HI guys,
****** After getting WP 10 it is the only tutorial to get further build ******
This is already posted method in xda forum ,But there are Some failures
like CustomWPSystem_0500.xap not able to get SD card permissions (if you get SDcard Permissions "green" you can try easy method )
wifi trick failure through windows insider app update
Workground Preparation :-
if you don't have enough "sys freespace"(<300 MB) . you can't update, you should follow below steps
1 ) download and install microsoft phone recovery tool) and follow instruction in the tool
OR
2 ) download and install Nokia Care suite 5 and FLash the Phone online mode(thanks to anaheiim )
OR
3 ) Flash with" Nokia Care Suite 5" with your selective Rom.( Tutorial)
if you want any custom country variant of phone by going "http://www.mrcrab.net/Nokia-Product-Code.html?ProductCode=xxxxxxx" here xx indicates product code of your lumia
go through any online tutorial how to flash rom offline using Nokia Care Suit 5 ,becareful
windows phone 10 tutorial starts now:-
Requirements :-
1 ) Lumia Device with Windows Phone 8.1 and SD card.
2 ) windows 8 or higher PC with windows phone sdk or lite version installed,
" windows 7also but .net 4.5.1 installed.
3 ) There Should be "sys Free Space" 300MB or Higher (check it on Windows Insider
app by selecting about option ),if not flash the phone
4 ) WiFi Connection about to Download 800MB Update,(if not ,Make WiFi Hotspot with Other Mobiles)
download the attachments using below links

Follow the Order Carefully:-
1 ) install Windows phone SDK lite version ,and unlock your device(windows phone developer registration)
if you already installed these apps ( "preview for Developer " and "windows Insider" , WPSystem_Folder_Unlocker, CustomPFD,CustomWPSystem )remove them and restart the phone
2 ) go to storage sence set "Store new app on my" option to SDcard
deploy "CustomPFD_0003.xap" using Application Deployer(sdk)
go to storage sence set "Store new app on my" option to phone
deploy "WPSystem_Folder_Unlocker_Release_ARM.xap" using Application Deployer(sdk)
install "Files " app from Store (in phone memory)
install windows insider app from Store (in phone memory)
now change storage to sd card
install from store below apps
Preview for developer(SD card)
metro commander(SD card)
below apps must be in phone memory
1 ) FIles
2)WPSystem_Folder_Unlocker
3) Windows Insider "Updated"
in sd card
1)preview for developer
2)custom PFD registry editor
3)metro commander
finally make sure all above apps in corresponding storage in data sence.
3) open " WPSystem_Folder_Unlocker app" click on "unlock WpSystem Folder" option,you will see success popup and close it
read 4th step twice and understand the process...
4 ) open "Files " App go to 'SD-card/WPSystem ' rename "Apps" folder to "Appx"
Go to Appx Folder open {178ac8a1-6519-4a0b-960c-038393741e96} folder ,
and delete All folders in it and rename back "Appx" to "Apps" and close app,
if you got error close files and try again...
Open Metro Commander on the Left side select "add short cut"
it will show phone and SDcard options ,select SDcard
then go to "SD-card/WpSystem /Apps/{27d6a090-50d2-4337-88cb-41d97597757a} " do not do any thing now
all the above process on left side only on right side you still have "add Shortcut" Option on Right side
now Right side select 'add shortcut ' select sd card and open 'WPSystem/Apps/ folder' and go to {178ac8a1-6519-4a0b-960c-038393741e96} which will be empty now
now select left side address bar, click on middle button which is 'select all ' icon(available at menu bar)
it will select all folders and at menu bar 'copy button ' will appear then click on it.
wow all files will start coping from left to right now,wait until 100%
if Files App Not Renaming Apps Folder ,then try 'folders' app from store to phone memory
"preview for developer " patched Successfully you will notice icon change
remember make the shortcut to start screen ,because after restart it may be removed ,so make a shortcut ,its cont be removed
Finally:--
open "preview for developer
goto HKLM -> SYSTEM -> Platform ->DeviceTargettingInfo -->"phoneManufacturerModelName" then type
" RM-984_1006 " click 'write'
goto HKLM -> SYSTEM -> Platform ->DeviceTargettingInfo -->"PhoneFirmwareRevision" then type
" 02055.00000.14511.22002 " click 'write'
goto HKLM -> SYSTEM -> Platform -> DeviceTargettingInfo -->"PhoneMobileOperatorName" then type
"000-IN" click 'write'
Some Other VALUES
"phoneManufacturerModelName = " RM-976_1161 "
"PhoneFirmwareRevision" = " 02040.00019.14484.24002 "
PhoneMobileOperatorName" = " 000-PL " " Lumia 630 CV POLAND "
"phoneManufacturerModelName = " RM-984_1004 "
"PhoneFirmwareRevision" = " 02040.00021.15063.02004 "
PhoneMobileOperatorName" = " 000-FR " LUMIA 830 CV FRANCE
Some people doest get update with out PhoneFirmwareRevision (firmware version) entry
open insider app first go to about option check above values are correctly entered ,if not correct in preview app.
now check for the builds ,if no builds comes follow below values
find appropriate firmware version with respect to country operater.(check availability of denim page in your region for FW version number )
i don't know which values will work
updated :if you still not getting builds follow below steps
if insider App shows no builts and shows microsoft account option login with your insider outlook mail
if insider shows nothing
then click on (...) menu select "Sign in with different account" and login with same insider outlook account
some times it get builds on 3G mobile connection
some time it gets builds on Wifi
turn off one before going to other
like mobile data on then turn off WiFi
WiFi is on then turn off mobile data
Definitely you get windows phone 10 TP Update
Don't use internetsharing option it will make wifi continuously on ,evensharing also not possible,u need to Reset to get back

