For those curious, only Deodexed roms can support xposed framework
With xposed + Inteli3g, and after running a debloated script, my note 4 is very fluid (even with TouchWiz) and last 2 days without effort...

I'm currently using a deodexed ROM with xposed and wanam on my N9100. Most things works, except changing stuff colors.
The only thing about this ROM is that the extra settings app already pre-installed (similar to wanam but better) is in chinese, so very difficult to work with (if any chinese member could translate it would be great ).

yes, unfortunately only english and chinese.
a week ago I intalled another ROM that had multilanguage with Language Enabler but I can't honestly remember if I also installed xposed on it or not... I think so, but not sure. if you want to give it a look see the post #36 on THIS thread.

yes, totally agree. i'm very noob at this xda forum and don't want to do anything wrong but couldn't we create a subsection in the "Samsung Galaxy Note 4" section to group things about this specific model N9100?
Everything is mixed and scattered making it very hard to find usefull information and gatter efforts to improve things.
i believe this 5.1.1. ROM just came out for the n9100. i can't be sure if it supports dual sim or not cause the chrome translation is not that clear.
can someone check the page and check this?

I have :
SM-N9100 - Hong Kong.
Updated the device to CHINA - OPEN N9100ZCU1COK1 - 5.1.1 build.
Did a DIRTY flash using Odin.
Install is successful.
No Issues found.
Phone looks less hot more responsive. Good Rom.
RAM usage has lowered as compared to 5.0.1
No network issues. Using 4G Delhi Circle.
Installed GAPPS-PA for 5.1.1
As of now, unable to root the rom.

Finally there is one more rom for our s7 slim users . Its not to much but it is really good mod. I've just install it and it seems to be good. Bigger fonts very fast but you need to change the language when you install it. Name of the mod is zmey its downloaded from belarus forum, everything you need is on android tablets . net, just go to huawei ideos s7 slim technical section and six post in line name "New Rom--Simlified Edition of Zmey Mod from Belarus!"I'm a new so i can't post any links. I just made pirate 2.5.5 boot on s7-104 first wiped out the system entirely then installed pirate 2.5.5 from recovery.
Warning the system will not boot now But if you pull battery then Hold Volume + and Power it will go to Fastboot.
You will then need the boot.img from belarus Cyanogenmod 7 port
then type fastboot erase boot
fastboost flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
My tablet just reloaded with Pirate 2.5.5 and Cyanogenmod Settings in the settings so far only camera not working everything else is so bit more fiddling try find a workaround for the camera

I restore them using titanium backup. But those backup files came from the trizet ROM which I used earlier.

If coming from an older version of MIUI then you do not need to full wipe. He releases a new version every week/Friday...here is the main page. Search for the latest date and go into that folder. In this case it's 5.1.9(date being 1/9/2015)...Our phone is named "dior". Every week you can go in and get the latest build. Just flash that in recovery without wiping your data and everything will stay intact. You will need to flash the latest SuperSU zip along with the ROM to maintain root or use the built in root app. The fact that you are rooted now does not matter.

Yes you can use Philz to wipe. Don't flash gapps. They're already included in these MIUI builds and it could cause issues.

Then with your mx4 file explorer, choose the file. execute it...
After it's automatic....
The file name must be update.zip. if it's not the case, rename it before....

You can install A version on your mx4. The différence between international version is some chinese apps. You can uninstall them after installing a A version.
Remember that if you pass on beta version...it's test version. They're fully functionnal, but there is still some bugs.
4.2.6a version for mx4 is a beta version....no?
I have a mx4 pro. So i can't give you advice about 4.2.6a for mx4.

Theres at least three betas out at the moment, not sure which that one is, but i have 4.2.8.2A B3.
Keep in mind you can only update to these builds if your current firmware version does not end in "i". The i phones can only flash "i" firmware, all other versions - A, U, C and Y can flash any firmware but i.

Thats not completly correct, the international mx4 can also install A,U and C firmwares.

Thanks man, useful. Tell me, what do you know of the softkeys? Or am i going to have to edit the framework to get an always-on nav bar? Any way to have a bar in the home app? Some xposed module maybe? Dont know anything about xposed beyond the technical stuff.

I don know, I am really used to the Flyme central button controls, so I haven't use any softkeys or anything like that.

Nah looks like i would manually need to change the framework... tried the module its pretty useless beyond changing status bar positions. At least for my needs.

