Here is what I did to downgrade from 6.0 to 5.0:
1- Download and Install all the required drivers

3- Download the Latest WW_ZE551ML_2.20.40.194_20160713.raw firmware [Mega Mirror]

4- Use the ASUS flash tool to flash the raw image
-Double click the ASUS flash tool Icon to launch it
-reboot your phone on bootloader mode and connect it to your PC
-Choose your device from the list which is in ASUS flash tool
-Locate the raw image
-Click on the serial number which appears on the screen within ASUS flash tool
-Select wipe data
-Click the start button to start flashing
-Wait until you see the message successfully flashed
Note that the whole flashing process takes about 6 minutes.

3.3 I recommend wipe data / factory after starting the device first time...

I had been running the MM beta up until this point. I just flashed the .184 RAW file. What made me go back you ask? I figured out that Google Opinion Rewards was not working. I can't live without that.
I can confirm that this method works for ZE550ML on mm beta .69 firmware. I downloaded AFT and flash RAW (Lollipop .149 firmware). Successfully downgraded bootloader unlocked and flashed CM13.
P.S. My status before downgrade was unrooted and bootloader locked and was on .69 mm beta build.

I found a one click bootloader unlock from xda. I downgraded to lollipop .149 firmware and the unlocked bootloader.

Also there's a method by shakalaca to unlock bootloader in mm beta. I haven't tried it personally because many report that their phones got bricked and most of them could be recovered by xFSTK method.

What u really need is fully stock (no change in system partition) . Only by unroot or flashing Stock recovery will not help as system partition is already changed . U need to flash stock rom through fastboot then flash lollipop manually unlocked or lock bootloader does not matter

The reason I'm asking is because i've Unlocked my bootloader and installed the latest version of TWRP 3.02.0 Z00A and I was on android 5.0 on stock ZenUI. I'm getting Error 7 everytime I try to install a ROM. I'm certain i'm installing the correct ROM for the device. I've also wiped the device, cleared the cache, ect. And still nothing. You need:
Adb and fastboot environment ready PC
LP RAW File
Android 6.0 Beta Unlock tool
Android 5.0 One-Click Unlock tool
First version of beta MM (Z00A) (Z008)
Official MM zip (find it on Asus site)
Thanks to all people upload these links
Just do the following:
Flash the lastest LP via AFT (using raw file given above), wipe all data. If you already on MM, you have to downgrade
Unlock your bootloader using 1 click tool given above
Boot to stock recovery and sideload the first version of beta MM
Unlock the bootloader using MM beta unlock tool above
Boot to stock recovery
Two case here:
Case 1: You can't boot stock recovery
Normally boot your phone (to Android)
Setup it as a new phone
If it shows there is a new firmware, don't update!!!
Enable Developer options, then enable usb debugging
Copy the official MM zip to external sd card
Open command prompt, run adb reboot recovery, accept the adb permission if prompted
After it boots to recovery, select Apply update from SD, then choose the zip file you've copied before
Wait for it to update, it may stuck at flashing splashcreen, don't worry, it's trolling you, may be Asus forgot to update the script
Goto step 7
Case 2: You can boot stock recovery
Sideload the official MM zip (adb sideload <filename>.zip)
Goto step 7
7. Flash this TWRP (fastboot flash recovery <twrp>.img)
8. Root your phone using this method
9. Reboot, if it shows "Your phone has failed verification bla bla..", then you've success. It may reset loop like note 7 in the first time start, don't worry.
9. Enjoy :highfive:
Note: If you're facing with battery problems on MM, factory reset it in Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory Reset > Erase everything

The warning screen is normal so don't worry and there is no way to fix it for now

Yes, BL will be relocked once you upgrade to MM.
If you want to unlock MM BL(6.0), refer to this thread.
Or you can downgrade to Lollipop referring to this thread. Then your BL(5.0) is unlocked.

so here´s the thing i stayed with the ROM for about 3 weeks and honestly..it works very well..but when i knew that 6.0 official was coming out i decided to go back to stock..i did it following manny tuturials avaliable for me to get my BL Re-Locked..but unsuccessfully..so i followed mr_gourav2000 tuturial (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/stock-rom-ul-z00a-ww-2-20-40-168-t3354526) and reverted to the WW_Z00A-2.20.40.183-to-2.20.40.184 (hopefully i can get the sshot in this post) version...since my BL is unlocked i can´t get no updates..my question is:
Is there anyway to go to MM 6.0 by ASUS with the current status of my phone?
is there anything i can do to revert this??