Cannot open WPSystem_Folder_Unlocker app. It's forever loading. What did I do wrong? Please help!
Edit: Got past it, but another problem. Cannot rename the folder 'apps'. Shows access denied. I got a success popup in the unlocker app though.

,you need Files app too,try now ,read tutorial steps again ,you will get wp 10.

Update downloading on my L520...
i have lumia 520 with 8.1 update 8.10.4xxxxx
then restore it using lumia recovery tool then it go back to 8.10.129xxxx
then skip the critical update which is 8.10.4xxxx
then done all the above steps finally install insider on phone memory and chnge the above three values then goto insider site register again my outlook account after that tap sign in with different account then tap micrsosoft accout signin with my outlook account then only i got insider fast/low option then click insider fast after that it shows some error like an update is already have go and check phone upadate
finally i goes to phone update some update downloading now i dont know is this wp10 update or 8.10.4xxxx????????????????????????????????????????????????????

its not possible because we need to access wpsytem folder.sd card must require,try wifi trick ,but its stoped by insider app update

Your tutorial worked for my Lumia 520 (I seem to be the only person reporting on Lumia 520 and Windows Phone 10 and whether it works or not).
My problem though is that my sys free space is always around 160 mb even though I've reset my phone from settings.
How do I really reset it so I would have 300 mb free?
Am I supposed to not tick automatically update apps after I reset the phone and set it up again?
I was running the very latest windows phone 8.1 through the insider preview app.
Is it possible that that very latest version (whatever it was) takes up that much space of the os partition?
I'm currently trying to install WP10 with 160 mb free and will report back if it works.
I also forgot to put the phone in airplane mode during the tutorial, but it still worked, I was still able to put myself on the fast track to updates.
Now the only question is if it will actually work.
At the moment it found some update and it is downloading it, but I don't know what update os version it is, I will report.
Thanks for this nice tutorial, it would be more helpful though if it would be better worded, more complete and better formatted.

Windows phone 10 on Nokia Lumia 520
So, everything went fine, windows phone 10 appeared as an update in check for updates after I put myself on the fast track for builds following your tutorial, the phone rebooted to install the update but failed, probably because my system partition only had 160 mb free, and so, I got an error number 0x80188308 saying:
Can't install update
Unfortunately, we weren't able to install the update. Wait a while, then try again. (0x80188308)
After googling the error, it is indeed because I do not have enough space to install the update.
I will try the windows phone recovery tool to free up more space.

Unfortunately I ended up with a bricked Lumia 520 after trying to restore my windows 8.1 preview developer 520 to stock firmware by using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool.
I didn't even get to install WP10 and it got bricked.

I haven't found a solution yet.
It's the dreaded QHUSB_DLOAD problem.
My phone is now bricked!

Just as an added FYI, a Windows 8 PC isn't necessary to do this. I did it from an old lappy running Windows 7.
Had a few complications after the update.
Lock screen wouldn't let me punch in the pin at times.
Couldn't create or alter folders.
Camera wouldn't start at times.
Some others I forgot to mention. A factory reset after the update fixed the folders and camera and the lock screen doesn't lock up as much. Also, under extras+info, the banner for Lumia Denim is gone. Overall, I'm happy with Windows 10. Seems stable enough to use as a daily driver, at least in my eyes. Wish I could thank ya again because your guide also showed me how to get xaps on my phone which I never cared to even try, before lol.

windows 7 is enough for this tutorial ,but sdk lite tool need .net 4.5.1 ,which comes with windows 8,
i preparing updatying tutorial to vanish all errors and some information on wp 10 preview features,stay tuned,you get t denim back if you rename rm-xxx but it stop insider for further updates