There is a multilanguage, debloated ROM available for our phone that is a much better starting point than flashing the Chinese ROM and debloating it manually. It is based on 5.6.014S release. It comes with Google Apps, SuperSU, Adblock, System app remover and a few other features preinstalled. It also offers OTA updates (one just arrived today). I have been testing it for a past few days and can wholeheartedly recommend it!
Just flash the ZIP through TWRP:

Note that installing Xposed framework from official thread will prevent GUI to start.

It is based on 5.6.014S release (I updated the original post). But it seems to me that it is more of a series rather than a one shot release. The guy has been maintaining it for multiple LeEco devices and providing updates for some time. Can't find much about it in English though.

Just note that you don't have to bother putting SuperSU/GApps on the phone and flashing it as they are integrated in the the ROM.

Like I said, it's a better starting point for those who are flashing new ROM. Otherwise it looks and works the same as official 14s. I really like the approach though. The modifications are very light and unobtrusive. You will just see some added menus in the settings, like Dolby Atmos support (not that I care for it). But it clearly gets some love from the author. You get OTA updates with a clear changelog and new features. Yesterday's update added multi-user support and fingerprint-based app unlocking and a spell checker. Probably it's mostly a matter of unlocking MM features that were disabled by LeEco. But it's great someone is tinkering with it!
On official i could install xposed and grafitybox, but on cuoco it comes an error after booting. System Interface error.

I flashed this ROM and it worked good. And the playstore force closure stopped. But there is a lot of languages but no Swedish language. Is that fixable? Is it possible to flash just the language?

It's the app that called "Updates" I think. But I got my Olas popped up in notification bar..
The "Update" app disappear after I got the third OTA, Is that the same problem to you? Maybe the "update" app only appear when there is a OTA?

On my phone it's where it was after V28 update. Pretty sure it's supposed to remain visible as it has a GUI in which you check and download updates manually.

Confirmed. Fortunately, someone released Xposed v79 compatible with this ROM. I tested on V28 and it seems to work.

i'm planning to buy ZUK EDGE from Zuk Official Shop (http://www.zukmobile.cc/buy-zuk-mobile.html)
I'm just concerned about 2 things before my buying :
- Android 7.0 (for the multiwindow mode mainly)
- Multilanguage ROM (French language mostly)
I asked (and a lot of people too did) on the questions page but the people who are answering are once saying "multilanguage is available" and sometimes "just english & chinese".
They updated the sheet recently and it seems clear that Android 7.0 is preinstalled. But which build? They are unclear about it.
I did some researchs on the internet and i found that the most recent and stable build of Android 7.0 for ZUK EDGE is : ZUI 2.5.406
It is apparently bringing every features of Android 7.0, the ability to show "on-screen buttons" (back, menu, app view), and even multilanguage...
Do you have a link to download this 2.5.406 ROM for ZUK EDGE ? Does someone already have it / tried it ?

For what I have seen so far, you'll have to choose between ZUI 2.5 or multi languages. The custom rom are built on 2.3.
Only official rom is 2.5 (my phone came with 2.3 but there was an update ready for 2.5).
I try the 2 Italian rom mention in other post, there is French.
The CM have French too. I'm back on official 2.5,camera is a bit better.

With the OTA,of the update app of zui.
But if you're already rooted, that won't work, you'll need to use the qualcomm tool QTFIL I think, i found the tuto on zuk fan europe I'll try post the link later.

when i open "system Update", it just crashes. my phone goes to first screen.
my phone is Not rootet and bootloader is lock.

I'm just a forum follower, I'm useless with out a good tuto....
From memory it is the official zuk rom, so locked bootloader might work.
fyi, to open the port for qfil i struggle a bit, and once open you need to start the download very very quicly, less than a second....good luck with that.

yes. the original Rom have a lot of chinese apps but u can uninstall them easily

it's Ok with every thing. i had some crashes and notification issues with my previous ROM. but this Rom is Ok with everything

What i am confused about is the phone is advertised as being released with Android 7.0 and i purchased mine directly from ZUK and they say it's Android 6.0, how is that possible? Did anyone here buy official ROM and if so was there an update to 7.0?

I purchased mine directly from zukmobile.cc and it came with Android 6.0 and no updater app or update option in settings. I flashed the latest ZUI from my previous post using this process and it worked perfectly:

Official? I think so anyway, see my post on the previous page. It has English on it you just have to select it manually in settings.

No, I just downloaded QPST and watched the video on mute. You can see everything he's doing.
Ok so i got the phone and it has Android 7.0 out the box! All is good with that. But i have an issue with "ok google" it is greyed out. Anyone?
Also i am trying to use Flixter movie app and it saying location not set, when i am inputting a postal coder it says i should be more specific, and when i put in a city it states the same. Anyone?! Any help would be appreciated.
