hi guys.! I am from Greece and my z2 pro start the blue screen problem. I read that this phone works better with Chinese rom and problems like mine were resolved. Now my phone has 3 days which works fine. It runs lollipop android (K920_S271_150907_ROW), it is rooted using DragonVibe a8 kernel (unlocked bootloader) and it has xposed firmware too. My question is: Is it possible to FLASH official Chinese rom to ROW version of device? If yes then will i have to do some changes to make it work to my network? I read something about changing the modem to port the Chinese rom and by dialing *#*#5920#*#* to make it work with global network. :silly:

You have to use proper radio (modem) CN or ROW for device to have network.

Hello everyone
I wanted to ask you a question about my device's baseband.
Currently I'm on CyanogenMod rom version 11, which I installed via the installer (since it looked so fast and easy).
I moved to CM about 2 months ago from the BTU version of baseband I9505XXUEMK8.
I do not have any reception problems but I saw since this baseband version there went out many other versions (including the new baseband version for the leaked Kitkat).
I do not want to have future problems and I feel "guilty" on being on an older baseband version so my question is when do I need to change the baseband version? Only if I have reception problems or in other cases, too? And in which cases?
Thanks in advance
If everything is working fine then there is no need to change. Usually people would change if their network releases a new modem as it's better to be on the recommended modem used in the original firmware by your specific network or if people are having signal issues. All models work regardless of rom. I've flashed many modems and all have worked fine find the right one and stick to it.

So as I said, I'm on I9505XXUEMK8 modem almost 3 months (from the moment it was released for BTU, but I'm from Israel not England).
As far as I understood, I can stay on that rom as long as I don't have any problems right?
Correct. You'll be fine with your current set up.

I have successfully updated to version A3000-H Call - A3000_A422_003_014_130909_WW_CALL_FUSE my vodafone smart tab III, test calls correctly and although two slots sim recognize this tablet has only one.
I had trouble at first by the drivers and have not activated the development so that from what I've seen in the thread happens to the majority and hence the error using the FlashTool but as soo active mode restart wait a few seconds to give ready update and becomes tablet lenovo.
I hope this helps anyone with the same tablet.
Greetings and thanks for the contribution to azam426.
I have the same tablet Vodafone smart tab III 7" and i flashed it like u. There is no problems until now ...the tablet is running smoother and faster than the Vodafone version. The only missing thing is internal storage of 3 gb from Vodafone rom which was 16 gb and now it is 13 gb. Call feature working well too. I ll try to re-flash back the original rom to see if i get back this missing 3 gb storage.
Thanks to azam for this rom with calling feature.:good:
I've flashed this on my vodafone smart tab III 7, and everything is working, except for auto rotate
I have a problem with smart tab iii 7, can someone help? If i flash just /system, all works except auto rotate. If i flah with /boot as well, everything works, including auto rotate but if the display goes to sleep, nothing wakes it up, no power button no usb, but i can hear notifications in the background. I guess boot.img needs work?
Data not work
I have vodafone smart tab 3 and flash with A3000_A422_013_025_140624_WW_CALL_FUSE
When open data dont work. Any help?

3) how did you dump the orginal Vodafone rom?
Thanks... and sorry for questions

Hi guys.
I'm planning to buy Note 4 in my country, Turkey and they sell sth called N910CQ. I heard that they disabled 4G in that model. I'm not sure if it's about that or not because we don't have 4G here yet. My question is, is it ok to flash N910C stuff to N910CQ? I read that the only difference is CSC and I read that it's about Signals. Thank you.
I am using Note 4 N910CQ - Turkcell device running Russian Firmware (N910C). No issues at all. Device does support LTE unfortunately we don't have a LTE connection.
My phone's about screen says it's N910C not N910CQ

Oh great then! So we can flash kernels and roms for 910C. Do you know what are differences between C and CQ?
There is no differences between C and CQ. Q stands for Turkey nothing else. You can flash C rom to your device.
One thing you should pay attention is when you flash a C firmware instead of original CQ FW, model number shows N910C which makes easier to detect odin flashed firmware if you care about warranity. But anytime you can return to stock CQ with no problem.
Hi, i have (or i had ) a lenovo k920 (chinese version) i have installed via qfil a modded row rom. After that it won't read sim cards anymore (it show only two red cross). by typing on the dialer *#06# i sow that both IMEI was lost (both value was 0) so i replaced the right ones with a little software found on the net. It still won't read sim cards and i noticed that in "version information" it show Baseband version: unknown.
I have done anything: reinstall modded rom, back to stock rom, try another rom...but nothing changed. Please someone can help me?
ty and sory for my English.
ROW software won't work on chinese version of the phone. The radio is different so it uses different software. Therefore you cannot get SIM signal. Flash CN rom, root and debloat manually. That's what I have found to work so far...
Hello, I bought the k920 (china mobile 4G) new from a chinese friend who bought it for me in china. It came pre-manipulated for the international market with K920_ROW_S226_150429_TWRP_ROW.zip , MODEM_CN1.zip and SuperSU_for_K920.zip still left on the internal storage. I got access to all the network types and only the telephone function doesnt work somehow if LTE is enabled. It seems like the network types are also not able to switch between eachother at loss and gain of signal strength. So I am wondering what methods the chinese guys used to achieve my set-up... Baseband version is DI.3.0. Build number 226 and Android Version 5.1.1. And I checked my bootloader and it seems like its locked, according to the adb output ( fastboot oem device-info)
Thanks in advance... EDIT: and sorry for necro bump.
Hello,
I've a G935F and my network operator have the VoLTE (Proximus in belgium). The problem is I have the LUX firmware and not the PRO.
When I download the correct firmware, I never got the PRO firmware but the German because, it's a multi-CSC firmware…
I don't want root my phone. Is not possible to force the PRO csc ? Rebuilding the firmware and force the PRO csc has master for example ?
LUX and PRO has the only firmware working for network share and I don't want to rooting my phone and lost many features…
Thanks for help

I had the same problem.
Jack, i can give you a code so that you can choose PRO but it will wipe your phone so you will have to back up everything.. I got the code from somebody from Proximus.. if you want it, PM me
But make sure you have the multi csc installed..

Thanks but it's working for me. Want to change to PRO from VD2 and it's not working; no pop-up, no menu, nothing…*
Never tried by myself but out of the codes available that seems to be the most promising one (*#272*IMEI#, *#272*TIME# are others).
Which Android version are you on? I also heard it works under MM but not N.

Trying with Nougat…*Never testing on MM
Any update on this? Mine is LUX CSC as well, would like to change it one where I can use VoLTE. Just switched to proximus.
A little bit too late, just had mine activated with LUX CSC. No need to change CSC, just give them a call to make sure they activate VOLTE on your SIM.
This was on NOTE 8, with OREO.