Microsoft recovery tool will replace already installed ROM, and work for onetime refurbish
using Nokia Care Suite and your downloaded ROM ,you can flash number of times if something went wrong.
Don't Restore Backup while you first installed wp 10 update and at the first time login ,it asked for restore ,skip that step
some users bricked at this stage, after complete installation you can try reset and second time you can restore

readers are misunderstanding the meaning of ' insted of "Windows Phone Recovery Tool" '
that mean don't use "Windows Phone Recovery Tool" '
use "Nokia Care Suite 5" to flash your rom

1. Deploy Custom_WPSystem.xap tool
2. In Hack Tool.zip, the Custom_PfD.xap file, save/place it in sd card.(just place, don’t deploy it!)
3.Now open Custom_WPSystem.xap tool. At startup you can see “SD Card permissions” as red color. Now click that , browse and select SDcard (just SDCard!) to apply permissions.
4.Now you can see “SD Card Permissions” as green color.
5.After changing SD Card permissions click on browse xap button.
6.Browse and select Custom_pfd.xap from SD card and click Apply XAP Button.
7.After successfully applying custom_pfd tool to preview for developers goto Preview for Developers apps.
8.Now your phone is hacked and you can edit registry of your WP8.1.

9.Browse to HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargettingInfo | you will see green bar as “You can edit here!”
10.Change these values of some this key.
– Change PhoneFirmwareRevision from default to ->>02055.00000.14511.22002 and click the write button.
– Change PhoneManufacturerModelName from default to ->> RM-984_1006 and click the write button.
– Change PhoneOperatorName from default to ->> 00-IN and click the write button.

Insider app must be installed on phone,
preview for developers app must be installed to SD CARD
Update worked on HTC8s (RIO) currently downloading to device as we speak...

lumia 810 here, everything went well until the phone restarted prior to install. After about 30min of spinning wheels, it returned the 80188308 error.
it was 8.1 preview for developers in factory reset only, will try from factory firm wp8.
Useless to try. Now, when I open windows insider and log in my ms account, the app crashes and exit.

Check your sys space, it must more that 300MB. if this not enought, you must flash your phone with Nokia Care Suite. Reset or Factory Reset not affected

it's over 4gb.
At first I was able to log in the insider then get the update, though, after downloading and half an hour of spinning wheels, I was getting an 08xxxx error whitch was common on early updates of wp8.1 due to lack of space. So I cleaned up the phone to factory specs. Now, I'm not able to log in the innsider app, as when I input username and password, the app craches. Even if there's no tweak at all.

Sys space not same with phone memory (internal). Again, it will be not affected by factory reset. You must re-flash your device with Nokia Care Suite (first point in the Top thread).
The Windows Insider force close because the update faild and no another way to fixing it without Flash your device using Nokia Care Suite

Don´t work
It don´t work with my Lumia 625. It come the Error
" the operation didn´t complete successfully...
Maybe the app can´t get permissions or
there´s some problems during extracting
files.
Try to:
>"SD Card permissions" button is GREEN

When I click OK it come the second error:
"Could not find a part of the path 'D:

For a long time I was read much topic about patching xap file (from paid app or trial app patch to free dev app) but these very much step, difficult for newbie. I decided to develop a tool to help you do that with only one step.
You must install or move app you want to patch to sd card first.
Deploy and open WPSystem app (attach in the bottom of topic), select SD card, press "done" button, press on the app name that you want to extract xap file. wait for completed!
The xap file patched and saved on Sd card, you can copy this xap file to pc for deploying, this app became free app. Yep, it's real.

doesn't work with some apps, especially with games, i have loop with the upper dots when the app patching

Had to deploy with Application Deployer 8.0
8.1 gave me an error on my 640

this app must a xap format (silverlight), not an appx format.
note that this process depend on your app size, so please wait for a time, it's may be long time

nothing here is for Windows 10 TP, the file system on 10 is different, it has locked download the access to WPSystem on SD card

no, you can't do this
this tool can only patch app that successfully installed from store

How about apps that aren't compatible with my device..Like I have a Nokia, but I want the HTC Notes app.

He asked about exclusiv apps from other manufacturers,e.g. HTC. Is your app able to patch those apps for Nokia/MS devices? (answer: no)
BTW nice app! You should mention on post #1 that the app has to be installed on phone storage not on the SD card.

thank you for your remind, this tool was created to install only on device (prevent install on sd card)
about the exclusive apps, he must interop unlock his device, and this tool is not for that

if the app not show on list, it isn't the "xap app format", rather called "appx format" (new format for Wp8.1 and W10) and this tool is not patch for this format.
about the name you see, yes, that is normal, you can rename the xap file

Why you don't add simple 2 words code for bocking SD Card to such tool.
Look out at VS2013. That code also works on 8.0 Silverlight.

did you mean prevent install app on SD card? yep, if you are developer I think you should to do this for securing your code

I wonder if this works on tetra lockscreen 1.2.0.0. If it does would give a way to get a patched xap of the app that everyone could use. If anyone still have this app and has and phone they can test would be really helpful. IF anyone know anyone pass the word to them.

