XPOSED make boot loop in new MIUI8
>Redmi note 3 MIUI8 Globle DEV : XPOSED make boot loop after installing<
Now i'm using 7.7.20, but in a older version of MIUI before a few month ago, there is a problem with install xposed. From that version on, my phone will fall into a loop of booting when i flash xposed. Someone told me do not use the ROM after 29th, December, 2016. However, no enough old version for me. I'm confused now.
Thanks for reading.
Opps,i'm very sorry that i find i have posted in the wrong way instead of FAQ area. Please gnore it.

Hello guys
I am new on here.
I have a kenzo phone.
I was a xiaomi.eu user but now I am using lineage os 14.1 + radon kernel
Can someone recommend our advise which combo (ROM+kernel) is the best for battery life and stable?

please look carefully in the website, Halogen OS is also known as XOS ROM now
Can I suggest you to share the direct link here, without redirection to another source site that aren't related to mentioned ROM development, please?
How did you get Arsenic kernel to work on AOSP by YumeMichi? Or is this some sort of older version of his ROM?
Sadly the one that got FM Radio until now is AOSP Oreo? Isn't it?
Both Validus GZR and XOS ROM (Halogen OS) suffer from the nightly freeze bug. With Halogen OS the phone isn't recognized by PC when connected with USB cable.
Cool !
I suggest you to share your link here :

Or if you allow me, I'll share it there.

It's the first version. Last one from the 19th nov has Sultan's kernel.
Works pretty good for me.

Same problem with Screwd and DU12
Do any of these have the OOS 3 HAL?
XOS 8 (Halogen OS) has been updated by developer Chinmay (all credits to him) 24.11.2017 15:00 (Links are removed by Chinmay, sorry folks)
DU v12 has been updated by @NeroD (Thank him folks!) 24.11.2017 18:00

Sorry for that, the origin maintainer (Chinmay) has deleted it. I cannot do anything against it :good:
Why is no one posting all this on XDA and I know about the GZR on google plus where does the discussion and stuff take place for the other ROMs?
Where did you found those roms? i can't find any thread on this forum, i'd like to know more info before flashing a straight rom from a link from a list..

As far as I understand most of the ROMs aren't official (they're not made by the device's official maintainers). Unofficial builds are usually only allowed on Google+ pages.

Nope that's not the case. It's been 4 years since I've joined xda and I've seen uncountable number of unofficial rom threads.

Have you ever seen duplicate threads? For example GZR ROMs already have a threat and a maintainer of the OPX. It wouldn't make sense to create a new one for Oreo. The only other explanation I have is that the unofficial builds are "too beta" for xda users

Very nice.:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Curious to see how this firmware is.
Been running it for 3 or 4 days now and going to stick with it for a while. The smoothest ROM ive tried to date with not a single hint of UI lag/stuttering and no major issues that Ive found during everyday use. Cant wait for more updates...kudos GZR!
@scoobyjenkins How would you convince a user on Stock OOS with Stock kernel to switch to Validus ?

I would simply say to try it! I personally prefer to customise the look of my devices while still having a smooth experience with good battery life and Validus gives me that. I haven't spent much time with OOS but it does seem smooth, yet I miss the extra features I'm accustomed to. Plus, updates tend to be regular for popular devices, especially in beta phase, so regular security patches come with that too.
The post #1 states Rom kernel is 3.10.x !?

This thread is old, but there are still pie builds for Validus by Ground Zero Rom's in development. The dedicated thread for dumpling that used to reside at Custom ROM Central --> Ground Zero ROMS --> Ground Zero ROMS Development seems to have been removed. The latest Validus build., released August 25th, can be found here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117944671 I hope posting a link is okay with @scoobyjenkins.

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at Github and at Gerrit.
Pre-Disclaimer:
THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL BUILD. Please keep any problems with those builds in this thread, we don't accept any bugreports for unofficial builds anywhere else.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
Notice:
Before you flash, backup everything important of your device, then flash the ROM in TWRP.
MORE IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are very proud to announce that we are the first and only custom ROM to actually get the Now Listening Feature working on AOSP.
Working ?
Almost everything.
Not working ?:
Selinux enforcing.
Led notification
Else, try this and if you find then report with Logcat.
Download and Installing:

Latest GAPPs http://opengapps.org (Optional)

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Installation
1. Just like every other rom.
2. You already know what to do.
3. You can go now and Carbonise yourself!
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.

CarbonRom is a Multi National Company now, and I find myself really puny and not worthy of maintaining such high end custom ROM. I failed you sir Andy Rubin
@engloa sir please close this thread as soon as you can!
@LenAsh sir please see if you could ask a moderator to close this!

This rom is now dead??? Just planning on trying this rom because the one I'm using seems dead and my device keeps restarting itself... I think I made a wrong choice buying this device. All roms I tried are dying one by one... bummer
