[Q] Cannot install any rom / cannot restore to stock (T-Mobile D801) - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Long story short, I deleted my backup rom (Don't ask Please cause I already know)
I am running TWRP 2.6.3.2 and it does NOT let me install any rom (4.3 or 4.4) I constantly get the error (Error executing updater binary in zip) for every rom zip I have downloaded.(AOKP)(PA)(CM 11) etc...
I've tried the Return to stock guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 in General Discussion, and I consistently get stuck @ 49% when restoring the firmware.
I also cannot get the LG Mobile support tool to download a new firmware for the phone itself.
I do have access to sideload via TWRP but it is useless because every rom gives me an error.
Do I have any options left or do I just call it a week and enjoy my $600 paper weight?
Please any help would be much appreciated!

Can you get into download mode? If so, the LG Mobile Launcher should work. Make sure you have the latest drivers downloaded from LG. It should also be in the thread about using the Mobile Launcher. I couldn't get it to work at first because I didn't install the latest drivers. Just plugging in the phone to your PC won't do it. Also, if you do get it to work, the firmware that will be installed will be d80110g, not d80110c that came with the phone. There is no info about this version other than the thread I started about it. Code Hustler tweaked ioroot to root this version and it is in the thread. Just search "T-Mobile software update" in the general section if you do get it installed. Good luck!

Sideload the latest twrp recovery and then pick your rom and retry make sure you are correctly wipeing systen dalvik and chache

Whenever I try to use the upgrade, it never even asks me for my IMEI , it says stuck displaying: Downloading software, but it never downloads anything. It could be a driver issue. There is just so many links on here maybe I really haven't installed the correct drivers??
Any links to drivers that works would be very nice if possible!

Problem Resolved / My Solution
Okay, after 12+ hours of trying every method possible on XDA I finally resolved my issue. I will update the first post just incase any others care or fall into the same dilemma I was in.
The LG Mobile Support tool would not download the firmware and it would NOT ask me for my IMEI to download it either.
So my solution....
***
Installed LG Mobile Support Tool then Installed the LG Drivers.
BEFORE I connected the phone to the computer. I opened the LG Mobile support tool clicked (Options on the top right).
When the dropped down opened, I clicked the (Upgrade Recovery) option. THEN, is when the prompt opened to ask me what my IMEI is.
Before I entered my IMEI, I connected my phone to the computer, then proceeded to enter my IMEI and hit OK.
This is when the LG Mobile Support tool SUCCESSFULLY downloaded the latest official LG firmware and installed it.
*** BE AWARE, with the phone connected to the PC, the prompt NEVER appeared to enter my IMEI.
*** But with the phone disconnected, the prompt came up every time. This might be the trick for some people.
*** with the IMEI prompt opened, I then connected the phone , entered the IMEI, then hit OK. BOOM HERPES....
Well I'll polish this up more later. I hope this works for every LG G2 Variant and not just the T-Mobile one (D801)
-Esteef

Well, good to hear that your phone works again... I see CM nightly has some TWRP install script in lastest build, and a TWRP version for CM 10.2 and CM11...

[Q] [REQ] DLL for flashing D805 10B TOT file through LG Flash Tool 1.6 - Please help