You can't install old extras + info directly but you can probably do a hard reset . if it didn't work you have to re-flash your phone to an older version of WP . It contains old extras + info app .

how i can install on sd card after installing stock rom from Windows device rec. tool ...i can't see the extra info on the phone storage on phone memory..so it not happrned . by unistalling extra+info the latest vrn is download from store so,can't introp my lumia 720....

I have suggestion about that.
1) Delete new e+i by "100 year trick"
2) Copy old e+i store XAP to SD
3) Install it (MS said it will be possible to install old versions from SD)
Now you have old extras+info!

You know, extras+info patch method isn't the only method to interop unlock WP 8.1. Some made methods to perform interop unlocking by patching MixRadio or HERE Maps or PFD (Preview For Developers). Just search them here in XDA Developers Forums! Anyone can help out! ?

[1.0][EXE || APPX][16/01/2016] CustomEdgeFavs - Extend the functionality of MS Edge

CustomEdgeFavs helps you to extend the functionalities of Microsoft Edge by adding the bookmarklet features.
I've created two variants: the "Desktop" edition for Windows 10 PC and the "UWP" edition for Windows 10 Mobile.
They're quite similar, the only big difference is that Windows 10 Mobile needs an initial configuration to work.
UWP EDITION - INSTALLATION ON WINDOWS 10 MOBILE (DON'T USE ON DESKTOP)
1. Extract the zip file
2. Copy the files within your phone
3. From the File Manager on the phone, open the only appxbundle available and confirm
4. Wait some seconds: the app will appear within the app list
IMPORTANT TIPS AND ADVICES, READ CAREFULLY!!!
1. If you're having some permission problems while saving the lnk file, you can manually copy the lnk file by downloading the zip provided here.
2. You can install the appx on Windows 10 PC, but this will not work due to permission problems. Please use the Desktop Edition.
3. To allow Edge to recognize the changes, you've to remember the website where you've created the favourite. After the creation close and reopen Edge, navigate to that website, open and close the favouries (you can try to switch folder too) and then navigate to another website.
4. UWP edition doesn't require Interop-unlock to work.
5. You can't add or remove favourites from CustomEdgeFavs. You've to create or remove these directly from Edge and then edit with CustomEdgeFavs.
6. If you can't delete a bookmarklet, try to edit that again, then open Edge and try to delete before syncronizzation.
7. The favourites syncronizzation will work even with edited bookmarklets. Be careful as you can lose or damage your favourites.

Working fine on PC but........
I used the desktop app and it worked but its not installing in phone. I tried from file manager did not work and when I used Device Portal it shows me this error, " Failure reason: Failed to start deployment. Failure text: Package failed updates, dependency or conflict validation. (0x80073cf3) "

I did. The pop up for installing the apps comes up. once clicked it goes away and then nothing happens. I hard reseted and now trying again.

That's strange. Are you on build 10586 or higher?

i am on the latest build and had reseted the phone. i can still deploy other appx but not yours. Its working fine in PC though.

You'll find two appx within the zip file.
I think that you can install them from the file manager.

now its done but i had to do a bit tweaking.

Using dependency it worked but as i suspected the shortcut link you have given did not work. So i went into packages ( i made a short cut from PC and copied it to phone. i think you should make a shortcut from the address of edge bookmarks folder on PC ) . After that went to edge folder , roaming state. Voila your app shows me " Success "

Which path did you use? In my phone, the correct path is c:\Data\usera\DefApps.Windows Phone\AppData\Local\Packages etc... (the one available within C.E.F.)

i went packages and the Microsoft edge folder.
I tried your other apps before, those were nice. Device diagnostic hub should have a page showing running apps ( not system apps ) like task manager- lite

About Device Diagnostics HUB, I've merged the "apps" and the "processes" within the same list. I will add a filter within the next big update (I'm going to release a bugfix with some better translations soon, then I will release the 2.0 with a lot of new features). Mhm... this is the first time I see this problem.
Have you disabled some settings related to synchronization or you've done some updates from Windows Update? Try to reduce the numer/size of the favourites and their icons too
About the concept, unfortunately that's not possible, because it's possible to use only a picture and I can't add more options to the favourites list within Edge

Yes, perhaps there is any limit on the number of\a size. If you delete all the created tiles, the program again has earned (remove 1-2 tiles did not solve the problem). When the size of 70x70 pixels was created about 35 tiles.
About the update: the program has been installed on the build 14251. Then updated to 14257. The program works excellent, all created in the early build displays and new. Thank you

After 3 hours :Reduced the icons to 50x50 pixels. Created 19 tiles. Closed the program. Then again launched and again the sites ceased to appear.
