you can get a circle case which includes a back for about 2quid on ebay. Up to you if you want to remove the front or not. The qi and nfc stickers are £2.55 including delivery so order one in case removing it goes wrong.

Has any one had experience of the ones on eBay UK couple on there what's the fit and finish like?

Ordered but not arrived. I'll let you know when I get one.

Nice one thanks

Problem with the cheapest ones is the wait for them to arrive from HK!!

New Back Cover

I have recently dropped my phone, and two of the clips that keep the back cover over the battery clipped off, so it easily falls off now. Is there any place I can buy a new one??

Don't forget the movistar one don't have the GPS and lenses cover, you have to bring it from your old cover.
How much was shipping? Let me know when you get it, if it fix your phone, I'm getting one myself.

Seidio like case, but avaliable in the UK?

As the title suggests, im about to get a new kaiser in good condition and seeing how my last kaiser faired with my lifestyle id like to get a rubberised case for the phone.
Searching & reading up has told me the Seidio case is a good idea, but shipping to the Uk doubles the price to nearly $60, a tad silly imo.
Does anyone know where i could source this case/a similar one within the UK?
cheers guys
edit:
Ebay brought up this, but at nearly £29 its too much;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seidio-Rubber...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318
please guys, someone from the Uk must have a decent rubberised case. iv read all the horror stories about the cheap ones on ebay & amazons and would like to avoid those pitfalls.
I bought twice a cheap one from China through ebay and everything was OK, including fast shipping. If you're interested, let me know and I might find the seller.
if you could that'd be great mate thanks!

I had in mind that it was from China but it was from USA. The seller was http://myworld.ebay.ch/unclesamdeal/. According to the picture on this link http://cgi.ebay.ch/Fr-HTC-TILT-8925-RUBBER-BLACK-CASE-LCD-SCREEN-PROTECTOR_W0QQitemZ390021076574QQihZ026QQcategoryZ20336QQcmdZViewItem, it seems to be the same cases i bought six months ago, without the screen protector.

I have this case. Good case but one problem. The tabs that hold the case to the phone can easily snap off so the case is not held securely on. More of a problem with the top and not the bottom but a pain none the less.
Have been looking at this case(think it comes from uk).

with P&P comes to about £27.

Just be aware, manufacturer's warranty only applies to the original owner, when considering 2nd hand. I would suggest if you choose that route to make sure that you make arrangements with the original owner in case the need for use of the warranty.

Bulk interest Philips Qi charger??

I'm sorry guys, just checked the stock again and almost all the stores in the country are empty now I suspect that some Dutch people who read this thread quickly got one themselves or something. A store which had 4 yesterday, now has 0 and normally these chargers never sell fast. I still have two reserved which I will offer to the people that first responded (will contact you soon).
Sorry again! I really hate that this happened but I couldn't go and bought some yesterday without knowing if people are interested and being stuck with them.
Admin plz lock this topic!
Hi all,
The Philip Qi charger just got discounted here in The Netherlands to €20, this one: http://www.philips.co.uk/c/-/-dlp7210b_10/prd/en/consumer
However, shipping to the US is normally very expensive (0 to 2kg = €19,95). But if I strip the chargers from their packaging and only send the charger/powersupply I can fit about 7 in the box which results in $32 (€23) total costs. I know another XDA user (dralways) who arranged the N4 and N10 for me I could ship the chargers to him so you could pick it up (stillwater, oklahoma) at his house or he could ship it from within the US.
This topic is to see if there is any interest as I know quality Qi chargers are very expensive in the US and I like to help you guys out.
You can have it for $32 (€23) but I always appreciate a small tip for my troubles ? I will test them all before shipping. Payment is through PayPal if we can gather enough people to proceed.
About the charger: it has a very good build quality and charges as quick as the normal USB charger. Output of the Qi charger is 1 A or 1000 ma compared to the 1.2 A or 1200 ma of the stock USB charger, so very close. Furthermore, one of the stronger Qi chargers I've seen. I don't have any troubles to get my phone to 100% (some chargers are reported to charge only to somewhere in the 90s). I will try to post some pictures tonight!
Let me know, if you are interested!
Rob
UPDATE:
I can probably fit one charger in a large padded envelope, shipping to the US would be €9,50 so if you prefer to have it send straight to your home we are talking about $40 (€29,50). For other countries, just contact me for a shipping price. The stock at the stores is very limited (I know someone who works at one of the stores and can check the stock of others) so I've to look, depending on demand, how much I'm able to get. If I can get interest in 7 devices total for bulk then that one has priority,
Users interested (need to have interest for 7 units total):

Hallu, see link above
@nateysmith it works wonderful here, haven't had any problems with it. Note that the charging output is 1 A (or 1000 ma) which is very close to the 1.2 A (1200 ma) of the USB charger. Most Qi chargers have a lower output.

What is the connection like from the mains to the charger? Is it something I might already have (MicroUSB? I can dream...) or would I need to find a mains adapter to use it in Canada?

Nope, I can fit one in a large envelope. 2 is always possible but then the shipping costs are €19.95. That is why I'm trying to get a bulk of 7 shipped to dralways in the US so let me know what you want.
I will try to buy as many chargers as I can get this week, so far I have 2 reserved in one store and 2 in another. There is a possibility that I can get 3 - 4 more available in another store, so stay tuned!
Would love to get 3 to germany. I send you a PM
n00b status, but PM sent. Thanks. :good:

Update to help anyone out there looking for a new oem battery. I took a chance and bought one off eBay and it seems to be good and ships from USA, it looks identical to the original one except they put black tape over the name Huawei which I just peeled off. The sellers eBay name is 8-50855. Good luck!

And? Have you installed and tested it? How was that fiercely glued down battery
When you complete the R&R and test it please let us know how it went.
Sorry me saying seem to be good meant that it is installed and working good, like when new. Yes installing and removing the old battery is a bit of a bear I got it done by watching some YouTube videos. Anyways I bought my 128gb phone used and I'm out of warranty so.. Haven't run it down really low yet cause its lasting all day not like my old battery. Cheers