Guys, I really need to find the LG DLL file database for flashing .TOT files.
The DLL file I need is for the LG G2 D80510B_00 or LG G2 D80510A_00 TOT file firmwares, to be used on 1.6 LGFlashTool, for Brazil unbranded variant of the phone. I believe it will work for all D805 models.
The .TOT file I intend to use is LGD805AT-00-V10a-724-05-AUG-23-2013-16G+0.tot
I have scoured the internet for over a week and found none other than in a chinese LG G2 forum, the link -- http://bbs.gaodi.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=662769&extra=page=1&filter=typeid&typeid=2381 -- and the file was no longer available for download. I registered on their forum, but the file was showing an error even after proper registration.
I have not found this DLL anywhere, is there a database for it? How did people come up with the AT&T and Vzn DLL versions? I haven't been able to extract it from the KDZ files either, and the DLLs generated from the KDZ during UpdateTool does not work.
I had bricked the phone originally by trying to use Scott's Clean Rom on it, and it bricked into fastboot mode. I flashed something wrong on fastboot, I can't even remeber what, and rebooted, and fastboot was no longer accessible...
I can get into download mode, and factory reset from stock recovery, no custom recovery available, it is gone. I try to flash KDZ files, many versions besides my D805 one, just for the sake of trying, but all of them get stuck on the 49% point. I have set up port 41, disabled modem, reset phone before trying, selected many different language combinations besides my own Portuguese one. Nothing works.
On LGFlashTool 1.6 it seems like it can work, but it errors at 1%, when I use the DLLs for D800 or D802. I need the DLL for D805. I even managed to find the proper TOT file.
I have also searched for about two days on how to reenter fastboot mode from where I currently am stuck.I even did a DIY Factory Cable on an micro USB I had lying around, soldered it all right, but it did not work, and the cable got very hot. I think these cables will not get G2 into fastboot mode, like it seems to do on Kindle fire and Motorola devices. Maybe my DIY was not that good, but I think it should have worked, I made sure the soldure was set and good.
I am downloading Android SDK to try to get back into fastbood mode from there, if there is a way, as it seems to be. I would try to reflash boot and other partitions in an attempt to fix my phone... Is there a way, or another faster path back into Fastboot?
Download mode does not show the version of the firmware on the phone in the box that displays information in the bottom while fdlashng KDZ files. It leaves a blank line where it should be. I believe it is part of my problem, that LGFlashTool does not see a version on the phone at some point, and fails. Or the phone rejects the PC pushes.
I am almost going to the tech support guy with a flash box downtown, but that would be my last resot, and then official LG support, if all else fails. I don't want to go to LG yet because download mode shows ROOTED in red, and they would see it probably, and my warranty become void.
Thanks for any ideas, guidance or help... Cheers guys.
Read this carefully may help you
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
Yeah, that was the guide I used when I landed on fastboot after a bad flash from CleanROM... I flashed some boot.img and recovery.img that didnt work out well.
After I flashed these I rebooted and fastboot mode was no longer loading, instead, I am now on bootloop of the LG logo, with no animation, just the first logo that shows on boot, and I can access stock recovery to factory wipe and also access download mode. My download mode shows rooted warning, and while I am flashing a KDZ, does not show the firmware version I currently have in the middle of the box - before I flashed those .IMGs, it did show the version.
I now a, after a .DLL for D805 10A .TOT file, and I cannot find it. I think the flash method from LGFlashTools 1.6 will work, with .DLL and .TOT files, where the LGFlashTools 1.0.5 did not work for me, with .KDZ.
Or if anyone knows of a way to get into the fastboot mode for G2, pelase let me know. Then I could reflash some .IMG files and hopefully get my phone back online...
Try to flash other version even this is 802 or internetional version. At least you can proof your phone completly brick or not.
I only have all TOT file link of F320 and D802 if you need to try.

Turns out there's already a thread explaining how to do it.

I am sorry that I could not manage to do it offline. I even had the KDZ file to flash, but it was only possible through this option in LG Support Tool...
Best of luck to all in any similar problem, I know I was kinda without hope at some points. I spent 2 weeks trying to fix the phone.

I already installed this ROM and Worked all fine, but when I'm trying to install some Magisk Modules and rebooted my device it get stuck at LG logo... I can access Download mode but not my TWRp recovery.
Any solution to my problem? Just a little help...

Thanks to all that tried to help me! I appreciate it a lot! Thank you so much!
My only solution was to try short the capacitors following this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404
Thanks God I don't need to mess with the board!
My problem was that I tried this ROM LineageOS 17.1 with latest version of TWRP Blastgator. Everything was running fine until I flashed Magisk and installed some Mods, then the device rebooted and I get stuck at logo!
No System and no Recovery access, only Download mode! :crying:
Then I followed this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
I used to install some custom ROMs like Cloudy G2, LineageOS, Resurretion Remix and AOSPX Pie and tried to this new one. I never had any problems!
This time I realized that my device was forever bricked, my last hope was to short the capacitors but I tried all ways to back to Stock because in Downlaod Mode my device was recognized by Windows.
I tried this in Windows 10 x64 but no success, then I formatted an old HD with Windows 7 x64 to try again!
Old Flash Tool get me stuck at 2% or 4%... no success in both system with all LG drivers available... NO SUCCESS!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53313255&postcount=5400
LGUp only gives Unknow Device and never start but it's seens the device on port 41 - that I changed following the tutorial.
My last hope was New Flash Tool but I needed TOT file for my Device - D805 not D802 and the correct DLL. initially I didn't find anywhere... Like this guy:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583851
I give a lot of tries... a lot of different files, DLLs, tried .KDZ and .DZ, only errors and errors... a lot of "Failed to Load()"...
I'm getting frustrated until I see this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
And found this mine of gold of Downloads:
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/
And again, thanks to all, there is a hope in the D805 folder!
I get the TOT File: BIN_LGD805AT-00-V10a-724-05-AUG-23-2013-16G.zip and tried the LG Firmware Extractor (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2600575) to get a new DLL (LGUP8974.dll).
And voilà, like a charm that WORKED!!!!!!!!! :fingers-crossed::highfive:
It installed Jelly Bean the with the Official LG Updater I installed Kitkat and finally Lollipop.
Later I'll try this LineageOS Rom again!
I hope I can help someone in need like me!!
I thank this forum a lot!!
And please excuse my English!
Thank you so much!

