Hello again. Trying to see if I can flash custom ROM onto my One Plus 5 using SP flash, however I need the scatter file, the firmware that I have downloaded doesnt seem to contain any scatter file (which should be in txt/xml format). Im really a novice at flashing and any help would be appreciated. Thanks

HI all !
Today I was on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/4ek7ue/lg_v10_has_root_now/) , and I was asking myself if it was possible to repack .kdz / .tot file ? I know root method already exist for the G2 and every variants, but I think it's more easy for someone who wants to go back to stock to use a preroot stock file rather than re-root every time using actual method.
I already managed to decompress the .kdz file with this tool thanks to @bullghost . I download UpTestEX.exe , but now when I try to merge all files, I have thoses errors : http://imgur.com/a/LU7SH .
Thanks !
Hello Canada. I'm on Rogers and updated a few days ago to the new 6.01 Marshmallow ROM. I have root. Seems to be not much development work on our device, the G900W8, wanted to try some custom kernels and see if they would work but they all seem to be for the 900F. I'm interested in battery life improvements.
So I wanted to get a stock kernel I could flash in case something goes wrong and it won't boot, or if I just don't like the kernel. Some custom kernels require you to flash from stock rather than other custom kernels.
So how do we get things like kernel and radio out of our new G900W8 download? The download I have from Rogers is G900W8VLU1DPD3_G900W8OYA1DPD3_G900W8VLU1DPD3.
Use 7zip to open archive the stock rom. Then extract boot.img. IMG files can flash via TWRP.
Did some searches, seems like Flashify will do it. Gonna give it a try.

Thank you. I grabbed the file boot.img from the downloaded Rogers ROM file and copied to my PC. It has a file size in Windows Explorer of 12319. I also used Flashify to extract it, copied it to the PC, it has a size of 13,312. Wonder why the size difference?
hello everyone.
currently I am using custom rom name lite os.. it is very smooth.. but i want to get back to the stock rom. i have downloaded flash file.. in the zip file i got an oep file about 7GB and msm download tool.. but it requires user id and password.. i have tried crack version of msm download tool. but they are not compatible with this oep file... so dear developers please help me to flash stock firmwire.. i want my device as before was.. with locked bootloader..
thanks in advance
So, now that the bootloader is unlockable on this model, I was thinking of developing a TWRP for the 6058 variant of this phone, but there's a problem, which is that I can't find any firmwares online for my model (I need the stock recovery file). Data mining Sugar MTK Tool I was able to find the scatter and Auth file, but I really don't know which Download Agent (DA File) it uses. Is there any way to dump the firmware?
I have a stock T-Mobile zip file containing the complete ROM, just not sure how to flash it all. Do I need to download qfil flash tool? I have an EDL flash program that I downloaded from Android forums but I'm not sure which files I need. Any help would be appreciated!!!