Just download the update package and rename it to mofd_sdupdate.zip, copy it to internal storage. Then reboot to stock recovery, the update will automatically start. This should work if you have lastest stock recovery

Have you downloaded the correct build? There are build for MM bootloader, if you flash the normal builds, it will fail and reboot to recovery again. Gapps is the same for all builds
After you install that special build, do not update to newer nightlies, it will fail. For updates, check the link i give you and see if there is a new MMBL build.

Run the script again (i gave you in above post). Download the CM13 in that link, not in the OP of CM13 thread. Flash that CM13 and Gapps (Gapps is universal for MMBL and LPBL).

About :
This Guide is for those, who wants to re-lock his/her bootloader for any of his/her reasons. But it will mostly help those who wants to avail Warranty Service without any cost.
I paid a visit to the Service center and i got to know that things you require is locked BOOTLOADER and BILL/INVOICE to avail bootloader apart from that the Device shouldn't be damaged or there shouldn't be any liquid inside it.

No need to falsh 1.9 Chinese zui just flash indian 2.0 and upgrade to nougat via system update notification your bootloader will be locked automatically.

First, Please don't quote the whole OP Post! Go have a look at threads on how to use XDA.
Second, No, flashing V1.9 - purely locks the bootloader. Flashing 2.0 won't lock it.
Service center people ain't that noob, so V1.9 method is given.

I apologise for quoting the whole op and I am not saying that flashing 2.0 zui locks bootloader but if you update to 2.5 zui via official update with unlocked bootloader after updating you bootloader will be locked as stock.

But I have locked my bootloader like that and successfully repaired my charging port in the service centre which was fired up and only charges from my laptop. Maybe that method didn't worked for you because you haven't tried it yet!

Is there a way to force updates. By the update app shows that I'm already having latest version

Clear Cache of Update App, and reboot.
Or a better way download 2.5 Stock recovery update!

No only way by which some people got update was Trying to download from China Vpn.

Hi, I will show you the most easiest way to get oreo update (emui 8).
you must have installed twrp and unlocked bootloader.

As per my guide, you only lose it if you're rebranding to AL/DL (chinese). Rebranding from L02, L04 to L09 is perfectly safe (I'm running L09C10 on my L04)
So best way to get Oreo on L04 is to rebrand with this method and redlotus to the Russian EU firmware and everything will work?

I rebranded FRD-L02 to FRD-L19C10 and tried above steps. Installed Oreo by redlotus method. But got "data corrupted" menu and I formatted data. Now phone won't boot. Then I tried unlocking bootloader and phone booted. But sw version still shows B95 and its on Oreo. Looks like cust/region part is not flashed. Tried installing Twrp 3.2.1.0 and the one in Multi-tool, but phone won't boot to recovery. Its going into error mode. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

If you look at the XML File you used for the RedLotus method, you can see that there are two versions in it (L09C10 and L19C10). I suppose that's the reason why it's bugging for you.
Don't know for sure though. Trying that method now too, will report back if that's really the problem.

Why redlotus? Do it as in tutorial. Download three packages then flash by tutorial in my thread.(link is there). I meant flashing by modified Huawei recovery.

2. Perform a complete factory reset in TWRP.

Doesn't work for me. Always results in a bootloop with "Your device is unlocked..." etc.
Same with RedLotus too. I don't know if it's the firmware you linked or the recoveries, but ehh... nah, probably gonna go back to where I was before.

Step 3. Download latest naugat 3 files for L09C10. Means last naugat that was released right before oreo in FF.

Just to be clear, since I prefer not to f this up...this will pretty much let me rebrand from FRD-L04 without the need for a computer correct? Also these step you've laid out don't require any of the steps posted in the OP?
