Hello guys, I wanted to underclock my friend's austrian GT-i9301i so I wanted to root it and unfortunately I also wanted to back up with TWRP, but I rooted with auto-cf so I installed the twrp manager from google and it wanted to patch SD card and now I got a hard brick...
Anyways, I found a method wich hopefully will work but I need a debrick.img from a working GT-i9301i, just please read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-neo/help/request-i9300i-user-t2909760 and upload the img for me please? It was my friend's phone and I really don't want to destroy his phone completely :crying:

hi, i have a bricked i9300i s3 neo. I don't have a custom recovery but i am rooted. M phone boots into download mode and into STOCK recovery but it does not get recognized on PC.
will this work for me?

Question: where do you get all this files from? Because we can't just take things from other roms. That is forbidden. So fo you made it yourself?

These are problems that we have already met some Rom's also the black status bar , we had this worry on the Rom imperium , I recovered the TouchWiz an article and not a rom. The smart manager is one of origin but rather than put it into priv-app I place the smart manager in app where I have no worries in terms of the gallery is a file that a colleague us provides to address the concerns of gallery , it also works well for S5 or S6 gallery , it is not part of a specific rOM.
So these are files that I always keep aside in case ...

So have fun with that one. And I wont add that sms limit, you can do that with wanam xposed, that's why xposed is an aroma option

It is (on galaxy S4 Launcher), about the S6 launcher I don't know, never used it.

No it doesn't. Everything else is stock (what is not mentioned in festures)

I (have to be) using the ROM of artas182, because it's the only ROM which working encryption (that I could find till now).
But it is a port from Galaxy S5, so everything there looks huge. I have downloaded a program to reduce the DPI. The icons
got smaller, but there is a huge border of wasted space around everything and the grid of the home screen and the apps
is still 4x5.
Can please anyone kindly provide a modded TouchWizHome.apk for Marshmallow with a 5x5 or 5x6 grid ?
I found a few others, but when I tried them by replacing my original TouchWizHome, it simply says TouchWizHome has
stopped working. I even tried to wipe Dalvik cache once, but it didn't help
I have also tried installing S Launcher, but sorting the icons is quite cumbersome and I think it made my phone slower.
PLEASE help me with this, I will be very very thankful!

Go to threads of S5; themes & apps section, go to grace ux app and download Launcher of note 7. Fast,smooth, low size than default.

Hello and many thanks for your reply. Yes, I would like to give it a try !! Can you please post a download link ? Why is it not smooth ? Do you think that it won't be crashing with TouchWizHome has stopped ?
I have changed the DPI with an app from 480 (which was default of the artas ROM) to 400. The original TouchWizHome from the ROM isn't crashing, but it leaves a big frame of wasted space around it. Will your TouchWizHome match my DPI setting of 400 ?
Till now I have tried S Launcher and Next Launcher. Both are cool and working fine, but unfortunately they are not comfortable to use, as it's not possible to add screens in the app drawer - for example, I keep the apps which come with the ROM on a separate screen, games as well and here I don't have this possibility.

Sorry, I am not sure that I fully understand you. Is there ONLY TouchWizHome .apk posted ? And what is Grace UX ? I went a little bit through the topics and I have come to the conclusion, that Grace UX is a whole ROM. So you probably mean, that I should download that whole ROM and exctract TouchWizHome.apk and replace that in my ROM ? Is that correct please ?

Thanks a lot, but now even the ROM's own TouchWizHome began crashing constantly and I don't know how to return back to Next Launcher Please advise! Thank you!

OK, due to some weird reason, this won't work. I've reset my phone and restored a backup (which is with the old DPI settings). Now I've put your file, set the permissions and rebooted - I found myself in the so called easy screen, where the icons are even much bigger than before
Android 6 is the most frustrating phone experience I ever had!
Isn't there an Android 4.3 ROM for this phone ? I found one on google, but unfortunatly it didn't boot Thank you!

