANUFACTURED BY HTC WHICH ALSO MANUFACTURES O XDA AND I MATE. BUT THE VERSION I GOT CAME WITH ORANGE BUNDLED PROGRAMS. THE PDA PHONE IS SIM LOCKED AND WORST, SOME OF THE NORMAL PPC PROGRAMS WHICH WORKED FINE WITH THE UNLOCKED VERSION JUST WON'T WORK WITH THIS ORANGE ONE. IS ANYBODY FAMILIER WITH THIS PROBLEM ( A FRENCH ONE). THANKS
If you want to unlock the M1000, do a search on this site for a piece of software called xda2unlock. That will unlock it hopefully. I have an M1000 myself and i have never had any problems with running any software, can you give more details?
NO LUCK SO FAR AND I TRIED SOME OXDA UNLOCK PROGRAM WHICH I FOUND ON THIS FORUM, BUT NO CHANCE.
TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE MY SPV M1000 HAS BEEN VERY UNSTABLE LATELY IE: EVERY 3 OR 4 DAYS THE UNIT WILL LOCK UP AND NEITHER THE POWER BUTTON OR SOFT RESET WILL WORK AND WHEN I REMOVE THE BATTERY, I LOSE ALL MY DATA AS IF I DID A HARD RESET.
ORANGE FRANCE HAS ALREADY REPLACE MY UNIT 3 TIMES.
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON ??? :twisted:

I bought a softbank, installed the BB connect client software but I couldn't activate the BlackBerry function. I did it ok before on the O2 XDA machine but why couldn't on this softbank ??? Does anyone help advise me how to do ???

hi guys I have just unlocked my orange spv e650 & put in my 02 sim but it wont connect to the internet even though I have gone into connection settings & changed them to automatic settings
does anyone know the settings so i can use my phone to serf the net with my 02 sim thanks

I thing he did it by net or some service ... There's no free unlocking software for spv e650 now ;( Can someone do something with that... ?? Probably not...

hi i tired to search ad finally i like to post my problem here because here a cute people to say me just somthing nice.
i have spv classic from orange and i live now in morocco here there is no company from orange and ilke to unlock muy spv classic and i fall in problem i like to upgrade it with update ROM SPV Classic & E100 from orange and the problem done.
it stops's at 10%?suggestion please!!!
spv classic with bootloader 1.10. and now i can run my spv normal its just at start showing the orange logo ithink its bricked
