Post-November patch Xposed - X 2014 General

A new test version of Xposed has been released that works with Marshmallow-based ROMs that have the November security patch. I'm still fairly new around the forums, don't know if the average Xposed user follows the Xposed threads, so I thought I'd post a link to the thread page, here, as I have it working on my XT1095 (XT1093?) running cm-13.0-20161122-NIGHTLY-victara.

Version 87 release is now available and works!

Note 3 N9005: is there a ROM with latest security patch level available?

Coming from a Note 1 (N7000), I'm quite satisfied with the work of XDA developer bauner . He set his focus on providing a stable CyanogenMod based ROM wich is always updated with the latest security patch level - no fancy, just stable and secure. He is even working on a CM14.1 ROM.
I got an old Note 3 from my son. I'm not sure, if I should keep it, despite it's way better hardware wise than my Note 1 from 2011. I keep some business related data on my phone, so my focus is on security.
From looking around, I found several ROMs for the N9005 which haven't been updated for months. I found some other ROMs (based on Note 7 stuff) which are updated frequently, but seem to focus on fancy stuff, nice features, but never mention any security related update.
So I'm wondering: is there really no ROM for N9005 with focus on security? Or did I miss one?
I'm sure most of the CM13 roms comes with the latest security updates. Trader is still updating temaseks cm13 with security upgrades for example. You can also go go ahead and try out one of the two CM 14.1 roms here on the forum.
The CMs are constantly updated. If you want 6.0, there is Temasek's. Otherwise, there are also the CM14.1 builds from trader418 and christer12, even if the first one seems to be more stable
still can't find a suitable ROM
Thanks for your response.
Reading your comments, I was continuing searching all XDA ROM threads for Cyanogen ROMs. Google is pushing security updates on a monthly base. So I was looking for a ROM which follows this path. I would even pay a monthly fee for it.
From what I've read so far, I got the impression that the work on Temasek CM13 ceased in favor of the CM14 builds (which are not stable enough for my personal use case). From android-hilfe.de (German forum)
Is there anybody working on this ROM? - No, work on CM13 stopped

Looking at the Temasek thread I can see under "current info"

A quick google search shows this version is from April 2016. Looking at his repository, Temasek stopped his commits in August and I wasn't able to find another repo which is still maintained. Trader is developing CM14 and he is supporting CM13 for Verizon. There's a Temasek 12.2 from October, also build by Trader, but I don't know the patch level. Looking at his Twitter account, Trader is busy with university stuff at the moment, so he had to reduce work on the ROMs - he omitted at least two patch levels (or even more).
Looking at Purify, the last version is also from October (hmm, does he depend on the work of Trader?). And finally Christer closed his threads CM threads for unknown reasons. Maybe because he was not providing his kernel sources, like the XDA guidelines demand for GPL stuff.
So, which CM based ROM did I miss? Is there one I'm not aware off? It seems I still can't find any CM13 ROM which is actively maintained on a regular basis.

My fork of temaseks cm13 is found at GitHub.com/trader418. I'll upload an update later today with the latest security patch. I aim for a monthly update at the least however uni work had been getting on top of me. But now I'm finished for Christmas I have more time.

[Q] Latest MM Rom With Security Patches

Hi All. Right, basically I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'm looking for an up-to-date Marshmallow ROM with maybe the latest security patches installed. I've tried building RR with success but no SIM detected and my limited knowledge of Linux and building I cannot fix the issue. I'm looking somewhere along the lines of Lineage OS 13 or RR and at a push, AOSP.
If anyone can help or point me in the right direction then that would be extremely helpful as there are some very talented people here!
Thanks for your help guys!!
The last version of RR for 6.0.1 from 12/16 is still available...

... which I believe has the latest MM security patch from 9/16 (MTC20L).

Thank you for the info. I'll take a look as I do like RR a lot

Download link - March patched boot

Hello guys,
Sorry for creating new thread but I couldn't find a link in any of the other threads.
I request a link to download March patched boot in order to install magisk (for some reason my magisk isn't working anymore and root was removed from device). I am using March update ofc.
Thank you!
Like you I was searching it, then I found it very easy to make it by magisk manager app and made it myself, you can do it as well, BTW here is the download link
https://ufile.io/0qsn5/
First of all, thank you for the download link.
It worked!
May i ask if you are still running March update? or upgraded to May update?
I am still using march update, its working great, not faced any issues yet and I will definitely update it when oreo 8.1 arrive

What is the latest stock/beta Oreo 8.1 I can get on the 5?

I just picked up the 5 for a family member. She needs working Xposed (or rather, *I* need working Xposed to set everything up well), so no Pie. What is the latest Oreo I can get? The official ROM mirror thread lists 5.1.7 for stable and, for some reason, two open beta 21 zips. OOS has releases up to 5.1.11 on other Oneplus devices. Am I right in assuming they didn't release them for the 5? Is OB 21 farther along than 5.1.7? If so, which of the two zips should I be using? I apologize for posting, but neither search nor bruteforce reading of threads has yielded an answer.
The fixes listed in post-5.1.7 releases look valuable. "Fixed system stability issues", for one. Am I jut SOL on those?
Cheers,
-ln

You can find download links (including mirrors) of all the OxygenOS Oreo builds for the OnePlus 5 from here. OxygenOS 5.1.7 (the last stable build based on Android 8.1 Oreo) was released after OxygenOS Open Beta 21 (the last open beta build based on Android 8.1 Oreo), so I suggest you go for the stable build as it might have some patches that aren't there in the open beta build.

Yeah, I've seen the mirror thread obviously - and even started trying to read all of it. It's brilliant. However, while it lists all of the available stock/OB zips, what it doesn't do is actually explain what they contain and the chronology, hence my questions. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Would've taken me ages if not for your help mate