S5 port is the best. I dont know what u did wrong. U shoud rename the file same as old touchwiz launcher.

Anyway if U want to flash stock firmware of samsung always use this site than sammobile. Sammobile doesnot provide 4files firmware so it may create issues after boot. Choose your galaxy note 3 model number and download any android version u want. But backup everything on internal storage. Best of luck

Both are cool and working fine, but unfortunately they are not comfortable to use, as it's not possible to add screens in the app drawer - for example, I keep the apps which come with the ROM on a separate screen, games as well and here I don't have this possibility.

Clear cache and data for touhwizhome then go to recovery mode..

Anyway if U want to flash stock firmware of samsung always use this site than sammobile. Sammobile doesnot provide 4files firmware so it may create issues after boot. Choose your galaxy note 3 model number and download any android version u want. But backup everything on internal storage. Best of luck

Thank you. Just I have Android 4.3 on my old phone (SGS3) and it's just perfect. Everything works. This is why I'd like to have it on my Note 3 as well. The model is SM-N9005. I tried at least 10 custom ROMs and it's such a scan - encryption simply doesn't work nowhere !!! Terrible !!!
This website you sent me - what format are the ROMs ? I have TWRP and I don't plan on flashing stock recovery, as it's soooo lame. I downloaded once a stock ROM but it wasn't a .zip and I somehow couldn't flash it.

Which S5 port ? Do you mean the one by artas ? I don't know what I did wrong either. But it's the same with all TouchWizHome.apk files I tried. I am renaming it to exactly that name and I am making the permissions 664, just as the original ROM and then baaaaaang, stopped working once I reboot!
Anyway, I think I'll stay with my current setup - 400 DPI and Next launcher. I'll just live with the fact that I can't have the games on a separate screen :-/

I'm using substratum on Touchwiz. Through this method you can theme only apps, not the system. Here is the method: BEFORE DOING THIS PLEASE TAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SYSTEM, IM NOT NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM CAUSED BY THIS METHOD. AND IF IT WORKS, ALL CREDIT GOES TO 'Gravedigger'

2. Apply substratum theme
3. Reboot
4. Go to system/vendor/overlay. Copy the files and move it to dada/overlay/style and then again data/overlay/current style.
5. Roboot
6. Apply the same substratum theme again, reboot and smile.

Works fine for me on an S8. I followed the directions exactly and it works. (G950F)
Two things to mention: you must have a Samsung theme currently active and you have to put the substratum APKs in the active Samsung theme folder in data/overlay/style and data/overlay/currentstyle

SUCCESS!!!
I managed to install as per the procedure on post 1 on Stock Rooted Note 5. As per point 6. to reapply substratum theme I reapplied the same theme i had installed thru samsung theme store and ReBooted it. Its very nice.
To revert back just delete the apk from all files as pe post 1 and reboot. U will get the theme U had installed B4.
I did smile indeed! Swift Black is the way to go

i dont know becoes i have not the hardware.
I saw that and realized it's the rom I've been using. The guy in charge .. horrible at replies. I think I bricked my watch now.

its a edit of janjanś rom the lte EU version.
to make it working just format the watch system/data.. and u will need to restore the included vendor "firmware" from the twrp backup
anyways i did mention in the post its for EU .. im sure you can unbrick it with fastboot the backup does not include any bootloader changes

Sooo, how did you get rootpayenabler to work... ive tested your image, it works fine. but i went back to Janjan, i think it has to many apps, it just feels to bloated sorry.
but Gpay works on your ROM!. and i still cannot get it to work on JanJan official ROM witch is a little weird

Hello, I managed to get the rom on watch, now its working! But how can I enable google pay on it? When I set up my card, phone says "This phone can't be used to pay in stores. This may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way." Thank you!

Getting further by dowloading a superuser and installing it as a zip via twrp, but exacly when in the process i should use the commands so the watch wont update?