Go back to 100% STOCK from 4.4.2!!!

Since so many people have asked if they can go back to 4.2.2 from using my 4.4.2 update thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692505
YES YES YES you CAN go back to STOCK 100%, the day it came out of the box 4.2.2 if you try out the 4.4.2 update I shared.
This is the Official direct from LG update/return to stock you'll be doing.
Heres how:
Make sure your usb drivers are installed.
Make sure you backup EVERYTHING you want to keep as this will wipe your LG G Pad V500 completely.
Now
Make sure your G Pad is ON, and plugged into your PC and It is plugged in with LG Software mode **NOT connected in "charge tablet" or "Media sync (MTP)".
This will ONLY work in LG Software mode.
Download this:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407582419
Install it and right click on it and Run As Administrator, just to be safe.
Open it and once you get to the screen click OK at the bottom...
The next screen will say "Your device has the latest software available..."
Ignore this.
Click on OPTIONS in the top right...select "Upgrade Recovery" give a few seconds to load and it's going to do it's thing
--It's going to ask you for 2 things: 1st line "LG V500" or "LGV500" or "V500" I believe I used "LGV500" and the 2nd line goes your serial number to your LG G Pad, it's on your box, OR the sticker on the back at the bottom of your tablet or I am sure there is an app or another way to get that for you, I have my box.
Now just sit and let it do it's thing and it will flash and "update" your LG G Pad V500 back to 4.2.2 stock, with the stock 4.2.2 bootloader.
You can root, use the Loki exploit, add recovery or whatever your heart desires.
((NOW GO CHECK OUT THE 4.4.2 update I posted and see for yourself if the 4.4.2 update was worth the wait, since you now know you can indeed go back to stock 4.2.2 so easily))
****IF you are stuck in an LG logo bootloop, do the following:
--HOLD the power button for up to 30 seconds until your tablet is OFF completely.
Now press and hold the power & volume down button
As soon as the LG logo shows up, release the power button ONLY, keep holding Volume Down.
While holding Volume down press and hold the Power Button & Volume UP.
You should be now holding all 3 buttons.
The Factory Reset Screen should appear, now let go of the buttons.
Press the power button to continue.
Press the power button again to confirm if you’re sure you wish to continue with the reset and press power a 3rd time.
Voila.
You're back to stock 4.2.2 100% and YES you can use the Loki exploit again! As this does go back to the 4.2.2 bootloader
GO ROOT and do your thing.
I used this method when I originally downgraded from the leak. The problem here that I've been asking all over the place is where is the file stored that is downloaded? This method will become obsolete without it because this tool will just download the kk update when it's released. The tool downloads and flashes the 'latest' firmware.
I've looked everywhere on my computer looking for the 1.5gb file that this tool downloads (currently 4.2.2) and I just can't find it....

