Are you sure that you have a I9505 and not a I9500, I9505G, I9506 or I9508 as there is a different Pit file and firmware for each. You can check at the top of the screen in download mode. And that the firmware you tried to flash was also for the correct model.

Dxlf is name of your firmwarwe.
For flashing via odin you need to(its not compulsory)choose firmwares based on region.
If you are on your stock rom that came with your phone then note the baseband and build versions of your phone in settings-about phone and accordingly choose your packages.

i downloaded an official firmware two times and recently an unofficial one but error still exists.
i tryed a pit file that re-partition my device and after restart i'm saw no changes.
i have TWRP too but it can do anything and say's Internal Storage have 0 MB Space at all.
anyone can help please?
i'll be happy if someone give me another .pit file for this version of android i had.

Go into TWRP, choose wipe, then choose the advanced wipe option. Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik. Make sure you have a ROM to flash after you do so, this will remove the operating system
Has this guy solved? Since he can boot into twrp where it should be the problem? I ve seen some posts and some step is missing... if twrp says 0mb storage, are u sure u selected the right storage?
thanks for helping.
TWRP recently couldn't access any storage on device and recently not coming up by pressing power + volume up + home

Yeah ofc, just download odin for your phone, find stock rom here http://live.samsung-updates.com/ download, go to odin check pda etc (i think you know how to flash rom in odin) then go download mode and flash. After it you have clear phone, stock rom , no recovery , no root.

Hey everyone,
Apologise for asking this question ! As it has been covered before from my research but not exactly and I am still quite confused so I'd greatly appreciate some insight from you guys.
Basically I have a stock i9505 which has gone into bootloop, it is not rooted and not modded in any way.
I've tried to enter recovery mode and wipe cache partition but it did not work, so I can do a factory reset, but a factory reset with stock recovery will wipe all of my data off my internal SD card.
I have downloaded odin but there a few different opinions as to what I should be doing, some threads say I should install CWM and run ADB to fetch the files. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498228&page=2)
Another opinion is that I should use Odin to flash a stock rom
"Install a stock ROM through Odin, as Odin doesn't wipe user data when a ROM is installed. If you want to play it safe however, install TWRP first and make a nandroid backup onto your MicroSD card. Then install the stock ROM."
(From this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help/recover-data-soft-bricked-s4-i9505-t3236351)
Would someone be able to point me toward the correct process for recovering my files? I will appreciate it immensely.
Thanks very much!

It is the UK unlocked LTE version. I think the version number currently on the phone is i9505xxuhoj2 . However every place I have tried to DL from is one of those sites where you must sign up or it gives you an impractically low speed (sporadic connection means it cuts off the download quite quickly).

Live demo units are so limited and so far from being a real phones, your phone model is i9505X, so it's not i9505 and so, you won't be able to flash custom ROM on it.

I read your message very well, just "i9505 demo" seems complicating, as the live demo version of the i9505 is the i9505X that's all what i was saying, so if you're sure you have a i9505 phone, then it's not demo.
Back to your problem:
1-what recovery are you using? If TWRP then what version?
2-what rom did you try to flash? And what did you wipe before flashing?

Ok, what TWRP are you using? you should flash android 6 or 7 with the latest TWRP 3, not with an older version, also for stock rom you should download it from a trusted site like sammobile.com, or samsung-firmware.org, other than those i wouldn't recommend, and use Odin 3.07 or 3.09, those versions works for everyone.

OK, did you format system partition as ext4 in TWRP?, f2fs may have problems with system partition.

In advanced wipe menu, Mark the system partition, then press the button at the bottom that says "repair or change file system", and choose EXT4 then format the system, and see if that works, if it didn't work, try doing the same for /data and /cache partitions.

OK, last suggestion is, download the most latest firmware for your phone from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin, and then try the twrp flashing thing again.
Maybe you have an old bootloader.