As predicted, this doesn't work anymore since it's downloading and re flashing KitKat. Is there a work-arround to stop it from downloading and feed it the 4.2.2. flash file?
I want to revert back to 4.2.2 but the guides i've seen so far seem complicated. This one is simple but don't work anymore.
Yes, it is possible. I did it two days ago following an italian guide, through google translate. I would post the link but unfortunatelly I'm not allowed, having less than 10 posts.
But answer me this: why do you wanna go back to 4.2.2? The reason I'm asking is because, after I downgraded and tried various ROMs, I reverted back to KitKat in a matter of hours.

this is required so one can retain loki and custom recovery patched in the latest bootloader , so the ideal way would be to
1. get to 4.2.2
2. Root
3. TWRP recovery
4. Flash 4.4.2 official zip via recovery thus retaining recovery and the loki exploit
You can also use the loki exploit, obtain root and then flash a custom recovery AFTER upgrading to 4.4.2. I know this because I did it.
I also tried it running official 4.4.2 but it seems like since there is 4.4.2 officially available it just reflashes the same system.
LINK TO UPDATED PROCEDURE:
Since LG has put the 4.4.2 image on their servers, factory restore now gets you a version without the exploits required to flash a custom recovery. The procedure in post #1 no longer reverts to 4.2.2.
Fortunately, there is another thread that discusses a workaround to this. If you need to flash a 4.4.2 device back to 4.2.2 so you can flash a custom recovery (and in order to have access to third-party ROMs), please see this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53140473&postcount=14
I hope this helps.
After updating my g pad to 4.4.2 the front camera stopped working. Android can't recognize it anymore so I'am downgrading to 4.2.2
Can't root!
Hello everyone,
I just got the LG G Pad 8.3 couple weeks ago. I've never been able to own an Android device that I didn't flash a custom rom on. I am currently trying to root this tablet, however, cannot do it for the life of me!
I've tried several guides on XDA but always end up with it not working. First issue I'm dealing with is that I cannot boot into the stock recovery. My recovery doesn't have the option to load from ADB. So, that's out of the question.
Following the guide within this thread leads me to the fact that I cannot go into "Software Mode"!!!
Please help me!
The specs on this tablet are the following:
Model number: CK810 4G :cyclops:
Android Version: 4.4.2
Software Version: VK81022B
Kernel version: 3.4.0
I cant open b2capp - it's showing- check your internet connection. But I'm all the time on wifi, I hv no idea what's happend.

The LG Flash Tool 2014 is a modified flash tool that simply works without connecting to the network or utilize LG's Mobile Support:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
1. Download LG Flash Tool 2014 and LG Drivers
2. Put the KDZ you desire.
3. Set "Select Type" to CDMA (I think it doesn't really matter)
3. Set Phone Mode to: EMERGENCY
4. Click CSE Flash for complete wipe or Normal Mode. (I choose CSE but haven't tested Normal Mode)
5. Click the "START" Button on next screen.
6. Press "OK" (I've also choose English as language)

FAILPROOF METHOD (Unroot, Return to Stock and Update to stock 6.0 Metro/T-Mobile)

Hey guys im checking out a method i found on putting the metro phone back to stock (I had my phone rooted when i tried updating as ive seen with a few others)
I am currently on MetroPCS LG G Stylo 5.1.1
Things I've tried previously:
Updating normally (with root, gave error, couldnt update afterwards)
Updating after removing root (still no cigar there so i went to LG Bridge)
LG Bridge also did not work
Bootstack + Return2Stock (Didnt work either)
So now, im going to give you the solid information on HOW to fix this problem, update your phone to 6.0 and re-root it
Things you will need:
Tmobile H63110i_00.kdz (NOT METRO!!!) **I used H631v10j but you can use whichever fits your phone, i felt since mine said j i should use j**
H631v10j Download
H631v10i Download
LG Flash Tool 2014 - LG Flash Tool Download
LG Drivers - LG Drivers
LG Bridge - Found Here
1. Extract the Flash tool to your desktop, copy the H631v10(i or j) into the LG flash tool folder, Install your LG Drivers AND install LG Bridge
2. Boot your Stylo into Download Mode (Plug the USB into your COMPUTER, Shut off the phone completely, wait 3 seconds then hold VOLUME UP and then plug in your USB cable to your phone while holding the volume button)
3. Run LG Flash tools exe as administrator, Select Type: CDMA, PhoneMode: DIAG, Reset time: 33000 then select your .kdz file (the one u put in the flash tool folder)
4. Click 'CSE Flash' then click 'Start' under Country select 'Different' and Language 'English' then hit OK
**NOTE: You will get an error about not being able to connect to the server, just click OK and let it go, your phone will still update**
5. Once your phones finished updating, you will go through the setup, you will be on T-Mobile firmware (for now) so log in with your google account, set up the phone and then open google play, set that up first so you know the gapps are up to date.
6. Go to Settings click the three dots at the top right and click list view (its easier) then scroll to About Phone, click Update Center and UPDATE YOUR APPS FIRST! i have no idea why but this is crucial. after they are updated, repeat the step and click system updates, you should see the update is available (DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT ON THE PHONE!)
7. Connect your phone (if not still connected) and open LG Bridge, for the first time users it will ask you to log in with your gmail, do that and once you get into the app your phone should show up on the bottom left corner of the app. There are 3 tabs at the top 'LG AirDrive' 'LG Backup' 'Software Update' Click on Software Update
8. It will check and tell you your phone is up to date, click OK and after a few seconds you should see the update pop up (it will say MS63110j this is the metro update to bring your phone back to metro firmware) Update your phone and let it download, update and install through the app, during this time your phone will restart and boot into update mode, dont touch it, let it go.
9. Your phone will boot up showing the LG Logo at around 90% in the app, DO NOT UNPLUG IT, let it update until the app says 100% complete. Your phone will start the usual optimization process of apps and all that, let it go and after a bit you will boot back into Metro on 5.1.1 with no root no TWRP etc.
10. Update your phone normally and it should update through the software updater thats built in on your phone if you followed everything correctly.
This is my first tutorial, but as i was writing this i was doing it to my phone at the same exact time, so this should do exactly what mine did and update normally. after you finish updating do the normal steps for Root/TWRP (i did not do these yet) and let me know if this worked for you.
UPDATE** After all of this work, I am very pleased to inform you that the update to 6.0 stock firmware WORKED (I had to wait between 11pm and 4am to download the update, i downloaded it at 11:34pm it is not 12:05pm and android is upgradeing 8 of 19 files currently), Tutorial is a success!!

Im not 100% sure about that, you can give it a try but as always, make a backup of your current ROM in TWRP and put it on your computer just in case.
For Step #6, I had WIFI on so it automatically started downloading the MM update when I tapped "System Update". Fortunately, I was still able to go through the rest of the steps with no problems. Probably we should just avoid tapping "System Updates" ? Anyway, much thx.
Now, how to re-root...?

Thats ok to do and as far as rerooting, i havent done that just yet as i havent had the time to do so. As soon as i reroot my phone i will update the thread but in the mean time you can attempt the 1 click root method for 5.1.1 and see if that works for you, if not i heard the manual root method works on 6.0
I was like you. I tried the Bootstack + Return2Stock with the OTA update, but the phone never rebooted.
I decided I was not going to worry about going to 6.0. I tried rooting the 5.1.1 the same way I did before using the Bootstack + Return2Stock. My phone did not boot back up.
So I decided that I would use this guide to get to 6.0 since I have to do something to get the phone working again.
I'm stuck at #8. LG bridge says no software update as your guide states, but it does not show the MS63110j update.....
Thoughts
I can't get this to work .. but then again, I have a different problem .. security error 1009 ..
Anyways, I get passed the choosing CSE or Normal methods .. then I get to 100 percent on the first task .. then to about 30 percent on the second one, then it magicly stops working on me, the whole program. No matter what I do.

With that youd have to entirely flash a new ROM onto your phone, ive had that happen to me before with other phones ive had and my only fix was to flash a stock ROM like 5.1.1 or something onto your phone. LG Bridge will only find the updates if the phone is on and working (booted up) but if you open LG Bridge and click the software update tab theres a link in the bottom right corner that says "Update Error Recovery" try that

Thats quite odd, try opening LG Bridge and clicking on the Software Update tab, then clicking the link at the bottom right that says "Update Error Recovery" see if this fixes the problem.

No problem, I'm glad to hear that this worked for you man. as i stated i was doing these steps as I was writing them so i could make sure it worked 100% for people with the same update issue i had.
Update, it was the laptop I was on causing the error ... now I'm stuck on #8 ... the metropcs firmware update isn't coming up.
---------- Post added at 08:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:35 AM ----------
Also, definitely don't update to 6.0 via OTA from TMOB?

On a side note, my service works flawlessly with the TMOB firmware.
Why not just flash the metro kdz?
hey so i got a quick problem when i got to click the h631v10j download it says not found ??

the 10i one works. i would just use that...are both of those tmobile kdzs? i thought i had downloaded the metro version a while back but i cant seem to find it...
edit...well i guess we dont really need the kdz since we have this http://androidforums.com/threads/rom-lg-g-stylo-h631-ms631-v10j-stock-restore.949196/
double edit...i found the metro/tmobile kdzs here http://androidforums.com/threads/re...s-kdz-for-t-mobile-metro-fido-for-now.927867/
sounds like you might want to stick to using the kdz to get back to stock, because it seems like some people have had issues not being able to get the ota update when they use the other method
i have tried just about everything... tried putting the metropcs kdz, the tmobile kdz.. switching to a stock tmobile and a metropcs Rom and still not able to update...

LG Magna without download mode

I have LG Magna H502Y and i have REALLY BIG PROBLEM. My phone apparently has 8GB of internal storage, but it on has 2 of available,so i had no space for downloading. And i flashed custom rom for LG Magna(AOSP Rom,Exception rom) in search of those 8GB,and i did it. But now the whole software has problems, like no double tap for lock-unlock,camera is really bad,no QMemo, and alot of things that original LG Magna had. Now there comes tricky part,i wanted to flash it back to normal stock firmware via LG Flash Tool with KDZ file(i found KDZ file for LG Magna) aaaaaand as i wanted to start flashing to stock firmware,THE PHONE HAS NO DOWNLOAD MODE THAT IS NECESSARY FOR FLASHING.Can you guys please help me finding out how to flash it to stock rom? I tried via ADB,LG Flash tool...
Are you sure, there is no download mode ?
Try to remove the battery, then connect your magna to pc, press and hold volume up button and put the battery back.
Sent from my LG-H500 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I tried that and i tried via ADB (adb reboot download),via Quickboot app,but nothing happens,it just restarts

I have done it! Haha, I'm pretty much overjoyed right now
So to those people who will face this problem in the future, here's some tips.
1. Download your firmware from here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=237
(ctrl+f) then type the model number
2. Follow the instructions from this site: http://www.file-extensions.org/article/install-kdz-firmware-to-lg-smartphone
3. A window will appear asking for your country and language. Choose different country then your language. (If you are not Korean)
4. If an error about "can't connect to server" occurs, ignore it. You've already downloaded the file, so there's nothing to worry about.
5. Wait until it finishes rebooting and optimizes the apps.
6. ???
7. Profit
Hahaha, jk.
8. Enjoy and be careful next time
hi, were you able to resolve this ? i tried flashing using the lg flash tool, and it failed midway(Around 78%) and is now stuck on bootloop....i see the lg logo, and then it goes blank and back to the logo

Bricked LG G6

Hello everyone!
To make my problem short I tried to update my LG G6 on Oreo but in the middle of update process phone shut down(I didn't know why-probably battery?) And after that phone is bootlooping and I tried to flash stock rom using uppercut and LGUP but without success I manage to start flash process and when it reaches about 50% phone just reboots and flash tool gives error message. Now phone is bricked. I don't now if there are any solutions. Any help is appreciated! Thank you guys! :fingers-crossed:
Keep on charging..
See some post how to enter in download mode (within fraction of second).. use LGUP and flash PROPER ROM..
(I see it was bootlooping.. that it must be charging)
Huge thanks for your reply, well I manage to get to download mode without problem, PC can detect phone as well and I can start flashing process, however with all firmwares I have found I cannot "refurbish" because "refurbished is not supported by that firmware" so I can only select upgrade in LG up. When I start process it goes all the way up to about 50% and phone just reboots back to download mode, after that LG UP moves a few % further reaching about 55% and gives error " invalid response code". I think if I can somehow use that refurbish option to clean flash stock rom , maybe that will be the fix. Thanks again.
I also forgot to mention that when I failed to install stock room with LG up my phone cannot escape download mode, when I force reboot it phone goes again directly to download mode. Probably because there is no OS installed?
Are you sure to using right firmwares for your model?
Thanks for reply. Pretty sure I did use good firmware I found links here on XDA forums and downloaded "H8710d_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0327.kdz" but if I somehow found .tot file would that make a difference and let me to use that "refurbish" option. Thanks everyone for help, very appreciated!

Hi Ray, can you provide me the link of the tot file? I have the same problem
Unfortunately, I think there are no tot files that support refurbish. But after I replaced motherboard regular kdz update flash worked perfectly. I haven't found solution to that problem.
I would suggest you to try your luck if you have unlocked bootloader and try to flash TWRP to get phone back.
